April/May cycle buddies?

Hi everyone I am new here, I have also posted on the introduction board so sorry if I am repeating!! I hope Im not too early,but Im looking for some cycle buddies for April/May.We are starting our first ICSI cycle then. We have never done any IVF so I guess its a first all round,we are male factor with DH low sperm. im 29, DH 31. I was extremely encouraged reading this board with a few ppl saying they had great first time success with ICSI. I am feeling very positive about this and really hope it works first time around.So heres hoping, and please introduce yourselves to me Id love to get to know about you all!!!

Hi there hope2beamummy, nice to meet you! I'm also a first timer, I've just started the down regulation phase and my likely egg retrieval and transfer are going to be mid April ish. What are your likely dates?

I've joined the March/April cycle thread - there are lots of ladies on there who are cycling in March but a few of us who are cycling in April. Why don't you join us there, at least to have a chat with some people while you wait for your cycle to kick off?

hope- i was going to reccomend the same thing as hjw, i am also on the march/april thread and i am actually the last to go on our list and won't be until the end of april. So pop in and say hi if you like!

hi hope- i will also be cycling in april/may. this will be my second time of ivf with icsi - my first attempt resulted in my 10 month old daughter. i am 27 with pcos, and husband is 31 with sperm antibodies.

WOW!!Thanks for responding so quickly guys,thanks for the tips,Ill go over and post on the March April board too.
Tan,Thats so amazing that you ended up with a beautiful baby 1st attempt that is really encouraging for me to hear that.
HJW,My likely start dates will be around the first week of April,just got to wait for my period to start,just finished one so should be very early April. Then I will start the down reg etc etc ...
CT_Michelle,OK ill pop over and say HI in the March/April board!

Hi - I'm new to the forum and it looks like I will only be a couple weeks ahead of you. I should get my period next week and be able to start the birth control then, so that would put me with ER at the end of April, I think. I am 29 as well, husband is 46 and had vasectomy during his first marriage. We tried the reversal a year and a half ago, but it didn't work, so now this is going to be our first attempt at IVF/ISCI.

I just picked a date for my FET cycle and transfer will be on 4/30. I am returning to this board after a long time away raising my now 17 month old daughter. I am very nervous and excited to be trying again. Luckily I have 6 embies frozen so we will be using those for our transfer. I hope it works and I don't have to have a retrieval again. This board was amazing for me when I was TTC my first and I look forward to making new cycle buddies this time around.

rikirees and statsgodess I will be starting sometime in April just waiting for my period also.
stasgoddess,I replied to your post RE your husbands vasectomy on another board please read there i really want to show you there is hope.
I will write more when I can best of luck ladies.
Thre is another April board going as well which is very busy and helpful you should check it out..

Hi guys!

So happy to have found this site! I have been a long time lurker (nearly two years) and only now decided to finally go ahead with IVF/ICSI. Im 27, DH is 38. Hopefully we will all get some happy news in the next few months. I will hopefully start the injections at the beginning of my next cycle (mid April). Really nervous right now but hopefully everything will work out.

Hi there! I am starting IVF #1 in April/May...starting BCP today, then skipping Lupron and going right into stim. I'm excited- just had my first sonogram on friday and have SIS and mock transfer as well as IVF class next Thurs!

Hi everyone!

I'm new to the site and excited to get to know everyone. I will be doing my 1st IVF cycle in April/May. Just waiting for AF!! I'm very excited but a little bit nervous too. My husband is deployed overseas and our timing to do IVF didn't workout before he left. I'm hopeful to get through this with the help of my mom.

So, as you can imagine I'm soooo nervous about spending all this money on IVF (fortunately, most will be covered by insurance but after one round the insurance money will be gone) and still losing the baby. I wish everyone the best on here and look forward to your support when I start. Best, Michele
