Melanie- Congrats on transferring two good embies. Now they just need to snuggle in, I am sending lots of sticky vibes your way!

Kimbob- I love that you are talking nicely to righty! I hope it works. It sound slike you have others that are ready though and you should be triggering soon, you must be excited! So sorry about your long drive and forgetting all your stuff, I am glad they were still able to see you.

cynthia- I also put my event on the calendar. Nothing exciting for me until april though, just this silly polyp removal on Thursday.'

Sisi- So glad af finally showed up and you can get on your way. So glad you are back.

Latino- I don;t know anything about your protocol, but hopefully you have found some answers.

I know our thread is growing and lots going on, so I will try to keep posting the tracker, I am going to update it and post right after I finish this post.

Well, I wish I could say my weekend has been stress-free like kimbob wanted, but no such luck. And none of it helps my blood pressure. My mom-in-law is dealing with a serious case of depression, she has been for many years now, but last night it elevated to a whole new level. She has been skipping work, not taking meds, sleeping all the time, is disoriented and drinking again. When I talked to her on the phone last night, she was worse than I have ever heard or seen her. I made my husband go see her and he said the same. dh and I both have psychology degrees so we know very well what is going on, and know she is probably suicidal, but honestly, just didn't know what to do. Well she missed work again today and was supposed to come here tonight for dinner so we could all talk, and she never showed up. So I called a babysitter and we went to go get her. She was sleeping and miserable and we told her she was going to the hospital. She resisted a little but then agreed, so dh is at the ER now waiting with her. We live minutes away from Yale New Haven Hospital which is one of the best for mental health, so I really hope they keep her for a couple days and get this all sorted out or atleast on the right track. I am now making alternate arrangements for Ella, b/c we know she is just not capable of being left alone with the baby when I go tutoring. It is so hard b/c our baby is the only thing bringing her joy right now, but it is just not safe to let her babysit. Of course she was supposed to come Thursday for my polyp removal, but we will have to find someone else.

Geez- I guess I needed to vent, thanks for lending a listening ear ladies.

Ok, I am going to post and update our tracker before ella gets cranky and I run out of time. I will talk to you all soon!

Melanie - so, so, so exciting!! I am sending so much sticky baby dust your way!!! Wow - 2 good embies transfered and 11 frosties. You are my hero!
Congratulations and good luck on the 2ww.

That reminds me. I saw another thread talking about the 2WOH. At first I though it was typo, but now I'm wondering if they mean the "2 Weeks Of H - E - double hockey sticks"? I hope it's not really that bad!

Stick, Melanie's embies, stick!

:D

Michele - I'm so sorry about your mom-in-law. I have experienced depression in my family and I know how hard it is. I am glad that you and your dh are so close to her and are able to help her. I hope that the hospital recognizes her need for help and that she can get back on track with treating her depression. I am proud of you and dh for being able to recognize this disease and being able to support her. I wish you all well.

I'm sorry that you have the added stress of needing to find a care giver for Ella. Maybe your polyp removal happening now is actually devine intervention. This is a stressful time for your family now, but maybe things will be a little more settled when it comes time for your cycle.

Your family will be in my thoughts,
Kim

Thanks guys for your support, I knew I could count on all of you. Dh is still not home from er and it is after 10 pm, but I know they are busy on saturdays. I just hope it means they are admitting her, so we can get a break from worrying for a couple of days.

kimbob- maybe it was all meant to happen this way. I even think the polyp removal was meant to be so I could have time to try and fix my blood pressure before getting pregnant again. I hope it all works out. And about the 2woh- it could very well mean 2 weeks of heck (minus the ck add the ll). I really thought it would not effect me because my 2 ww was the 2 weeks before xmas, so I was way busy and I am not an overly emotional person, but it even got to me. If it got to me, it can get to anyone...you just have to try to keep yourself as busy as possible and you will probably spend a lot of time on these boards. I think the worst part is worrying that you might be doing something wrong, like eating something, or moving the wrong way, or sleeping the wrong way. We all have been through so much and want it so bad that the waiting is the worst. We have been waiting for so long, you think 2 weeks wouldn't matter, but it seems like forever.

Well, that is my novel about the 2 week wait, I actually have more I could say about it, especially regarding hpt's, but I don;t want to scare the newbies here anymore than I already have. I will save those conversations for when you all start giving in and POAS. Maybe you are all expecting it to be so bad that now it won;t seem bad at all.

Babymex- Thanks for your kind words and support. And thanks for checking out ella's pics. I happen to also think she is adorable and cute, but I may be a bit bias!

Dh just called, er is packed, mom in law just went in for psych eval. Looks like it will be a long night. Thanks again for the support, hopefully she will be much better in a few days and we can get this all sorted out.

Hi Ladies,

I'm back for another round of IVF. I initially was on the Jan/Feb/March thread but I promised my dear friend CT_Michele to come and join here too

Little about me- I'm 24 with PCOS  lol my DH is 28 and perfect. We did our first IVF last November had 28 mature eggs 23 fertilized and had 2 "perfect" embryos transfered on D3, none took  and none of the rest made it to freeze :( .... I tried a couple of natural cycles which obiously didnt work either and now I'm back at IVF again :D :D :D . This time my RE is trying a totally different protocol which he says should help me in getting a lot better quality embryos, lets hope he's right. I enrolled in the shared risk program so I'll have a try at 3 fresh cycles and 3 frozen cycles for one fee. My insurance doesnt cover anything IVF so I'm out of pocket so this will be my last chance.

I'm on my d15 of my BCPs tomorrow I start Lupron and should get my period between March 16-18 and start stims on the second day of AF, its getting close I'm excited!!!!

Ok I think I rambled enough, I'm happy to share this journey with all of you and hope we will all get our BFPs !!!!

Welcome dys24. We are glad to have you along for the ride with us! I am sure that your RE is right and that you will get some excellent eggs this time. I hope AF comes quickly for you so you can start your new protocol pronto!

Welcome back Carolyn! How was the spa? Four days of rest and pampering! Wow, nice! I think I'm a little envious!

Sisi - that is excellent news! I hope that you get 11 excellent eggies out of the those 11 follies. Have you started stimming?

Babymex - did you ever do any of that cooking you were talking about? How'd it turn out?

Michele, hope the family is keeping well.

Lee - isn't tomorrow a big day for you? Or is it going to be Wed? I'm thinking of you!! xx

I am also always thinking of all you other fabulous ladies, too! I hope everyone's keeping well.

I was a bit sad yesterday. RE says it won't help to talk to righty  . He says someone my age should get about 12 good eggs from a cycle and he figures I'll likely have about 6. :( I know it only takes one good one, but I had these big dreams you see. Guess I shouldn't have done that. But, my PMA is starting to pick up. I keep telling the follies that I have that I love them and I am waiting to meet one (or two  ) of them in about 9 months or so - after they've been through a bit of process of course! (Even if the RE thinks it won't help to talk to them!)
So, I get to trigger tonight at 11 and we go for ER on Wed. at 8. Yup - happy birthday, DH! A least I get a chuckle out of that!

Happy Monday everyone!!

Hi ladies:

Happy to see new friends in our thread. Welcome to all of you.

Kimbob - Thanks for the abbreviations. Someone write me to have PMA and I ask my self "What is that???". So thank you from all of us newbies.

Michelle - Sorry about your MIL, the depression is something hard to the person going through it and for the family. So, rest for the surgery and try to be relax. Put all things in God hands and everything will be ok.

Latino - I thing we are going to have ER in the same date, 03/30. Good luck with the sttims. (ouch)

AFM - I don't know what happened. From last thursday I was feeling sick and ended in the hospital with Gastritis. I was scare because I thought it was my gallblader and said to my DH " oh no!!, my treatment will get cancel because of this". I got very anxious. But, apparently the BCP and the Vitamins (Folbic) were hard for my stomach. I have to go today to my Regular doctor to follow up. Today I am feeling good and praying to God for all this process.

This next thursday I am going to my orientation. I am going to practice the inj in an Orange. My husband says this is a revenge. Two years ago he use some inj to get a high sperm count.

Sorry I couldn't do personals, there are so many ladies here and I get all confuse, but I pray for all of you.

Hi everyone, and welcome to a new week. There's lots going on this week for some of us! Sorry I haven't posted for a little while, I've had an action packed weekend playing golf and being outside in the sunshine. It's still very cold here though - we had sunshine alternating with rain and then hail yesterday!

I've just been reading back and there are so many ladies on this thread now, it's so great. I'm going to try and do personals for the ladies who have been on here since I last posted - apologies if I manage to miss you off by mistake! So here goes...

Michele - you are such an angel updating the list for us all, thank you so much. Your bling always gives me a lift! I'm so sorry to hear about your MIL's troubles over the weekend - did your DH manage to get it sorted OK in the end? Only three days to go until polyp removal and then you can turn your attention to the IVF, that's so fantastic! How is your blood pressure doing now? I'm guessing the situation with your MIL hasn't helped, so I've been sending you lots of extra calming vibes from my side of the pond!

Kim - triggering today, whoopee!! Did righty start behaving itself after you gave it a talking to? I'll admit to having a little chuckle at you feeling sorry for your DH not getting any birthday sex on Wednesday - just tell him that what will arrive in 9 months time as a result of his solo efforts will be the best birthday present ever! PMA!!

Nicole - how did your scan go on Saturday? Do you now have lots of juicy follicles? You could always try Kim's trick of talking to your ovaries!

Biana - not long now until your first ultrasound on 17th March!

Babymex - welcome to the thread. Hope your 2ww has been bearable. Only three days to go until your beta!!

Tabatha1975 - welcome as well.

Milly - have you had any success on the financing? I've been sending you positive vibes!

Latino - I'm afraid I haven't heard of your protocol either. Did you manage to find any answers in the end?

Sisi - yay, AF arrived! So happy for you that your baseline went well and you can start stimming! How is it going?

Melanie - 13 fertilised eggs, that is so great. As I said, you are starting the thread off on a great tone - let us all hope that we do as well as you! I found your information about freezing so interesting - it's fabulous that you now have lots of frozen beauties. I was very amused by your 'other' little bit on information (the constipation thing) - it's certainly a less glamorous side of IVF but where would we all get to hear advice like that if not on these threads??? Keeping everything crossed for you in your 2ww - 18th March will be here before you know it!

Carolyn - welcome home. Are you now so laid back you're horizontal after four days of pampering?

Lee - so exciting, your time is almost here! How are you doing? Are you totally over your horrible illness now?

dys24 - welcome to the thread, we all look forward to getting to know you!

Cynthia - hope AF has shown up now and you can get started on your stims. LOVING the joint IVF calendar, by the way, such a great thing to do in combination with Michele's list. Come on ladies, put all your dates on there too! http://freecal.brownbearsw.com/IVFCycleBuddies

Whew...think that's everyone! As I said, sorry if I've missed people off. I know there are more people than that on our thread but a few seem to be MIA at the moment. If you're reading this, hope you are all OK. Check in with us when you have the time!

AFM, I'm on day 5 of my sniffing and it's going fine. My nose is a bit tingly and I need to blow it more often than normal during the day, but (touch wood) no side effects yet. Just can't wait for my baseline - still got over three weeks to go! DH went off this morning to a work conference (in the south of France, so I don't feel too sorry for him!) and is away until Wednesday night, so I daresay I'll be camped on these boards until then. So speak to you all soon!

Hi everyone, hope you all had a fabulous weekend! AF is FINALLY here!! Yaay! I'm just waiting for my nurse to call me back. She'll probably call during lunch when I'm out with coworkers as usually and we'll play phone tag until this evening :( Anyway, as soon as I get more info on when I can start stimming and when my monitoring visits will start, I'll keep you all posted!

By the way, although I don't always respond to everyone individually (as some of your are SO good at) I do THOROUGHLY enjoy reading all of your post! You ladies are so great and I learn so much from you. Thank you!! :D

wow- i have some catching up to do!

cymplicity-so glad af showed up. let us know your schedule as soon as you here.

hjw- your right, mom in law is not helping my bp, especially since i feel a lot of the pressure is on me to stay on top of her and the drs. dh is at work and boys are just not as good as us ladies when it comes to that stuff. glad to hear your sniffing is going well, and go ahead and camp away on the boards. i will be around to post with you.

sari- so sorry to hear you were in the hospital. isn't it crazy that when something medical happens instead of thinking of our own health we are concerned with our cycles? hopefully they got your tummy all sorted out.

kimbob- yay! happy triggering and drug free day tomorrow. And i think you should keep talking to your righty and all those follies. I am a bit suprised about the avg numbers your dr said. When i went for my first ivf, i only had 9 eggs and according to our bios i think i am about 9 yrs younger than you. We were also male factor, so no reproductive hurdles on my end, so i thought my numbers were normal, or atleast they didn't tell me they weren't. just know that it only takes one, so keep up the pma!

dys-so glad you joined us, i know you will love everyone here, they are awesome.

wishful- i am so jealous of the 4 days of pampering, that must have been great. Wifely duties...ugh...i should be doing those too...but i'm not

thank you all for the thoughts and prayers for my mil. Still not much news about her, just a lot of hurdles. She is still in the hospital and has a bunch of tests today, hopefully we will know more later, and might go see her tonight depending on how she is feeling. the depression is bad enough, but of course with severe depression usually copme alcohol abuse which leads to liver damage, which is what we are dealing with now. All i know is that we made the right decision to bring her in and hopefully when she comes home there will be a good treatment plan in place.

ok, i am going to update our list. i will put the link to the shared online calendar that cynthia made at the bottom too so it is easy to find for
anyone who wants to use it.

talk to you all soon
