Hello Ladies... Well, I got my report back today. Out of the 6 eggs, 4 fertilized. They will call me again tomorrow to see how my babies are doing and if i will be going in for a 3dt on Saturday or if they will push for a 5dt. I am still sore from ER and I can say it feels kind of worse. It really hurts when I do the bathroom. Tonight i have to take some Senokt and tomorrow night I start my POI. I really hope my babies make it thru. I feel so crushed... And now I am a littlethinkative right now. If my 4 embies make it, I really wanted to tranfer 3, but now I don't know f I should just do 2 and see if the other 2 make it to freeze, or should I do 3 and see if the 4th makes it to freeze. And then what happens if this cycle fails and I have to start a new cycle... will they let me stim again to see if I can produce more eggs or will they just do an FET on the 1 if it makes it? Aaarrrggg. Cuz in that case I would rather tranfer 2 this time. And try 2 the next time. Hope I made sense. Well, as for my DH, I told him about the four and he was glad, but doesnt seem as excited this time around. he said he doesnt want to get too excited... DH wheres the PMA???? I don't blame him though. I guess my Clinic wouldnt go thru my stomach if I wasnt aware of it. I will ask them though, but maybe next time if I have to go thru this again, I will tell him... "DO WHAT U NEED TO TO GET MY EGGS MISTER". If I would have know this before he put me to sleep then I would have told him yesterday. All I can hope for now is that my EMbies make it another day and that this time they stick.

CA... 8 is a good numbr to choose from at ER. I guess its a good sign that you can produce so many eggs if your age was an issue. I hope your embies stick and u get your BFP. Good Luck.

Nurse... On day three they are graded, cuz if they make it to day five they consider them Blasto..something. Good Luck Saturday at your ET... Hope you get your BFP. Sending sticky baby vibes.

Mandeekins... I will make sure to ask them about the stomach. I kind of thought about it after ER, but since it was never mentioned as an option, I hesitated to ask. But defo will ask. Thanks for thinking of me... When i was pg with my DD, 10 yrs agao. The US was recorded on VHS tape, how times change, but I actually still have it and I am going to see where I can tranfer it to a DVD. I want to be able to give it to my DD for keepsakes. I am glad you are having a great time being PG. Good Luck hun.

molly... U might be the lucky one that doesnt get symptoms. Trust me, it is not Whip Cream & Cherries, but I understand how u do look forward to the symsptoms, and since u want them, I hope you get them. GL at your US.

Tburks... As for the embie that doesnt implant. I guess it just slides out with your CM. I have no clue. Asfor the OctoMom... I have mixed feelings about her. I blame alot of it on the RE though. As for her, I dont agree with her wanting to raise kids on her own esecially is she is not stable. The last 6, I beleive she says that she didnt want to just dispose of her embies.. I would find myself in that situation... If I had some frozen embies, I would be so hesitant about disposing of them. But then again, I wouldn't find myself doing all 6 at once... but then again, who knows cuz I would love a big family. But I beleive she did it for the wrong reasons.. $$ and fame... and that it the wrong reasons, but then again, it worked in her favor. I just hope, it doent fall back on her.

Lady-J~I am so sorry they weren't able to reach your right ovary! That is sooooo frustrating. But i'm glad that your leftie is a good producer cause 6 eggs is terrific for one side. And 4 out of 6 is a good fertilization rate. Maybe you and DH should have a quickie and try to feritlize those eggs on the right! Or is this really dangerous cause there could be a bunch?

Chris
~I am so excited that you get to start again so soon! Hooray! All the best to you for a success this time.

I am still in the 2ww. Going a bit nuts. Exhausted from the process and trying to feel positive. But feeling very numb now. Im not having very many symptoms. Just mild AF cramping occasionally and sleepy.

Hi Sue... Good to hear from you. So when is your Beta? I thought u forgot about us. Thanks for the PMA, as for the quickie. I was too sore yesterday and today, but for sure by now, thyer are gone. I beleive they ovulate within the 36 hrs of HCG, so if i triggered monday night, they may be gone. And I dont want to try tomorrow cuz if I have to go in Saturday, my RE may see what my DH left behind. .

ET went well today! They transferred all 3 embies. The were all grade 2 and 2 of them were 6-cells and 1 was only 4-cells. I go in on Monday morning for b/w to check my progesterone and then my BETA is scheduled for Monday, March 9th. I think I expected to feel different after the transfer but I didn't. My doctor has me on bedrest until Saturday, is this common? I was really hoping that we would have some 8-cell embies, but I am so happy that all 3 survived until today. Has anyone had a BFP with a 6-cell embryo?

I wish everyone the best. I will do personals soon but my DH is wanting someone to play with:)

Lady_J - As for your transfer delima, I would first wait to see what your embies look like. If it were me, I think i would transfer 3. They have to be really good eggs to make it to freeze so if you only transfer 2 then you are taking a chance that you will lose the other 2 if they don't make it to the freezing stage. That's just my 2 cents. Hoping you a feeling better today.

SueQiwi - The 2ww just sucks. I don't get any work done in the 2ww cause I can't concentrate on anything. Good luck and keeping my fingers crossed for your BFP!!!

Happy Friday Ladies. Rise & Shine everyone. :D Chris, u r so funny with that Weekend Guy... it wasnt my weekend guy though so its ok  . As for the transfer dilemma... well, I just got the call from my nurse about my babies. As of this morning... 3 are at 4 cell graded A- and one is at 2 cell graded B. I wont be tranferring until Monday so I will be having a 5dt. According to the RE, they look beautiful and are where they should be, I just hope he's right. If he allows me to transfer 3, then it looks as if I will be tranferring the 3 4-cell embies. I am excited about doing the 5dt... do u know if the chances r higher doing a 5dt?

That is wonderful news Lady J. I have read that some think a 5 day transfer has better success rates, because they are more towards the Blastocyst stage. Some will say 3 days are just as good, but I have read you have a better chance with a 5 day. However so far I prove otherwise.

Happy Friday Everyone! :D :D :D

Thanks Molly. I kind of heard that too, but I hope so. I am just so excited. I think I will tranfer the three good ones, if they let me. I have to wait till Monday to talk to the RE. Just as Chris said, if I tranfer 2 and then the other 2 dont make it to freeze, I will be somewhat dissapointed with myself. I just hope they let me tranfer 3.

So how r u feeling? Just a few more days for US. Im so glad for you. Hope u get to see your little bean.

4 more long days for me before the ultrasound. I have noticed I am super tired lately and last night I could not stay up to watch a movie. I have felt a little sick to my stomach at times but nothing extreme. I just cannot wait until Tuesday when I finally know for sure everything is okay.

We only put back two, but both were 8 cell embies grade A. I asked my doctor if we could do three and he would not even consider it.

Had our second ultrasound today. It's so nice to have a cycle that finally works!

Both of the babies were still there though there's likely evidence of a third that didn't make it. They both have a little shape now (looked like grains of rice on Monday!) and really strong little heartbeats. The nurse said that once you see the heartbeat, the risk of miscarriage goes down below 5%! Yeah!

Shelly, thanks! I hope you have twins too. When's your ultrasound?

Lady_J, I was so frustrated reading about how they couldn't get to your right ovary! But the good news is you got a good number of embryos anyway and 4 are fertilizing, so that's plenty. Here's what my RE said about transfer dates: Later gives them a better chance to see which ones are really strong, but sooner can help marginal embryos survive, since they do better in the uterus than the lab. With plenty to choose from, I can see why you'd wait till day 5.

Molly, I did ET on 1/30, so I'm just a few days ahead of you. I've only had symptoms for a week, but they've gotten worse fast. Sleepiness was my first symptom too. The nauseau has really gotten hellish and believe me you're lucky if you can avoid it! Blighted ovums are rare and very unlikely since it really sounds like all signs are normal with you.

tburks, congrats on the a baby with a heartbeat!!! Sorry you have to suffer through OHSS, but I guess the good results make it a little easier to take. Yes, I've had cramping for the last week or two, though I think it's getting lighter now. The nurse says it's a good sign of implantation, which lasts much longer than I realized.

nursegator, nice fertilization rates! Sounds like you have some strong embryos there!

Chris, I'm so glad you weren't canceled! Good luck!

Anxious, glad they transferred them all. Yes, 2 - 3 days bed rest is common, so no worries.

CAFirstInvitro, don't worry. Your numbers really sound very normal to me and lots of people do fine with much smaller numbers. You are definitely reading the wrong internet sites! Surf back through some of these threads and you'll see your stats are maybe even a little above average!

Kate- Congrats on seeing your twins again. You must be so excited. What week did your symptoms really start? I have had some nausea, but not to where it is not bearable. It just comes in little spurts.
