Hi ladies (and BIGREDIOWAN)! Glad to hear from y'all. All is well here. In my second trimester now. It's spooky feeling so much better! It can freak me out if I think about it enough. LOL. I am finally needing maternity clothes and started using the tummy butter to help alleviate any stretch marks that may be coming. I'm still not sleeping through the night and toss and turn. I am using an Utterly Yours cube maternity pillow and I like it most of the time. Other than that, I am eating and peeing every 2 hours! How are everyone else's symptoms?
Hi Foreverlove and Cocosmomma. I am with you ladies in being so glad the m/s is gone! I still gag once in a while but havent thrown up in over a week. I am sooo tired all the time! I'm glad DH has been picking up the slack around the house because I have no energy to do anything after work. All my pants are now maternity but I still wear some of my regular tops...they show off my baby bump more! lol
I was wondering when the other ladies pregnant with twins, who work full time, were planning on starting their materinity leave. I was thinking June 1st so I'll have 2 months to just relax and make sure they stay on the inside!
Hope to hear from everyone else soon!!

Well the m/s is gone but had a really bad stomach virus and had to go in for Iv fluids. They said the baby is fine even though I felt on the edge of my death bed with that virus, I really thought it was food pois.
I am sure we are all breathing a sigh of relief that we made it to the 2nd tri.

Alright, I was trying not to worry about this, but I've got to ask the other twin mommies out there. Are you really really showing yet? I am showing some, but people always look at me shocked when I tell them I am 4 months pregnant with twins. They can't believe it. Now I am not saying I want to be the size of a house, but it is disconcerting to me that my size is so shocking. I think I am big, but I've never been pregnant before so what do I know?! Even a friend of mine who had twins can't believe I am the size I am. it makes me nervous.
Anyone else out there in my same boat? I know Bigrediowans wife is.
My wife still isn't showing that much, but she can feel them moving in there. Our OB said to not worry about that right now as that'll come with time. I think with the first pregnancy you won't show as fast, but as you have more children you'll show quicker as things aren't as "tight" in your midsection. I'm nervous about it, but I guess I need to relax and just wait for the next appt.
Destiny is not a matter of chance, it's a matter of choice.
Coco - I wouldnt worry I think everyone is going to show differently depending on their body type. I am almost 4 months with twins and I think I look like I'm 5 months with one. I'm sure you will "pop" soon!
Bigrediowan - How far along is your wife? I am 15 weeks today and could of swore I felt a baby move this morning but I feel like it would be too early and I'm just imagining it!
Has anyone else felt any movement??

I started showing immediately, however learned I had an extremely enlarged ovary and that was all it was. The progesterone that was sustaining the pregnancy was sustaining cysts and the ovary. As the placenta takes over late 1st trimester they should go down and they have but just a little.
I am extremely slim and "show" after a large lunch let alone with an enlarged ovary (140mm the size of a softball) ! So, I started showing about week 12, pants unbuttoned about week 9-10 and much more comfortable maternity clothing in weeks 10-11. I wouldn't worry about it because you most likely don't have the added complictions I do. That is a really good thing!

My wife is just over 15 weeks and will be 16 weeks this Saturday. She says they feel like little flutters that she's never felt before. So she doesn't feel huge movements just the little flutters. She feels them especially when she has to use the restroom, is hungry, and if we play upbeat music.

Awesome news on your twin boys coco as that's what we're having. Congrats on the boy and girl annie. With my wife coming up on 17 weeks she is feeling the movements even stronger now. She's starting to show finally and is gaining a little bit of weight, only 3 or 4 lbs or so. However, she is already uncomfortable and she has a ways to go.
