oh Lady J, I'm so, so sorry. All day I was checking to see your news, and I was pulling really hard for your BFP. I'm really sorry to hear this cycle did not work. You have been such a huge supporter of all us on this board, I'm sure you know that we are all here for you.
lady J: I'm so sorry to hear your news. Poor thing!!! I know how you feel. This process is ridiculously rough on us ladies. My DH and I decided to take a break. When we got our BFN we were devistated (i'm sure like everyone else on here). We are still haveing a really hard time with it. We decided to put our next steps on hold till we get over this. Thank you to everyone here who supported me and everyone how said all the nice things after I got my BFN. I read them on here. I was too hurt to write back at the time. I was thanking you guys at the moment though.
To everyone else who doesn't have there results yet, you gotta look at Lady J's board. The next one has to be a BFP. The odds of another BFN does not go with the flow of the chart
I'll still be here reading and when I feel strong I'll type some messages
I'm 26 -DH 27
We just found out we have an egg quality issue
Low count, motility
4 insem
Our First IVF with ICSI
FEB/MARCH- BFN :(
Forgive me I don't know all the lingo on here yet :)
Lady_j - My heart goes out to you as well. I know it sucks and hurts so much. It just isn't fair. You deserve to be PG. Taking some time off should be good. I know I tried to do that and my break didn't last that long. As far as switching RE's, I would say go for it. I did that back in December, same clinic but different RE. Have fun dancing and drinking. Drink some for me . I will always be here for your support. I am addicted to the boards and will probably never leave. Wishing you the best of luck.
Tabatha - I wouldn't stress over the lupron. Maybe your Re is just doing a different protocol. What other drugs will you be taking.
AFM - I triggered at 730 last night at the hockey game. I learned from another IVF lady that the Ovidrel can be kept un-refrigerated for 30 days so that made it easier to take smuggle my shot into the game. I will have ER on Saturday at 730 am. Gosh they won't even let me sleep in. Oh well, I feel like my insides are gonna explode so I rather have it done early.
Hope everyone has a good weekend. I will try and catch up on personals later.
to_have_fun - so happy you finally got to trigger! That is true about the Ovidrel. My first go round with it they sent me two instead of one and I needed to send one back. I asked if it needed to be sent back with a cold pack but nope, good for 30 days uncooled. Good luck with your ER tomorrow. Sucks that it's so early, but so nice to be the first one in. I was first this time around and they were actually on time!
ASM, just hanging out until next week, trying my darndest to keep DD from getting sick before surgery on Thursday. So far so good, though I have probably put hand sanitizer on her hands more in the past week than the entire year we've had her! She already had her surgery postponed once due to illness and I am trying so hard to not let that happen again. The good news is that we live in Florida and the weather has been amazing lately. It's supposed to stay nice (no crazy up an downs in temps...highs in the 70's & 80's) through her surgery, so that's good. Hoping the sun will kill off all the infections out there and that none of us pick up anything and give it to her.
So this time next week I hope to be sitting next to her in the hospital as she recovers and get a call telling me about a BFP. That would be nice...
Hi guys,
Just wanted to let you know that I'm home from the transfer and feeling pretty good. We transferred 2 beautiful blasts - 1 AA and 1 BA. One of them was already starting to hatch. Hope that's a good sign. So, I'm officially in the 2 WW. Beta test is Mar 23. Keep your fingers crossed.
Thanks!
-Robin
P.S. LadyJ - I'm sooooo sorry to hear your news. I wish you strength at this time. Rosario - So sorry to hear your news as well. Everyone else, I'm sorry if I missed any other news. Had to skip a few pages so I could go back to resting...
me 38: no problems
dh 43: low motility, morphology
IVF #1 (Nov 08 ): BFP! - 2 xfer'd, 4 cyro. Ended in M/C at 8 weeks.
FET #1 (Mar 09): BFN - 2 xfer'd, 2 left.
Awwl Lady J I am so sorry, and my heart goes out to you. Take that break and enjoy your summer. I am sure once you get your other medical stuff out of the way you will get your BFP. Good luck with your ovulation monitoring.
well how is everyone doing it seems like the board got really quiet, i'm on day 2 of stims wow what pressue build up, how many days do you mormally take stims? i'm on 300 gonal-f per day, how fast do they grow?
tabatha - Everyone stims for different times. All depends on how you respond to the meds. I think the average is 10 to 14 days to stim. You don't want to stim too quickly because that will mess with egg quality.
AFM - I am pretty disappointed, they only retrieved 2 eggs. Don't know why, I don't care anymore. Hopefully both will fertilize. I know it only takes one but it is just so frustrating.

Chris: I'm so sorry! I will pray that both fertilize and become top quality embryos. I don't blame you for being frustrated, you've been on this journey such a long time. I will have PMA for you, if you're unable to muster any right now.
robin: Congrats on your transfer! Lots of sticky babydust to you!
CAFirst: I'm so sorry for your BFN, hun.
AFM- I'm anxiously awaiting my US on March 23rd. My first beta was 237 and the second was 429. Didn't completely double in 48 hours, but RE was pleased anyway. Other than that, I'm peeing and eating constantly. The abdominal bloating seems to have gone away. I get a little queasy if I don't eat every 3 hours.
Chris~I am so sorry they only got 2! What the heck?! But please keep hope alive. I know it can get annoying to keep hearing "it only takes one" but it is true! And this is coming from a girl who only had 2 viable eggs this time around. I will be praying for you.
Nursegator~I am anxiously awaiting my ultrasound too. I think I've done too much Googling and uncovered too many horror stores about blighted ovams and such! I am getting really scared. You are lucky yours is so soon--I still have to wait nearly 2 weeks for mine! (we dont do ultraouns until 7.5 weeks here in NZ)
Robin~Congrats on your transfer. Sit back and be good to yourself for the next 2 weeks.

tabatha~I stim really quickly--but it is different for each person. My first round i stimmed in 6 days which was bad cause the eggs were bad quality. my second and third rounds I stimmed in 8 days which is still quick--but much better. i've heard about some ladies on these boards stimming for 15+ days! It varies a lot.

to_have_fun08 Congrats. I am so happy for you. I know AF should be showing her face any day now and to honestly tell you this is when I should have started my next IVF, but I am not going for it because of all thats going on. Yes I am still with DH because somehow I still have hope for us. I love him I really do. I am just going to wait for April's AF to see I go for another IVF. I can't wait until you are in the 2ww. Everyone, thanks for all the sticky baby dust! This wait is sooo hard! Go in for b/w tomorrow just to check hormone levels. I keep trying to see if this is how I felt last time but it's no use. I can't remember. I think they should be implanting today but haven't had any implementation bleeding yet. Does everybody get that? I don't think had it last time but I don't remember.
