FET in Feb!!!

Hi all!

Just loved the pictures Donni- your girls are so beautiful! I agree with Faith, your 14 year old looks like you! So when are you thinking of doing a FET? Good luck!

Beth- Sounds like all is going great! How was your latest doc appt? How are you feeling? Will you find our the sexes of the babies? I think you might have said you would find out... Does your dd get that you are having two babies or is she a little young to get it?

Faith- The weather has even been crazy here in IL too! When will you be doing your FET? Good luck!

Malya- Good luck with your transfer- I'm sure that it being so close to your b-day will be good luck for sure!!

Barbarella- Can't wait to hear your good news soon about your little boy!!

We're getting settled in our new home...little by little...hoping to finally get the old house up for sale within the next couple weeks...dh mentions sometimes about starting up again with a cycle but I'm just not sure if we should...it's a lot easier for him to say let's do it cuz he has so little to do in it all!! But who knows...

how are my peeps?

Where has everyone been?

Nothing new here, just feeling round.

I was so p'd off the other night, one of the moms in the neighborhood said to me, "My friend is having twins in August, too. You are WAY bigger than she is."

Gee thanks. I hate stupid comments and I hate it more that I never have something snappy to come back with. What possesses people to say ignorant things? Or is it too much to expect people to think before they open their mouths, maybe my expectations are too high.
Don't mind me, I am a little bitter.

I am taking DD swimming next week and I had to buy a tent, I mean, a maternity swimsuit. What was I thinking? I look like a beach ball in it.

Sorry, Donni, still not posting belly pics.

DD doesn't understand about the babies, when we talk about the babies in mommy's tummy, she rubs her own tummy and says, "my babies."

One of the twins is constantly swimming laps in there, the other moves around occasionally, from what I can feel now. I haven't felt anything on the outside, I can't remember when that starts.

oh well, time to do something constructive, like nap!

beth my dd was 2 when i concieved my last dd she did the same thing.. I dont think its confusion i think they want to be like us. My sil said all her kids did it. My oldest dd told everyone she had a baby in her belly as well. She is four now and the baby is 1 and she wtill tells me that its her baby. From the day my youngest was born the older dd said it was her baby and she was 3 when she was born.

Beth glad to hear your little ones are good!!! As for your neighbor, some people are just not understanding to others feelings...Poor Beth, don't let it get to ya! Oh, and I'm sure you don't look like you're wearing a tent, lol! Wow, I can't imagine swimming right now, but I'm sure you're talking about a heated indoor pool...I hope anyway!! I'm sure it won't take your DD long to realize that there's babies in your belly, maybe it will click when you do their nursery.

How's Donni been? And Miss Addie?

Barbarella any action yet?

Laura so maybe another cycle? Maybe you me and donni will have one together..

Beth ~ Alright sucka fish. You know I won't stop asking for the belly pics. Forget about your stupid neighbor. Remember me writing about the stupid lady at the grocery store who told me how big I was. Remember I was also going to tell her or anyone else who made a stupid comment how big I thought they were. Well never got the chance, but I thought about it. How cute with your DD. Boy is she in for a surprise. So whats next, whens your next appt???

Faith ~ Hey there missy! I agree, it has been quiet. Little Addy girl is doing wonderful. She is rolling over, screaming and just as cute as a button. Are buttons cute??? So...when are you thinking of cycling? I am now trying to BF until 6 months, not sure when I will cycle again. I know sooner rather than later is the plan.

Laura ~ I agree with DH!!! Try, try again I say! I know, I know, what am I thinking. I am holding Addy right now so it makes it all worth it, but I do remember all the losses and everytime I think I lost part of my heart. So don't let me influence you. Or maybe let me influence you a little. LOL!

Barbarella ~ HEY THERE!! Where are you? When are you due? I can't even rememeber. Don't forget about us!

Barbarella, I hope everything is ok and you are enjoying being a mommy by now! Hope to hear from you soon!!

Donni, adorable pics as usual. 5 months old? how is that possible? did we JUST start this thread?
I BF'd until 6 months and I just didn't want to do it anymore, but I pumped enough and froze it, so DD had B-milk until she was 11 or 12 months old. How do you BF and work??

Faith and Laura, great to hear from you guys, and let us know about starting again, I will be here to cheer you on!

As for me, OB appt last week. I was 18 weeks along and my belly was measuring 24 weeks!

I feel like a cow, but a very happy cow. (no belly pics, donni!!)
I have ultrasound in two weeks and we will find out what we are having! oh, and we will find out just how healthy they are, too!

So today is 6dp5dt and I broke down and took an HPT and it was negative I had transfer on Tuesday March 17 and from Wednesday through Saturday I had cramping like AF was coming and today is when HCG should be starting to enter the blood stream do you guys think that it is still to early to detect on an HPT or are my chances over again one of the embryos was already hatching when they givve them back to me I was hoping that was a good sign BETA isnt until Thursday wonder do I still have a chance

espinozal23 I know some hcg levels can increase very slowly and not be detected on an HPT for a while. My friend was 5 weeks pregnant before she got a + result! Keeping my fingers crossed for you!

Hi all, Here is an update. We transfered 2, 8 cell embryos on the 24th. (my 29th birthday- which was a little sureal) I'm still on bed rest now, I can get up tonight. We did get to freeze three embryos too, so thats good. I go in tomorrow for 1st b/w and same for next tues to check my med levels and then on the following friday the 3rd we'll have a beta test... really nervous. I'm glad I have to go in twice before the preg test, it kinda makes my routine normal. We are still part of the documentary althought my dr. doesn't always let them film what I'm doing. I'mm keep you posted.
