effects from pio shots

have any of you had gas/constipation pains from the pio shots? mine started yesterday after my transfer, and my doctor assures me it's normal. however, none of my friends who have done ivf had this occur. i'd feel a lot better knowing it's happening to someone else!!

I have definitely had major gas pains (though little gas and no constipation) this time around. They started shortly after ER, right before ET (started PIO the evening of ER). I didn't have these last time around and was so confused as to why it was happening. Just read tonight that it's a side affect of the progesterone. I am now 6dp5dt and they are just now starting to subside. I stopped the shots the day of ET and started with the suppositories twice a day. So it's still here a little, but not as bad.
