pregnant , got into a car accident

hi all,
I am 7 weeks pregnant after IVf, unfortunately got into a car accident yesterday, i didnot get hurt but I am worried about having a miscarriage as a result of impact from the collision, does any one have any similar stories to share? any feed back is much appreciated.

i was about 9 weeks pg with 1st dd when the meds made me faint in shower and i hit my stomache on the bath tub side wall hard. i bruised.. Shes fine and is 4yrs old. Dr told me our bodies are ment to protect them

I've got a doozy. My little sister got hit by a car crossing the street at 6 weeks pregnant. She was thrown about 20 feet, shattered her pelvis, broke a vertebre in her neck and was in the hospital for months of therepy.

My nephew was born 9 months later a perfectly healthy baby and is thriving to this day.

I hope you accident wasn't as bad as that. The babies are more well protected then we could ever imagine. Get checked out but try not to worry too much. Hope all is well and CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!

Hi sweethoney- Did you go get checked out? A while back I read online about a young woman who did not know she was pregnant and had a severe skydiving accident. She was lucky to survive the accident herself. She found out she was pregnant when she was in the emergency room after her parachute and back up chute malfunctioned. The baby survived the fall as well as four surgeries! I hope everything works out ok for you. Keep us posted.
