We've been through 2 rounds of IVF already. Diagnosed with a male factor issue...2% morphology. Since we knew we'd be doing IVF regardless...we didn't address the male factor issue. Never a problem finding good sperm for ICSI.
Recently though, I thought that we should be more proactive. My husband's urologist suggested that he take clomid to improve overall sperm quality (my husband does not have a vericocele, and his counts are fine...it's just the morphology).
Anyone else have experience with your husband taking clomid for male factor issues???? Any info is appreciated.
Only good wishes for all of you!

Snapper, my hubby's issue is low count and he did Clomid for 3 months. It didn't seem to help it, but his wasn't a morphology issue either. I had heard it helps about 50% of the time, so perhaps it will be good for you guys. Worth a try anyway. Good luck!
Hi Snapper.... I am in the same boat as you. We were diagnosed with male factor (morphology at 2% all other numbers fine). We have now been through 2 fresh IVF's and 1 FET - all negative. Just wondering if Clomid could help. Keep me posted if you find out any info on this. THanks!

I would like to know this as well. My DH has 2% morph and if this IVF cycle doesn't work, I would like to know different ways at home we could increas our chances. Very interesting to read men taking clomid.
My husband is taking clomid but for a testosterone issue. His urologist had him on a 6month treatment plan and he's on the tail end of the treatment. Although his sperm count, morph..etc was all within normal range prior to clomid his numbers have increased in all areas since treatment. And the RE is recommending ICSI as a precaution because of the male factor.
