debra, i don't know specifically about after fet but i suspect it's the same now as a natural conception. anything i've read says that sex is ok during pregnancy. i had my 1st scan on the day of my positive result so felt ok about it. maybe if i'd had to wait longer for the first scan i'd have felt differently. sorry i cant give you a definitive answer.

hi Debra

I was told not until after 8 weeks - but I can honestly say, by then I was chucking up so badly it was the last thing on my mind! And by the time the chucking up stops I felt too pg to do anything.......lol.

I'm now too huge for it to even be possible (without a great imagination!) so I've resigned myself and dh to celibacy for a while......

fine now - I waited until after my first scan at 6.5 weeks but they said would have been fine before and even on the 2ww - go with the flow but don't jump off any wardrobes

thank you all for your responses. I wish now that we'd waited, we didn't jump off any wardrobes and were very gentle, but still I'm bleeding heavily today and suspect I'm miscarrying/late AFing. It may be unrelated but it's hard not to think I've brought this on myself.

Just wanted to check how you are! It is not related I am quite sure - might be twins - one coming away? Might have just dislodged something or it might be AF as this is when AF would be due and some do have a slight AF - sometimes the whole way through.
I do hope it is all ok - please let us know

Hi, just back from the clinic. They've taken blood and I'll know if my levels have dropped on Tuesday or Wednesday. They were 740 on Friday - I've no idea how this compares to UK systems but over 50 means pg apparently. They've suggested things don't look good, which is no surprise.

Tracey, I'd not thought of maybe one twin coming away, that gives us something to hope for. Thank you.

Thanks for all your help, I'll let you know asap.

love

740 on friday - how many days were you then after ET/EC or however they do it - this seems quite high and therefore I was wondering if you were pg with twins and unfortunately losing one - please don't think I am being awful if I say out of everything I hope it is this and you are still pg - actually I hope it is an AF type thing and you are pg with twins but you know what I mean. I just want you and am willing you to still be PG - thanks for letting us know and I will wait biting my nails for some good news - you so deserve it!
