I have been reading this post the past few days in search for answers.

But first I have to say lots of hugs to all who have recently just had a negative Beta test. And H5's to all those who just got their positives!

This is my first and most likely last cycle for IVF. I had 19 eggs. They did 1/2 ICSI on 10 eggs and 8 fertilized. Out of the remaining 9, 5 fertilized on their own. My husbands morph during testing was at 3% and the day of retrieval it was 2%. We have really been diagnosed with unexplained infertility.

So we had 1 great embryo and 1 okay embryo. I can't remember haw they graded them. I think 2AB and 1. I can't remember.

Anyways I found out the terrible news that they remaining embryos did not make it to freezing. That was crushing to us.

So my retrieval was March 6. I had a 5dt. I am currently 8dpt5dt. I took a HPT yesterday and it was negative. I was devastated all day and searched for answers and positive thinking here. I read many testimonies that I still have a chance, so I'm still trying to stay positive. My beta test is tomorrow and I just pray this works. Just give me a number, that’s all I want at this point.

So that’s my story, I wish I would have joined you ladies earlier. I'm almost there, but really don't know what my chances are. Good luck to you all.

2ww

Post by branda »

hi ladies, Can I join your 2WW. Little beat about
me. I'm 29 with no problem, and my DH 35 with low sperm and low mortility. Did first IVFwith ICSI in June 2008, 18 follicles, 15 matured, 8 fertilized, 4 made it to day 3 and were all transfered. Had negative result. Now, we are started on 2nd IVF with ICSI. Had egg retrieved on Monday 3/16/09. 10 retrieved, 4 fertilized, DH and I planned for 5day transfer from the beginning which my RE agreed. Then on thursday 3/19/09, we got a call from my RE to come in for egg transfer. When DH and I got there, our RE explained to us that it's better we transfer that day. I was confused and asking why sudden change from original 5day planned. Our Re said the embroies are better in my uterus. these were 1-8cell and 3-6cells. So, I sat there my instint told me to proceed to 5day transfer, I immediately told my RE that I will prefer 5day transfer. MY RE ofcourse told me all the scary stories that we might not have any embroy to transfer if we wait till day 5. I said to My Re that we understand, but Almighty God knows the best. So, we left and waited for the 5 day. My DH and I prayed tirelessly, praising GOD and asking God for his will to be done. Early morning on Saturday 3/21/09, my RE called and said that all 4 embroies made it to blast. Glory be to GOD. My DH and I went in around 8am that day and transfered good blast and freeze 2. We are on our 2WW now. We have faith in GOd and we believe he will deliver us. So, ladies always go with your instint because that's GOD talking to you. GOD is the creator of life and Doctors can only do their best. This RE is my second Doctor after my first failed IVF i June 2008, i changed to this RE. Anyone live in OHIO that is on2WW. Please, reply! GOD BLESS U ALL! Thanks a million

Hi Ladies,

I am part of the March/April thread, but I thought I could chime in here as well. I had my first IVF ET on 3/17. My beta test is on 3/27. I haven;t had any of the bleeding or cramping that has been described associated with implantation. I am only on day 5 do you all think it's too early for me to be worried either way? I am trying to stay positive, but I am getting so anxious since this is potentially my first pregnancy.

Hello, how are you doing zbuby?? Hi to lynley did you have a good result from your beta?? branda good luck to you, hi lionoe, how are you, sorry have not been round much lately, not coping that well with 2ww this time so have stayed away a bit to try and keep sane!!! I wouldn't worry about not having bleeding or cramping associated with the implantation, everyones experience is different and for every 10 women who experience those symptoms and get a BFP you will find 10 more with no symptoms and a BFP, I think we instinctively look for things we are not feeling and then see it as a bad sign, your anxiety is completely normal, try and keep busy so your mid is not playing on it all the time.........

Take care
