Still on jury duty. Judge won’t tell us how long it’ll last. Who would’ve thought that jury duty is more tiring than working?

Stayinpositive
Congrats!

Konahart
Pulling for you on your beta today.

BarbD
Hoping your u/s shows goods news today.

Ionlywant1
Of course, I want the extra u/s (which they describe as the carrot) but I probably could have been convinced to give the extra blood even without. I am all for research that will help others in this journey later on. Besides, at this point, I’ve lost all fear of needles – and for that matter, spreading my legs for someone in a lab coat.

Yipee Stayinpositive! Congratulations on the BFP. Now that the long wait for 2ww is over, another seemingly long wait for the ultrasound

Siouxsie If you serve on a jury, do you get a longer time off before receiving another summons? I can see you're trying to put a ticker on the signature section. It should work. Sometimes there's a glitch in the programming so it may help if you erase the [img] before and after then rehighlight and push the Img button up top again. I have to do that with my blinkies sometimes. I copied and pasted the ticker link on another window and it popped up with your ticker 6 weeks 2 days, so this should work.

Still fretting about my ultrasound on Tuesday coz I'm a little further along than those who have already seen a heartbeat. I'm praying the little one is just a late bloomer like myself. BarbD good luck today on your ultrasound.

To me the 2 week wait for the ultrasound seems much longer then the two week wait for the BFP.

I know exactly what you mean. Your betas are amazing, though. Do something fun over the weekend with dh, or you could hunt for fun blinkies on the internet to put on your messages likes this...

Stayinpositive--congradulations on your BFP, did you get your BETA #'s.

Molly, how are you feeling besides the wait of the u/s.

I had my second u/s today and well the RE did the math and said I was 5 3/4 wks not 6 but we did see a tiny heartbeat atleast my DH with his non trained eyes did. Me ofcourse the one with a medical background so nothing but I think I was just nervous. RE said we are going to wait till March 9 to do another u/s, by then I shall be 7wks. I guess an u/s to soon shows nothing but the sac.

I guess I am a little nervous considering they told me I was one week then they are changing it because of the way the embroy is growing. RE kept asking me if I had any bleeding, I kept saying no and he kept asking "R U SURE" like I wouldn't know if I was bleeding from down there. Anyway have to work tonight so nap time for me, I will check in later.

Barb- Don't be nervous it was just to early to see anything. It sounds like you have a heartbeat and things are progressing. Now you just have to wait for your next utlrasaound.

I am feeling really tired, and little sick to my stomach at times but nothing major. My breast still hurt off and on, but that may be due to the progesterone. I just cannot wait until Tuesday.

How are you feeling?

Barb I know that wasn't what you wanted to hear today or see. I don't understand the timing thing. If you had gotten pg naturally I could understand being unsure of how far along you were but they know the exact time when the eggs were fertilized. Have they done anymore beta's? It is really early. Maybe it's a girl and she's just taking her time!!

Molly
I am having a lot of the same symptoms as you. I will be eating something and then suddenly I will get sick and not be able to finish eating it! My breast are sore off and on to. More sore when I get up in the morning. I have to hold on to them cause they feel like they are going to explode!

Siouxsie
I think it would be hard having jury duty. As much as I have to pee it would be misearble!!

As for me still drinking the gatoraid. I am not in as much pain as I was but I am still really bloated. I got my maternity clothes in the mail today. I was surprised at how well they fit and how comfortable they were! After I tried them on I kinda got this feeling like - I hope I get to wear them. Isn't that weird?? Guess it's just a little doubt creeping in there. I'm trying to be positive and I really feel like everything is fine. Just want to try and be realistic to I guess.

I don’t know how the jury pool works except that they can’t call you more than 1 time in a year and that the term is either 1 day or 1 trial. This is my 4 call and 2nd trial in the 20 years I’ve been eligible so I guess that’s not too bad.

I can’t seem to get this ticker thing. I even tried ones from different sites. I’ll play around some more then probably give up and go back to my old signature.

Tuesday will be here before you know it. We’ll all be sending you good vibes and you’ll hear that musical hb right on schedule.

Molly23
You’re right about the wait, but breaking it into these tiny chunks is the only way to make the 8 mos. wait bearable.

BarbD
Hooray for the hb. That counts for a lot. Try not to worry about the timing too much. My last pregnancy I was behind for a while, but it eventually caught up and was right on target for the dates. These little frozen guys might need just a bit longer to start sprinting.

Tburks
They give us a ton of breaks so peeing has been okay. The real problem is staying alert. I start to get so tired by the end of the afternoon.

I can understand your nervousness about the clothes. So far I’m still fitting into my pants, although some of my blouses are straining at the buttons.

Glad your pain’s getting better.

Thank you ladies for putting my mind at ease. This is my first IVF and since we could do the transfer b/c of OHSS and had to do the FET, I don't really know if they are 3 or 5 days so maybe it needs time to grow like you guys say. On the happier note I got the FMLA approved so I don't have to worry if I need bedrest or to take a day off cause I don't feel well.

tburks--they did the first BETA at only 10 days after transfer and it was 200 then at 18 days it was 2653. No more BETA's but he did take blood to check the progesterone. My next u/s is 3/9 I should be 7wks by then.

BarbD congratulations. To me a heartbeat is a heartbeat. The little sickness you're getting is a good thing. I'm glad you got paperwork filled out to allow you to take a day off if you need it. Hope your hb vibes rub off on the rest of us!

Siouxsie I see you got a ticker to work! I guess your track record on jury duty isn't too bad. I've had to go in every year for the last 5 years but I've never been picked. I get tired around 3:00-ish feels like I just need to find a nice quiet place to take a quick nap. Of course, these symptoms could all be in my head coz I think I'm pregnant. Tuesday can't come quick enough!

tburks Hope your OHSS is resolving. At least now a days they make more fashionable maternity clothes. Back in my mom's day the only choice she had was a moo-moo. I think you should wear your new clothes with pride.

Congratulations on your BFP! :D Unfortunately, a lot more waiting ahead!

BarbD
Glad to hear that you heard a hb! That's definately great news! It should only get stronger.

tburks
Happy to hear that your OHSS is better.

siouxse
That is some long jury duty--I hope it was at least interesting. :D You're lucky that your pants are still fitting you--mine are beginning to feel tight. Isn't it too soon for that? Still feeling bloated.

Anxious about US on Thursday. Still a while away but not sure what to expect. Just curious, when does RE eventually send you to OB? After 1st US if everything looks good?

Had u/s #2 today. Hb's up to 116 and a whopping 5.9mm. So far, so good. Will feel even better next week when we pass our earliest loss milestone. My next u/s for RE's study will be 3/7.

ionlywant1
I gave up on the ticker I wanted and settled for one that worked. Thanks for your help. I’ll like it best when it’s at 0 days to go.

It’s not in your head. You just have a shy little bugger that’s going to come out and say hello on Tuesday.

Kikie
Sadly, the trial is nothing like the movies and is way duller than I would’ve imagined. With luck, it should wrap Monday or Tuesday.

I can’t remember when my RE actually waves goodbye, but I do recall they like following through for 2 u/s. My regular HMO schedules the first office visit between 8 and 10 weeks. I’ll have the first intake w/ HMO Wed. 3/4. They’ll do medical history, glucose check and schedule first two office visits and genetic counseling.

Looks like Tuesday’s a big u/s day for us with Labstoo, Molly23, *Ert* and Ionlywant1 all going under the wand. Hang in there, ladies, almost there. It’s going to be a productive Spring.

Hey guys! I broke down and cheated last night and took a test and within about 5 seconds I could see the big blue +... OK but I am not convinced. I took the test about 3 1/2 days early. My 1st HCG shot was 10,000 IUI on 2/14... my doctor also prescribed another HCG shot of 2,500 IUI on 2/17, 2/20 and 2/22.... I am not sure if I am still seeing the affects of the HCG or if that is out of my system. It is really hard for me to tell because of the additional shots... I am going to test again tomorrow just to see... what do you think?
