I can't wait until AF shows her face again. I still have a couple of more weeks... Lets see what happens. I received my letter of confirmation that states I was approved for another IVF. Now i have a questions for you guys. I start a new insurance thru work that starts on the 25th of March. Now I already got approved for another cycle with my current insurance. What happens if AF shows her face after the 25th when my new insurance kicks in, can I still finish the cycle with my current insurance or will they not cover it as I won't be enrolled with them anymore.

Rosario -- You may want to call your new insurance now to get pre-approved for the cycle as you do not want anything stopping you from completing it midway through. I went through an insurance change as well this year. The good thing was my new insurance actually covered the IVF cycle at 50% were the other one didn't cover it at all. However, my last insurance covered the medication 100% so I went ahead and ordered it in Dec but when I needed more medication in Feb it was a nightmare getting it approved and sent to me from my new insurance provider because I didn't think to get my medicines approved by them. So, I would just say it is best to cover all your bases so you know what you are dealing with up front.

Molly23 -- Congrats on seeing "Both" of your babies!!! I am sure that was a magical moment. My first U/S will be in about 2 weeks.

tabatha1975 – My Lupron injections were to be taken in the morning so I just took them when I got up in the morning. Generally, it was always around the same time within an hour timeframe.

To everyone else: Thank you for the congrats! I am thinking about everyone who is in their 2ww wait and is just starting their cycles. This is one crazy ride to be on but with people like you all to talk with it makes it a little easier to deal with. I am ready for some more BFP!!!!!

Hopeful VA

Congrats on your pregnancy and your beta numbers are great. I hope your two week wait goes by much faster then mine did. I thought i was going stir crazy.

Lady J how are you feeling after your transfer, and are your dealing with the two week wait okay?

CAFirstInvitro- Good luck on your beta date. how close are you?

SueQiwi- I had cramping too, and I think it is perfectly normal to feel that.

As for me I am still in shock with the fact I am having twins, and still wondering why I have very few symptoms. My doctor said i will have symptoms soon enough though.

tabatha1975 -- If your doctor has told you to take it in the evening, or that it is ok to, then don't worry. We all have different protocols.

Molly - I am so excited for you. I have been thinking that is would be nice to have twins as well. I know it will be hard work but you get double the blessings at once :) My BETA numbers are not high enough to assume twins but I know it could go either way so we'll see as time passes.

Hopeful- I am now a believer you cannot depend on beta numbers. My first beta was 226 I think. Then it went to the high 800's on the 2nd, and my 3rd beta was 17,436. So you never know this early.

tabatha1975 I always did all of my shots at 11:00 pm, it was the only time i was always home. My RE said anytime between 7pm and midnight would be fine just try to stay consistant and within an hour or so each night.

I can't believe that I crumbled....I took a HPT this morning to see if the trigger was out of my system. Sure enough - it is! I was feeling different yesterday like I knew it was out of my system. My breasts are not sore anymore. They really hurt last week. I just needed the HPT to confirm. It was nice to confirm that HCG was out of my system but I hate seeing that BFN!!!! No more HPT for me! This 2WW is driving me nuts!!
Me - 32, DH - 34

2nd IVF - BFP!!!!
1st BETA 14dp3dt (5/21) - 709

hi ladies, I have been gone for a while, so lots of exciting things have happened, sorry I missed it all!

Congrats to all of you who got BFPS in the last few weeks. Molly, wow, twins, congrats!

I have a quick question for anyone out there- I had ER on Monday, and it went fine. They got 17 eggs, and 11 fertilized.

I have PCOS, so my RE was worried about OHSS. I am waiting for a call to see what my estradiol level was this morning, and if it is okay, we will transfer tomorrow. If it is too high, we are going to have to freeze everything and do a FET when my body calms the hell down.

Ok here is my ?- I feel okay, a little sore still in the ovary area, but I have had a bad stomach ache since last night. I've been eating light and well, but my stomach hurts pretty badly. I felt super nauseated last night. RE said this morning it could just be the fluid from my ovaries pushing on my stomach.

I'm afraid we are not going to get to transfer tomorrow. Did anyone else have a bad stomach ache after ER?

Anxious - I hear you. As you probably saw, I did the HPT thing, too. Actually twice since they come in those little two-packs that are so convenient for us neurotic women. BOTH showed a faint positive, which is a first for me. Fingers crossed that it's the real deal and not just lingering Ovidrel... But I remember the 2ww negatives. Even if it's so early you know it's going to be negative, it just gets you right in the pit of your stomach.

aspotofTea - I was all messed up by my last ER, particularly the ol' digestive tract. I couldn't pee for about 5 hours and was constipated for two full days. That did NOT feel good! My ovaries also were very, very sore for a few days and still give me a twinge every so often two weeks later. You could be particularly sore because 17 is a decently high number of eggs from what I understand. I got 19 this time around, and my doctor said that I should expect to be a lot more sore than I was the first time I did it when they got 11. So I wouldn't give up hope yet.

aspotofTea - I was miserable after my ER, i tried to go back to work the next day and I lasted about an hour, i had to pull over on my way home to throw up. I had really bad stomach pains, they actually put me on Darvocet for the pain but that made me even more sick. I had 21 eggs retrieved and my RE said the same thing about pain due to so much poking around to get all of the eggs. By 2 days after i really started to feel better though, they did a 3 day transfer and the morning of I still had very minor pain but nothing crazy.

Hopeful: CONGRATS!!!

Molly: Congrats on your ultrasound also. That is so awesome :) My beta is March 10th

tabatha: all they told me about Lupron is to do that in the am. I did follistim in the pm. So i did lupron at 8am and follistim at 10pm. well goodluck. oh and i didn't do the iceing thing some people do. i didn't have too much trouble. I just stayed close to my belly botton within 2 inches. Not above the beely button but to the side and below :) I just rotated each day. Oh and the follistim I noticed if we injected it slowly it didn't hurt :) The lupron was easier just stab and shoot :)

lady J: I don't know how my beta ended up being early, but I'm not doing to question it. I'm glad :) I thought it was going to be the 12th, but they told me the 10th and then my second beta is on the 12th. well sticky baby dust to both of us :) What are your thoughts of HPT's. I can't make up my mind. What day is good to take one or should we not?

aspotoftea: yes I was miserable!! I didn't complain to the clinic though. I was afraid they'd cancel me. I made sure I didn't have a hard time breathing too much. I had trouble takeing big deep breaths. My stomache was so large to me. I felt like a softball was in there and when I sat down it shook. When I moved my stomache hurt and I peed a lot. I drank lots of water and peed a lot more and eventually it faded away. I was very lucky by ET I was like new. Now I feel fabulous. I'm so glad my stomache isn't that bloated. I was haveing trouble eating too. All I could do was lay around. At ET I told the clinic and they said I probly had mild OHSS. I didn't tell them till I felt better. I didn't think it was going to end :) so drink lots of water and don't do like I did. Make sure to tell your doc and keep hydrated and relax. You will pee it out.

Well Im off to go lay down and relax some more. :)
