Abnormal HCG Levels

Sorry for no intro, wife is upset on this but we are both very confused.

Wife and I did a 5 day transfer ICSI ,

transfer was done on 2nd of March.

08 days past transfer: 28
10 days past transfer: 53
14 days past transfer: 144
23 days past transfer: Doctor wants to do Ultra sound


Wife is driving her self nuts over these numbers.
DR is not giving us much opinion on his interpretation other than he'd like to see them higher.

Wife is scared she will miscarry.

Wife is on 1cc progesterone shot and estrogen patches.

The numbers are low but they are doublings.

I've seen alot of members with hcg #'s start at 10-20 and go on to have a successful pregnancy.

Hang in there, and congrats!! The most important thing is the #'s are going up. Maybe request another one for comfort. My Dr did 4 hcg test.

Wishing you the best of luck. Doubling is not a scientific thing, they would just like the beta number to be close to doubling. Your numbers are going up so that is a good sign. Hang in there.

I wouldn't worry quite yet. My betas didnt double every other day like they "say" they should. Technically they should be rising 1.7 times every other day. Good luck. By the way, I have an 8 week old son from my betas not doubling!

144 for 14 day transfer is fine...my doc did not do any betas before then...perhaps because they are not so accurate...they did betas every 2 days after 14 days, so i'd get another beta...good luck. My 3rd beta with twins did not double either. Hard to stay positive, but hang in there.

What's wrong with those numbers? My first beta at 14dpo was 210 and I'm any day now with twin boys. Your doing great!!
