Yaay Lee!!! That is sooo exciting! :D I know grading scales are different at different clinics but grade 10 sounds like it's really good?! ...putting your legs in the air...hilarious! Looks like I'll probably have my ER when you take your prego test. Never a dull moment here!

The nurse just called and said my estadiol level is low at 21 which is good. Full "stim" ahead! :D

Lee - yeah, you keep your legs up there!! Sticky baby dust headed your way!

Sisi - I'm just as confused as you. I hope the others were just a little scan shy today and they'll pop up for the next scan. At least you didn't get cancelled, right?!

Cynthia - 'full stim ahead'!!  Congrats!

Michele - good luck tomorrow.

Sari - this week will fly by and you'll be going 'full stim', too!

Melanie - It wasn't much of a dream, I was just doing my morning reading and you posted that you were BFP. We were all so excited for you! I woke up thinking it was true, though!
At the clinic today, they were telling me that OHSS gets worse in the week after ER and even after ET. They said that it can take up to 1 month for your ovaries to return to their usual size. AND, they said that it can take even longer if you are pregnant. Have you spoken to your clinic about OHSS? The sheet they gave me says that moderate symptoms include vomiting and diarrhea, clothes becoming very tight and weight gain of greater than 2 pounds a day. Do you have anything other than the diarrhea as a symptom? They did recommend drinking "gatorade" and "ensure" to help correct fluid imbalance. I hope you start to feel better soon!

AFM - the hardest part of ER was getting the IV put in. I have my mom's small veins and they like to disappear once you try to get a line in them! It took two nurses two tries, but finally it was done. There was a bit of discomfort for ER part, but not too bad. The drugs are good! I couldn't actually keep count of the follies they took out, but I was hoping there'd be 8 eggs. But alas, there were only 6 as the RE had thought there would be. They will ICSI them up for us today and then will call late tomorrow afternoon to give us the fert. report. I have been sleeping most of the day and I'm off to watch a movie with DH now.

Take care ladies,
Kim

 Hey Girls- Hope your having a good day. I actually feel a little less bloated today, and my GI stuff is completely gone. I read my Crinone pamphlet and some of the common side effects are bloating and abdominal pain, diarrhea, etc. so I'm kinda thinking that's what the culprit may be. I hope as I get more used to it, it will get better. If not, I'm going to something else. I figure I still have a lot of swelling and bloating from the ER, and with time it will get better. I have no problems passing urine or breathing, so I don't think it's OHSS thank God after reading what
Sara went through. All I can say is bless your heart. At least you got a little miracle for all that you went through.
 Babymex- Please let us know your beta tomorrow, or if you have other news. I know it can be hard to share things like this, but we are here for you either way it goes. I'll keep my fingers crossed :P
 Lee: the funny thing is, if the doctor said "You must go home and lay on the floor with your legs propped up on your wall for at least the first 4 hours" we would all be laying there with our legs up in the air. And not in a way our dh's ever fantasized-HaHa 8)
 Sisi- this is my first cycle, so can't say I've heard of that. It sounds strange to me though. What did your RE say? He had to have an idea of what was going on. Let us know if you find anything out. Hang in there though, you still have plenty of time to make those follies grow. Remember to do your visualizing.
 Michelle- Best of luck to you. Take advantage of the time to kick your feet up for a few days. Hope your recovery is quick, and painless. Remember what I said about pain meds constipating you and take the proper precautions. BTW-Thanks for answering my question about the bloating. It's nice that we can all help each other out.
 Kim- Sorry to hear about your IV fiasco  Aren't they just so much fun- NOT! I think it's great that you got 6 embies  I send whatever dust you need for them to fertilize? Not sure which will work, but maybe they don't really care and like any kind of dust  Take care of yourself and give yourself time to heal.
 Lee- Excited for you about wonderful ET. What is your clinics grading scale? 10 does sound great though. Best of luck and welcome to the 2ww club with me :D
 Cynthia- Great news about your visit with RE. Your lucky, I had full on, day 1 heavy flow when I had my u/s  I am a little confused how they saw all those follicles if you haven't started stimming yet? Or are you stimming, maybe I'm confused? I am new at this. Either way, best of luck to you
 Sari-So glad your starting soon. It is exciting. I lucked out and didn't have to wait very long for my doctor to let me start.
If you enjoy the visualizing and meditation, you may enjoy a cd you can buy at http://www.anjionline.com/. I read good things about it, and she has some free mp3's that you can download. I haven't used her cd, but on other forums I saw when I was surfing, it was highly recommended. The cd is $30 though, which I thought was a bit pricey, but she has specific ones for IVF and even the different stages of it. Keep up the visualizing for your baby :)
 Lionoe- Did you have your ER today? Hope you did and that it was a super duper success. Let us know how it went for you and take care of yourself.

 Well I'm going to run, have been at this for way to long-lol. I have been procrastinating on other stuff I have to do, and this is way more fun.
Talk to you all again soon, Melanie

Hi everyone, just a quickie from me. DH and I are off for a long weekend away - we're hiring a cottage with my parents and my aunt so that we can all visit my godmother and her husband, who isn't very well. Should be a nice weekend - we're going to be near the south west coast so we're planning a few nice walks on the beach with the dogs. Apparently the cottage has internet access but I'm told that it is slow and temperamental, so although DH is taking his laptop I'm not sure whether I'm going to be able to check in on our thread before I get back. Be assured - if I can, I will!!! I can't imagine 5 long days without hearing from all you lovely ladies...

So a few quick personals before I go and pack the car:

Kim - I'm pleased to hear ER was largely pain free, some discomfort I guess we can all handle and I hope it is only that for me as well! I know you must be disappointed with 6 eggs but it only takes one! Hope you get lots of lovely high grade embies after the clinic have done their magic with ICSI.

Nicole - hope your ER yesterday went smoothly for you and we can't wait to hear your news.

Lee - yay, double yay and triple yay (I know you liked my triple yay from before!), you're officially now PUPO!!! Have a good rest over the weekend and make sure you take care of yourself! As everyone else has said, grade 10 embryos sounds good to me even though I'm not sure what it means!

Melanie - I'm so pleased to hear that your abdomen feels a bit better, that is such a relief. Just you make sure you take care of yourself as well! Not long to go now...

Sari - your time is coming soon, that's so exciting.

Sisi - I've never heard of your "lost follies syndrome", but as Kim said hopefully the others were just a little camera shy and will reappear soon.

Cynthia - so happy that your u/s and b/w went well and that it wasn't yucky! It's all starting for you now - that's so great! Good luck on Saturday when you start the stims. 24th March will be here before you know it!

Michele - I'm so sorry to hear that your MIL still isn't settled, that is such a tough situaion for you and DH. You are in my thoughts today, hope the operation is going smoothly.

Babymex - beta today. Thinking of you lots!!

Finally, Hope2beamummy, welcome to our thread. You are going to love everyone on here!

That's all from me, folks. Speak to you next Monday if I can't manage to get on here before then. Take care everyone!

Hi Ladies, thank you for all for your warm welcome :D and sorry for posting so late, its been so busy.

cymplicity27- congrats on starting stims, before you know it you'll be finished and doing your ER Good Luck!!!

Sara30- congrats on being PUPO!!! you'r officially in the dreaded 2ww :D :D

Sisi1- thats seems so strange, but maybe the person who did your u/s didnt know how to do it. I've had that happened last time it was some new nurse and she miscounted and messed up all my measurements :? , when are you having the next u/s done?

kimbob- 6 eggs is still good!! it only takes 1, and its better to have quality over quantity . I too have veins that disappear when they trying to poke them lol   at my last ER they had to "dig" forever ouchhhh :x

hope2beamummy- welcome to the board!! :D :D

Ct_Michele- I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you today. It's 8 am here in the good old CT  you should be going in anytime soon, let us know how it went.

AFM I've been on Lupron for 3 days now and will take my last BCP on Sunday yeyyyy!!! Should get my AF within 2-3 days and hopefully start stims around thursday... can't wait :D :D I'm so glad its thursday 1 more day and its the weekend!!!!! 8) 8)

Sorry to jump on your thread.

 CT_Michelle - Hope your polyp removal went OK today. When can you start your cycle again?

 Sis1 - Like PP said, I am wondering if either the tech you had today or on Sunday, that one of them made a mistake. I know that follicles can disappear but I wouldn't think that that many would disappear. Glad to see that you are cycling again.

Hi Ladies,
Just posting my daily update:

Melanie I'm glad you are feeling better today. Hope yout GI issues go away completely now. :D I hope the 2WW is treating you well and you're not going too crazy. More sticky baby dust to you!

Michele I'm thinking of you today. I'm sure by now that polyp is all gone. Now you can focus on getting ready to start stimming. I hope that both you and DH will be able to get some well deserved rest once MIL gets sorted properly. It's a tough situation you're in and my heart is with you guys. :D

hope2beamummy welcome! We are glad to have you with us. :D

Hazel I hope you have a great time at the cottage. Even if you can't get to us while you're away - we'll still be here when you get back! I just hope you get to relax and enjoy the getaway!

dys24 I'll be doing the AF dance for you so you can get atrted stimming ASAP! :D

latinosunshine it's good to hear (well, read) from you again. I'm sorry it's so busy at work. I hope it's at least helping the time pass quickly. Only a few more days of BCP - Yeah! I hope you and DH are alright. THis is a very stressful process - hang in there! :D

to_have_fun08 you can crash anytime you like! I see from the Jan/Feb/Mar thread that you get to trigger tonight. Congrats - it's about time you had your turn. :D

Sisi I hope those missing follies are growing like mad so they will not be missed on your next scan. Grow follies, grow! :D

Lee I hope you are resting well - legs up or otherwise!

Sorry ladies - I thought this would be a short post, but I just don't seem to have it in me. I'm an all or nothing kind of gal, I guess. I will try to learn to be brief!

AFM - got the fert report. Of the 6 eggs, 4 fertilized and are at the 1 cell stage. He said it's most likely I'd have a 3dt, which means Saturday. I'll let you know what they say when they call again tomorrow.

Hey Everyone!

I can't believe how many of you were thinking of me today, that's so nice. Well, the polyp is gone...yay! It was horrible getting to the hospital, we were almost a half hour late, which killed my blood pressure. The signs off the highway were horrible and then they kept sending me to the wrong place for surgery...but I finally made it and with time to spare.

I was pretty nauseous from the anesthesia. I had to do everything in my power to eat some crackers and gingerale so they would let me go home. RE said everything went great and I will now wait for af, then start bcp and should be good for april, I just hope af comes in enough time. Not really any pain from the surgery, I took a precautionary ibuprofen, but don't even think I needed it, it was really just upset tummy and after a long afternoon nap in my own bed and an egg sandwich, I feel good to go.

Kimbob- mil is still in limbo but thanks for the well wishes. She is ready to be transferred from medical to psychiatry but they have to wait for a bed to open up. 4 fertilized is good, I will be sending buckets of sticky dust your way for ET.

tohavefun- don't worry about jumping on our thread, you are definitely welcome here. I hope to cycle in april. Are you cycling soon? I remember you from the earlier thread, just don't remember your story. I would love to add you to our list, just give me some dates and I will put you up there.

latino- yay for almost being done with bcp's. You must be excited to get going. IVF is no walk in the park, that's for sure, so try not to let the stress get to you too much....maybe a date night is in order.

dys- Thanks for thinking of me. At 8 am our time I was trying to bring my bp down from running all over bridgeport hospital...I hope I never have to go there again. How are those lupron shots going? I can't believe you are starting stims so soon girl! I really hope we both get our bfp's.

hjw- I am definitely jealous of getting away to a cottage, so nice. We will miss you, but sometimes 5 days away from the computer might do us all some good.

hope2be- glad you came over here, there are so many nice women here. You and I will probably be cycling close together. I won't be starting stims until april 10, and we are in similar situations, I am 27, dh 32, male foactor. Does dh need to do TESE too?

Esperanza- My dear friend...thank you so much for checking on me. You are awesome. How is that little ballerina doing in your tummy? She is coming soon...I bet you can't wait!

babymex- did you have beta? Your our first one and we are sending bfp vibes your way.

Lee- Do you still have your legs up? haha...too funny.

Melanie- Thanks for the tip about the pain meds and constipation. So far so good, since I have not taken any pain meds they prescribed. I don;t think I will need them, but I have some colace close by just in case I do. Glad to hear your bloating is going down.

sisi- when do you have your next u/s for follie count? I am curious to see what happens and if the others reappear.

cymplicity- Yay for full stim ahead. That is a great feeling when you get the all clear...just a couple days till you start right?

Ok, I think I got most of you...but may have missed a few...sprout..where have you been?? Ok, I will check on you all again later, I am going to update our list...talk to you all soon... :D
