Ok, so after me calling one billion times, I found out the amnio was clean, but they only tested 15 cells (they were supposed to test 50 since the marker was in 1/25 cells).

So I am happy, but I will try to get the actual DOCTOR tomorrow to ask about getting more cells tested (I hope its not too late)!

that's great news lynnie and chris! woohoo 6 follies- that beer worked. and lynnie, i'm so happy for your news about the baby..sounds like everything is going to be fine. let us know what the dr. says tomorrow about further tests.

babyhope, i've been shopping too, and researching shopping also. i only have 1 to buy for and it feels complicated! it seems easy to get out of hand with buying..and tempting to go new instead of used, but i'm trying to be sensible.

i totally look pregnant today- it's crazy. i love it but can't stop looking at my stomach in the mirror- i can't believe it's finally so real! plus the baby moves alot and i love that too.

hi wonder, NY, gina, JDC, kas, wishing.and sara- how nice of you to drop in, thanks for your congratulations :D

much love, karen

hi guys

thought i would just touch base.

Lynnie congrats what a relief..

Karen glad to hear you sounding so happy!!

Chris congrats on what sounds like a great cycle so far..For anyone i missed i am watching all of you..

As for me i had my first US yesterday after 6 days of stims. I had 11 measurable follies mostly 10mm a few 9s and 8s... my guess is based on past experience i will trigger sat for moday ER.. I am freezing this time and then probably doing CGH so no ET for me this time.. somehow its alot less stressfull this way. I am hoping that lowering my dose will get better quality.. we will see..

Ladies,

I just typed out one of my long rambling posts to you all and due to the power cord coming out of the laptop, it shut off and i lost it all.

Sorry, i just dont have the heart to do them all again right now and i do need to cook some food as DH will be home in an hour, so this is the new condensed version... sorry

babyhope - love the bargins, i found lots on ebay, but i havent bought anything yet. ANy more ideas for cheap buys anyone?

NY - Glad you are cycling so well, you always seem to get a great number of follies, and about the less meds=better quality, thats what my RE thinks, i was freaking out last cycle as i only took menopur, and last cycle i took menopur and follisitm and ganirelix. He suggested i would do better on less and he was right... so glad you are here with us still...

Lynnie - woohoo on the results....i know you will be finding out about more testing if not too late, but if you cant dont worry - your little girl got the all clear and i can only imagine how fantastic that must feel

Chris - see, all those follies needed was a little encouragement!!! Sounds like you will have plenty of slow and steady quality eggs in there!!! just love the black hole

Karen - I had a co-worker Nathan - he was the kindest sweetest guy, so love the name, for me it symbolises a really big heart....

Wonder - glad you like the safe photosharing idea... will update

love to all, oh yeah, seems i have carpel tunnel but will elaborate tomorrow :D

I'm sooo not wanting to be at work this morning. Feeling a bit groggy today and didn't sleep too well last night. The good news is, it's going to be 80 here today! I'm ready for summer. Anyone else?

Chris, I didn't know follies liked beer. :D Glad to hear your's did and now it sounds like they're well on their way. Any idea when you might trigger yet? Wow, the big one sounds huge! Do you feel any discomfort?

Babyhope, you got some great bargains. I guess I need to check out craigslist. I feel fortunate too that I have several girlfriends who have all offered to loan me different things they no longer use. I feel a bit hesitant to borrow since they may have more children one day, but they almost seem insistent. That stinks about the big bruise on your arm. You're so right, fertility patients have the most patience!

Yeah Lynnie! You must be so relieved to finally get the results and all is well! Were you able to speak with your doc yet? It's so easy to let the stress get the best of you, or at least it did me. Glad to hear your good news.

Karen, the movement really is a wonderful feeling huh? I keep trying to catch my baby girl when she's moving so DH can see but she always seems to stop. As they get bigger, I'm sure the feeling is even more surreal. Any idea how far along before they are in their final position?

Hi NY! It's good to hear from you and your follie count sounds great. And glad you are feeling less stressed this time since you won't be having ET. The less stress the better. So if you freeze, when would you actually do the ET? Did you mention you would do a couple of cycles and freeze them, then transfer?

Kas, I hate when I type a long post and lose it! Does the carpal tunnel seem worse when you're on your computer a lot? I'm excited about the photo sharing. I wish I were more technical and could help you set it up. Let me know and I can try.

Wonderence - I wish it was 80 here. Actually it was yesterday and now the high today is 43. I just can't wait for it to warm up. I love the Spring.

Kas - I thought that I heard that during pregnancy that a lot of ladies develop corporal tunnel. Don't type so much.

Karen - Glad to see that you are doing good. Seems that you are relaxing and enjoying your pregnancy a little more.

NY - Congrats on your 11 follies. Keeping my fingers crossed that the less drugs help the follies. Maybe the less stress will also help a little. So are you going to be doing another cycle right after you get AF from this cycle?

babyhope - Glad to see you are finding some bargains. I already plan on hitting up all my friends and family members that are done having kids. My BF has been holding stuff for me for 5 years now. I will take all the hammy downs I can get.

AFM - Went for u/s again. I now have 8 measurable follies, they range from 12 to 19.5. I figure I will stay on stims for at least one more day so that the smaller ones can catch up. So hopefully trigger Thursday or Friday. I am so sick of these drugs and my right ovary is killing me. Besides my huge 44mm follie, I also have a 15mm and a 12mm growing in my right. There is only so much room in there. Would love to trigger on Thursday but I am also going to the hockey game Thursday night so do not know how I will be able to trigger during the hockey game. I guess I will figure out something if that happens.

Hope everyone has a good day.

oh and here is a funny for the day --

Chris,

I had a ticket to the San Francisco Ballet to see the Nutcracker on December 12th. It had been planned for months and since I was TTC I offered to drive a group of friends there (we live an hour away) since I wouldn't be driinking.

Remember, this was my IUI so trigger wasn't as important for the timing. I was to trigger that night between 7-9 pm, the exact time of the show. They told me to trigger early but I wanted to give them a little more time to grow.

It was packed as heck during intermission so I stayed in my seat, 8pm. Then afterward at a restaurant I took my purse to the restroom and within one of those blue bendable icepacks I had my shot all rolled up in there ready to go. It was Ovedril so they are preloaded. Anyway, I gave myself a shot in the restaurant in the bathroom. I am glad they didn't check my purse on the way into the show however a Rx shouldn't be taken away! Anyway, the creativity worked for me and my friends never knew the difference.

Babyhope1 - Thanks, I think I am going to do about the same thing. A girl on another thread was told that the Ovidrel could last 30 days without being refrigerated. The reason they keep it cold is because it will last longer. So I am going to ask my nurse if I have to keep it cold. It will make it easier if I don't. If not I will just put an ice pack with it and stuff it in my coat. Not the best circumstances but it will work.

Went for U/S and B/W today. I still have 8 follies. One is only at 12 so I don't think that will be mature enough by ER. Oh well, in the end I just want 3 good quality embies that I can do a 3 day transfer. I still have my 44mm follicle. It hasn't grown in a few days. The U/S tech gave me pictures of it today. So I should be triggering tonight with ER on Sat. YEAH!!!!

oh NY and chris i'm getting very excited for you both! i had to do one of my shots in a restaurant bathroom while we were in vancouver for treatment..i also had to do several on the ferry over to vancouver! that was uncomfortable as i had to mix up vials and i some people saw me do this and either thought i was strange or a very well put-together looking druggie. (ps. they sell mini ice packs that aren't too cumbersome to pack)

so NY- when are you likely to do FET? and both of you are getting good #'s of eggs- so that's great. NY, i know you usually get lots- but maybe this will be the clincher in bringing a baby to fruition.

babyhope, wonder, gina and lynnie. lynnie- hope to hear an update soon- thinking of you.
kas. hope your carpal tunnel clears up..what's causing it? pregnancy?

wonder- i'm jealous of your weather! it's been unusually cold here on vancouver island- it's never warm like 80 in march, but we had snow on the weekend! (yuck), and it's been very cold. yes- my dh keeps trying to catch our boy moving around too, he's got lucky a few times. now the movements are much stronger and it makes me crack up laughing when there's lots of moving.

as for me, i'm obsessed with baby shopping ideas (not many purchases yet- just online researching and looking). every time the baby moves i feel so happy and reassured. i'm registering for some baby classes today and getting in contact with some birth doulas, as i want to hire one to support us through the labour process.

Yeah Chris! Did you trigger last night? How did it work out with your hockey game? I remember taking my meds with me in a cooler on Halloween 2007 to a friend's costume party and going in the bathroom to do my shots. It worked and no one even realized! So is your ER definitely tomorrow?

Hi Babyhope. How are you feeling?

NY, congrats on a good follie report! Wow, you really produce a lot of them. So it looks like you and Chris may both go for ER this weekend. Good luck!

Karen, our nice weather here yesterday is gone already. It's gloomy and in the 50's. I guess it could be worse but I'm really ready for spring/summer! Yes, the movement makes me laugh too. I tried to figure out if she seems more active at certain times of the day, but it's pretty sporadic. I also played her some lullabies from my ipod a couple of weekends ago. Hopefully it didn't keep her awake! My neighbor had a doula and a midwife. She really enjoyed having the extra support. Good luck in your search!

Hi Lynnie, Gina, Kas...hope everyone is doing well and getting ready for the weekend! DH and I are going to a baby expo tomorrow and then I go with a couple of girlfriends to register on Sunday. It should be fun to finally start looking at some things.

I triggered last night so ER will be on Saturday, 730 am. YEAH!!!!

NY - Gosh even when they try to cut back on your meds, you still have tons of follicles. Good luck. Will be thinking about you.

Kas - Good luck on your move. I hate moving. We will be patiently waiting for you to be back online. So where at in Florida or you moving to?

So all you PG ladies, have you figured out names for your little one(s)?

Hope Everyone has a good weekend. I decided to start mine early and take off the day. My insides feel like they are going to explode and I knew I would just be uncomfortable all day long and wouldn't get any work done. I think i am just going to sit back and do nothing all day.
