Hi, this is my first time on any type of message board and my first IVF so please pardon my lack of IVF lingo. I had my retrieval on Monday 02/16, 25 follicles where retieved and 21 ferlilized, 6 frozen right away. I was very sore and constipated after the retrieval and still am. I had a 5 day ET that friday with 2 8 cell embryos, and they kept the remaining ones two more days. I was informed that Monday that only 3 made it through Blastocyst and joined the other 6 frozen embryos. i have my first blood test this coming monday and the wait is killing me. I'm feeling some minor cramps and breat tenderness but no bleding. As I've read through some of the messages I see that many women do bleed and it could be because of implantation. Is it normal not to bleed at all and still have the implantation occur or does it mean that it just didn't implant? it's been 6 days since my ET and I just started feeling my minor cramps yesterday but no bleeding..I'm so confused, I always thought that bleeding or spotting means bad news but now I feel the opposite.
thank you, I just wanted t know if there's anyone out there that didn't have any spotting or bleeding during your 2ww, maybe just some cramps...what was the outcome
spotting can be a sign of implantation but not necessarily AND many women don't spot even when they get BFPs (natural or IVF). I know it's hard not to, but don't look for "signs" becuase they can really mean anything (especially with the progesteron shots).
Hang in there, your 2ww is almost over and you're doing wonderful!
Best wishes

I didn't have any bleeding of any kind but I did have mild cramping off and on which I still have sometimes.
I know the wait is hard but your almost there..........Good Luck!!!
Just my 2 cents--the cramping could be related to your constipation. If it hasn't resolved, get some metamucil or some colace. I was told the progesterone makes constipation even worse, so best that the constipation is resolved sooner rather than later.
GL to you-- you're almost halfway through your 2ww!
Looking for signs of pregnancy is the worst part of the wait, although we all do it! Everyone is different and I think it is more common to not have implantation bleeding. I did have it, but it was the day of my beta test! So you never know. Don't look for signs, it will just make you crazy! I should know, I was the crazy one a year ago! I made myself nuts, constantly reading and then questioning everything. Each cycle was different for me and it didn't work for me until the third time! Good luck

Bleeding, unfortunately will not help you figure out if it worked. Its different for everyone and every pregnancy...just so we go insane.
I found the biggest clue it worked was feeling extra tired or just off your regular sleep schedule!
Good luck!
