Suga--I'm sorry, but I'm going to be a hard ass here. But I think it's for your own good. You have been through a HELL of a time carrying, delivering, and caring for two babies. Once sleep comes, you will feel better and more motivated. You are right--when you're tired, you stress eat...which of course, isn't good. Okay--hard ass time---Your DH is caught between a rock and a hardplace. We women give them no choice when we discuss our weight. There's no answer he could give that would make you feel better, you know? So, DON'T ASK DH if he thinks your fat....he can't win for trying. Now--toss the lucky charms. DON'T buy any reese's....plop your girls in the stroller...WALK, WALK, WALK or run or skip or whatever to get your hiney moving. Exercise helps produce endorphins in your body which will help you feel better...which will encourage you to eat better and sleep better. I know some people don't like to exercise, but do it. Pick something that you can do with the girls and do it....as much as you can. The weather is getting nicer these days, so you should be able to take nice long walks. I have to exercise nearly every day in order to keep my weight in check. This winter I've been naughty myself---all that cookie making we've been doing. So, today, I started back on my Weight Watcher's plan---just to help me keep track of my eating habits. It helps me tow the line, so to speak. I'm not a big girl, but even an extra 8-10 pounds on my frame is a big difference. Okay....now go....find something and do it. The food thing will balance itself out once you're moving. And when you stop buying tempting goodies. Good luck, kiddo. We all want you to be successful and happy. And it WILL happen. Just take baby steps....until you get some more confidence. I'm sorry if you think I'm a ***** for being this way, but I know that I need a kick in the arse every once-in-a while too...we all do. So, consider me your bitchy trainer, if you need me to be.
As for us, the kids and I spent the entire afternoon outside. The kids were playing while I was pruning bushes and weeding the flower beds...come on SPRING!!!!
