March/April cycle buddies??

welcome Nicole (ianmichael3)! I think most people here are ivf, but we can still help you get through this tough time with all of the support you need. What does CD 3 stand for? As you can see by our tracker, we still have a lot of people coming up in april too, so you will have plenty of 2ww buddies. Have you ever tried ivf or just done iui's? Have the dr's ever mentioned ivf? I really do hope it works for you this time around, and I am looking forward to cycling with you.

dys- yeah for stimming! You finally made it, I am so excited for you.

estrellita- I am dancing for you over here. I wonder why no af yet...were you expecting her by now?

Well, it's usually irregular. But I was expecting her for last Friday and nothing

I think this is the first time I really want her to come...lol.
I was on clomid last year and after clomid it kinda got regular for a few months but now back to waiting for it

I just hope it comes and doesn't leave me waiting for one month or two because I already have the med and I read on one of them to discard after 30 days

Not good!

Hazel - My next u/s will be tomorrow. I'm very ansious to know how everything goes.

CT - So good, your MIL is getting better and having future plans. I believe that everything happens for a reason. So, this situation is the door to many wonderful things for your MIL and your family.

Babymex - Sorry abount your ectopic. OMG! but in the intestine. It's the first time I heard something like that. What did your RE told you?

AFM - Today is my 6th day of stimms. My u/s should be today but for some reason they schedule mine for tomorrow. I haven't gain weigh yet but my belly seems to be a little bigger. DH has so much PMA, this morning he woke me up, because he wanted to see his baby, and kiss my belly. It was cute.

I got to tell you, of all the meds I'm using, the Menopur is the most hurtfull of all. And I hate the proteins. My DH laugh because I said "Everything for my baby" and drink it all at once without breathing.

CT Michele:

CD 3 stands for cycle day 3.... The RE says our 'plan' is to try 3 rounds of IUI, then we'll meet with him again to discuss the Sperm Analysese (sp?) to see if IVF makes more sense..... I'm not sure how I feel about that (IVF). I'm afraid we'd get pregnant the first time, then have too many babies on ice to know what to do with. We'll cross that bridge when we get to it, besides, I know from a friend of mine that with IVF comes a whole slew of new info to wrap my head around!

I'm assuming some of you ladies have gone through IUI, so I'm hopeful you can field some questions for me!

Ianmichael, welcome. Im doing my first IVF but Im sure you will still get lots of good support here.

Sari, someone told me to mix the Menopur and then let it sit while you inject your other shots. My Menopur hasnt burned me at all that way.
DYS, stim baby stim!!
Babymex, sorry for the difficult hospital stay. At least you are at home now and can recover.
Babyluv, how are the stims going?
Sara30, have you tested again? When are you having your beta done?

Estrellita - here the temp is 72, and is raining. So good to eat crackers and hot chocolate, and stay in bed washing a good movie with DH. (in PR is a holiday, only a few people working).

Active board today!

Hopeful57, I havevn't been feeling much with my stimming and I'm on day 10! I mean I feel something but not pain or major discomfort. Mostly just a little bloating. I can't suck my belly in like I use to, LOL!

I do have to move around slowly, no sudden moves or I can really feel things jiggling around in there

. I definitely didn't feel anything for probably the first 5 days. I've also experienced no weight gain which was my biggest fear. All in all RE says things look good so no pain can definitely be a good thing

I'm still here and keeping up with all of you, but I'm simply too overwhelmed to do personals! I'm still 'thickening'!! I have an u/s on Thursday to see how my lining is doing. If all is well, I should get the go ahead for the FET the next Thursday, 4/2. I feel like I've been on an emotional roller with the addition of the estrogen pills. The last time I went through IVF it was my summer break (I'm a teacher). This time I'm in the thick of 3rd quarter, and currently I'm buried in paperwork. I'm an English teacher, so that doesn't help with the paper load! I will be doing my FET over my spring break, but the trick is getting through this week, getting from here to there. AHHHHHHHHH!!! Overwhelming!!! I'm hanging in there, though!

OK, here's a funny question.....

My RE's office has me do an ept 2 weeks after IUI. IF it is NEGATIVE, they make me wait another 2 days and try again. My question is, has ANYONE ever had their doc tell them to do this? If so........ has anyone ever gotten a positive two days later?

Of course the first day I could test was Sunday, which was negative, and I've of course got extra epts, so I tested today and it was negative....... so I find it HIGHLY unlikely all of a sudden, tomorrow's would be positive......

It is everything I can do to keep from losing it here at work.

The hpt are not so accurate, there is definetly still hope.

I have heard stories of women not getting a positive hpt until day 20th!
