Ok...got a call saying my BETA was 26000 so that is really good! She said it could still be implantation bleeding or my uterus adjusting or it could still be a sign of impending miscarriage. But, I'm happy my HCG isn't dropping so I'm hoping it's something else. I'm still having some very mild cramping and dark brown spotting...lets hope no more bright spotting!

Kelly~That is super news about your one top-notch embryo! You are halfway there. It must have been relieving and validating to hear that the other 3 they chose not freeze were all abnormal! Now you can understand why they didn't want to freeze them when they seemed to be decent 5-day blasts. That would be a weight off my mind!

I had my second bloodtest today and my level is 675 now. The nurse says that is right on target so I am relieved! I find myself paranoid about miscarriage at this point. I wish I could just relax! Do any of the other preggers feel this way? I thought once I got the BFP i would be permanently walking on air--but I do feel worried. My accupuncturist told me to repeat this affirmation 10x in my head whenever I start to worry, "My baby and I are totally safe."
I feel intensely exhausted and find I need a nap in the afternoon nowadays. And I'm still cramping. But those are pretty much my only symptoms so far. I did eat a whole jar of pickles--but not sure if that counts as I've always been a pickle person!

Sue...no, you never stop worrying! I know with my first, I couldn't relax until I had her in my arms and I was told she was healthy! But, worrying does nothing but add stress so you have to try to put it aside.....at least as much as possible! Nice Beta!!!

I had two 8 cell embies frozen and today they thawed as an 8 and a 4. Both lovely and not fragmented. So very pleased. They are now safetly tucked up inside me. Awesome feeling.

Missy: Great news on your beta!! Some spotting/bleeding is normal with a pregnancy. I had brown spotting with Andrew, and I was panicking too. The doctor thought it was from sex.

I am 45 and just had my first transfer this past tuesday March 3rd. They transferred 2 good quality blastocysts, froze 6.
I am using a donor due to egg quality. I never in a million years thought this was something I would do! great lesson in not judging others.
I had what i am fairly certain was implantation bleeding wednesday night...tiny amount of reddish/pinkish spotting--one time and then stopped.
What i keep wondering is with 2 transferred--is it likely one implanted since that only happened once?

My DH's friend sells medical supplies and he gave me a box of 50 preg tests he sells to doctors. i cant figure out the sensitivity of the tests--and i am SO tempted to try one before my blood test thursday the 12th. Anyone "cheat" with a sensitive urine test?
From miscarrying before--i know the emotional risk of testing too early--but MAN it's hard to wait!

I took the first one the day before my period was due (two days before my blood test) and it was a faint positive. I took the next one the next day and it was even darker!
I had my transfer on Monday, Feb 9th.

I just looked up the sensitivity online for the test i have! talk about OCD--my husband probably wishes he could send me to mars to wait for these results.
why is it so hard for us to wait when we know we will just be waiting for something else after this! AHHHH!

Hello ladies!! Iam so sorry I have been out of touch. We are on a ski holiday and could not get internet connection.

But I can't actually enjoy it, as I have bewen worried sick, and have been spotting for the last two days, I would say more than spotting, enough to have to change panty liners at least a couple of times a day.

Ok ladies looks like I'm finally in the game. Went for my first 3rd cycle day ultrasound and bloodwork this morning. The doc didn't tell me much, they monitor my whole cycle, I have ultrasounds every friday till my next period. Next week I'll find out the results of my bloodwork. Here's what I got so far...day 3..3 follicles, 2 larger and 1 smaller. What does this mean if anything???? Is this a normal number this early in my cycle? And what would be a good number for my next ultrasound? I want to stay ahead of the game and know what I can. The doc just talks in circles and i'm like..huh! Thanks!!!!

Santa...congratulations!!!!! That is wonderful. Spotting is worrisome for sure but they have told me there is nothing for me to do about it except avoid toxins (smoking, drugs, alchohol etc)....it seems to have stopped today which is great and I had to change panty liners several times a day! I go for an ultrasound next Wednesday!!!!!
As for skiing...I curl so what they told me during my 2WW was it was up to me...if for some reason I didn't get pregnant, they didn't want me to say I wonder if it was due to curling. Now that I am pregnant, it seems to be ok to do whatever in terms of exercise so I'm sure you are fine. The placenta doesn't show up until around 10 weeks so your spotting has nothing to do with that and if it did, they would want you to limit exercise so you are probably fine...just take it easy!
