Hi everybody!!!
It sounds like we are all getting so close. It's so exciting isn't it!!! Let me start out with personals....
Jenny~ April 3rd sounds like such a lovely date to bring your son into this world. I too was hoping for the 2nd or third, but they have me scheduled for 3-31 at 5:30 PM which stinks b/c I fear they may run late and I will have the "April fools" day delivery. I know it's silly, but if I can avoid it, I would like to. I was hopeful my son would come early like my girls, but so far....nothing.

Kerpupples~ I just got over a gross cold, and I was so stressed that the baby would come while I was still sick. I hope you are starting to feel better. Being pregnant is hard enough work right?

Silverangel~ I am only carrying a singleton, and I am SOOO READY. You are my hero! LOL! My legs are so swollen with water that I have been on such a nice slow weight gain with this pregnancy, (only 22lb) until this past week when I gained 4 1/2 lbs in 1 week from the water. My kids are playing the game "Lets stick our fingers in mommys legs and make imprints" FUN  Not being a first time mommy either, I know what you mean about the anticipation of your water breaking. Every day, every cramp, I'm like "Is this it". I am comforted that no matter what, in 10 days from now, or less, he will be here.

babyloves~ You're right up there with Silverangel. My heros. I am carrying one, and my body is DONE! I am so ready to be able to tie my shoes without getting winded. Do you have a scheduled c-sectioin date, or are you going to try to go natural? Do you have names for your girls yet? Hang in there....you're almost done. Feel good!

Esperanza~ Hello my friend. So glad to hear you had such a wonderful shower. Your little ballerina will be surrounded by love it sounds like. I also know what you mean about the nesting thing. It can make you nuts. I officially have everything assembled and scrubbed. 90% of his clothes have been washed, my car has been detailed, and I had a pedicure and massage yesterday to make sure I was ready!  Now, I'm just waiting on him. My girls were already here by now, so I don't know what to expect with this little guy. Only time will tell :) Hopefully a shorter than longer time :D PM me if you want to contact on FB. :)

CT~ Good luck with your cycle!! BABY DUST BABY DUST!!!!!! Keep us posted!

Sonu~ How are you feeling? How is Anay doing?????

Lit~ I'm sure you are lounging around and relaxing all day with nothing to do right!? :D Just kidding my dear. How are you and your 3 beautiful girls doing? How is DH? Are you in any routine yet with your triplets, or do they keep you going 24/7? Hope you are all feeling and doing well!

As for me ladies, not much to report. Cervix is still long and closed as of yesterday. I tried to bribe the doctor to break my water, but she wasn't going for it. Oh well. :? DH is anxious and asking how I feel every hour on the hour. Cute. I am so swollen with water at this point that I just want to get to the delivery portion of this pregnancy. I actually went to a hockey game last week, and walked up and down the coliseum steps about 20 times. Today I was playing basketball in the yard with my girls and my husband almost had a heartattack  Well, only God knows when this little one is going to get here! Can't wait to see how this thread unfolds over the next few weeks with all of us so close to the finish line! Feel well ladies!!!!

Hello my dears!

Well, I'm hanging in there. I don't think I'm at the level of Silverangel, babyloves or alreadyblessed, but I'm getting there. Today I've been experiencing hot flashes  not fun. For the most part I don't feel like doing much apart from getting ready for baby...seriously, it's pretty much all I can think about. If I'm in the middle of a reading for class, I stop to look for something on-line OR re-write my list of things to do before baby comes, etc. maybe my papers will have the word "baby" at some random places this semester. My feet and hand are also getting swollen. My midwife asked me to keep the liquid intake high and to put my feet up at the end of the day. I try to do it, but it's uncomfortable to lay on my back with my feet up for long.

ALRADYBLESSED: I also went up 4 pounds in one week    I've been pretty good throughout the pregnancy, gaining weight, but always the average or within range. My midwife told me the exact same thing: water retention. I can relate to your story going up and down the steps at the stadium. DH and I went to see a pretty important speaker the other day and I was holding to that railing like nobody's business, going back up was a trip and I felt like my ballerina's head was about to come out of my vagina :P

I really thought you were having your sweet boy this week. As you can tell he is already behaving differently from your girls...get ready for a brand new experience!

MICHELLE-- my friend sent out the invitation for my "virtual" baby shower. It's next Saturday, the 28th. This is what she wrote:

"Millennial Baby Shower for R and P:
ANNOUNCEMENT!!

Virtual baby shower for R & P, to welcome new baby due early April!!! Get on Facebook on Saturday, March 28 around 3 p.m. and write all over their walls and see how well they multitask with facebook IM! They are registered at Target, should you like to send adorable cute tiny baby gifts.

Share this message far and wide.

Peace,
M."

Anyway, I'll let you know how it goes. I can tell you that my mom got really excited because she was sad not to be near by to be part of (or better yet, organize) a shower for me. Other loved ones thought the idea was great and are all HAPPY about it (they all wrote back with great feedback and sweet words), so I have to REALLY thank my friend because my family feels included and that's priceless.

SONU-- thinking about y ou and beautiful Anay. I hope you are all doing great and enjoying getting to know each other. Blessings.

LITERATRIZ--sending you, dh, and your girls lots of love as well. Are they all home now?

JENNY-- you got a date!!!! exciting! it's funny, I was telling a friend the other day that we were hoping the baby would come early, and I said something about April 1st, and my friend jumped to say "no, no, April 1st no..it' April fool's day!"...I wasn't even thinking about it, baby brain?

KERPUPPLES--oh no! :( I'm sending lots of healing thoughts your way for a speedy recovery. Yeah, DHs can be like that. Mine thinks I'm mean now because I just say things to him straightforward, he's not used to that. He would say "baby, can you do this? I'm tired" and I'm like "well, good thing you don't know what it's like to carry a child inside of you 24/7" or "well, this cooking thing is becoming a burden for me, so you'd better find a way to feed us both!" (when he looks at me and says "I'm hungry")...oops!

SILVERANGEL--any signs of labor yet? I can only imagine how you feel with two in there. Lord! you asked about how we feel after sex? well, I have NO idea...no sex in this house  but to be honest I'm not horny anymore, at least I haven't been for the past few days, my pelvis bone is too painful to think about getting naughty right now.

I still don't feel 100% ready, and ready ya'll posts makes me feel even further behind. Thankfully, our spring break started today, so our plan is to use this week to finish up everything (well, at least make sure we have all the essentials covered. We are getting the car seat and stroller tomorrow. I know, I know, I should have it by now, but we were waiting for our baby shower and this past week we had no time.

Today I freaked out a little bit. My breast have been itchy and just feeling uncomfortable so I was touching them and checking them out and a bit of colustrum came out  even though I know what it is because I've been reading about it, it kind of freaked me out for a good minute. It hit me, Oh lord, I'm going to be breastfeeding pretty soon!!!!!!!!

Oh my goodness, you ladies are all so close!

esperanza- The facebook shower sounds like a fun idea. I am throwing a shower for my future sister in law at my house in ct and she is having one up in rochester ny too, but it might be nice to do something virtual for everyone. I am a facebook moron like I told you though, so you may have to pm me with details. Like if I wanted to add you as a friend, or find you on there, I don;t even know how to go about doing that...so it will take a lot of coaching in order to pull together a virtual shower.

Glad to hear you are anxioulsy awaiting the arrival of your ballerina! It really could be any day now!

alreadyblessed- thanks for the baby dust, I will take all of it I can get. I am glad to hear you are holding up just fine these last few weeks. you sound more active now than I was through my whole pregnancy.

jennywit- My ct friend! Wow, 8 lbs already! April 3 sounds like a good date...I can't wait to here your birth story.

to everyone else here...I am so excited for you all and will anxiously be awaiting the arrivals of all your little bundles...just try and relax these next few weeks...you lives are about to change in a way you never imagined possible.

hi ladies..
great to read all ur posts...and dates are being scheduled and babies are about to be born!! yeah...

my scheduled c-section is wed, 3/25, but we'll see if they make an earlier apperance...so far nothing tho...can't til if i've lost a mucous plug or just discharge (sorry, TMI). my parents came over this weekend, so its a huge help with cooking, etc..as there's only so much that DH can do, plus he has to be told to do it :? he already feels like his mom is being left out since she's offered to help so many times and lives closer to us, and i haven't ask her to come earlier to help...uggh...i hate in-law wars. I've tried to explain that moms are closer to their daughters than any mother-in-law can be (maybe not always, but at least in my case). I told him i'll ask to come over later after they're born...oh well

Anyway, thought i'd take that off my chest...

well, everybody is standing around me right now, so i'll write more later...
good luck to everyone!

babyloves- that's only 3 days away! How exciting! I can't wait to hear your story. And I agree with you about mom-in-laws...as much as we love them, it is just not the same as your own mom. There is just something special about having your own mom around, especially when you are about to become a mom yourself. Good luck with everything.

Ct Michele-Thanks for the well wishes, I just can't wait to see this little guy!!! Also, you should be starting again soon, right? How are things going for the 2nd time around?????? You must be both excited & anxoius to be going back to that office again, Dr. Levi got it right with both of us the first time, so I have confidence he will be able to do the same again for you!! Wow Babyluv, 3 days away, and I thought I was close with 12 days left-how wonderful! To all the other ladies, hope all are doing well, babes in hand (very busy) or babes in belly (very anxious) Jennifer

jenny- I am not enjoying the drive back and forth to Trumbull again, but Dr. Levi and his staff are awesome, so I guess it's not that bad. I hear a lot of horror stories about clinics an RE offices, and how people drive hours, so I guess I can't complain being a 30 minute drive and a great office. I am hoping that since he seems to have a fairly high success rate and got it right the first try with me (and you) that it will work again. I will probably go see them tomorrow (need to call, just got af over the weekend), I should start bcp's probably tomorrow, and the next cycle attheir office starts stims on 4/10...so yes, it is coming very soon. I might have been pregnant already had it not been for the polyp surgery I had to have, but of course Dr levi was great with that too and I am glad it is over and taken care of.

Wow- only 12 days for you too. Who is your delivery doc again? Dr F, but same office as my dr too I think. Does Dr F do c-secs alone or will another doc join? Isn't it crazy that we have the same RE, same OB office and same hospital?? Such a small world, that we meet on this worldwide message board in similar situations and practically live in the same neighborhood. I wonder if we will end of having the same hospital room. Good luck with everything and I am excited for you upcoming arrival.

Esperanza: I keep imagining signs of labor. Not sure what to make of it all. I've had what I'm thinking is 3 "real" contraction but they've been spaced out over the last 2 weeks
Who knows. I've kind of given my self the mind set that I'm going to go in for my scheduled c-section on the 7th and that'll be it. :(

Babyloves: What do you mean you think you lost your plug or you have some discharge? share with me please because I think I've got the same thing going on. Our sisters on the board are in the same position we are so they'll forgive us our grossness (I hope  )
I've been having this heavy-ish mucus-y discharge that I feel gush out ever so slightly every now and then, it's been happening all night and all day today. When I wipe it looks like I blew my nose a little.
SO SORRY GIRLS!! Just trying to find out what's going on. is this what you've got going on too?

Hey Michele, thanks for the well wishes. I hope all started well for you again today, I just remember the drive being such an emotional one-back & forth to the office, my mind would wander & race with both good & bad thoughts. I don't need to remind you how exhausting infertility is though, you already know. Dr Ferrentino said he would explain more about the c-sec at my appt on Friday, so I guess I will find out then. I'm a little nervous about the surgery, but what am I gonna do? I'm so sad that I won't see my 3 yr old to bed each nite that I'm at the hospital-that's what's really killing me. I know it will all be worth it to give him a brother, but I miss him already! Jennifer

silverangel: i had some extra yellowish d/c yesterday, but it wasn't jelly-like - i read that mucous plug are more jelly-like, i don't know if that's what you've had...only 30% break their water...

i hear u about wanting some sign of the babies coming..its so hard to wait...i wonder why ur ob is waiting for 39 wks...i guess each office does diff things. mine wanted 38 wks..maybe b/c i've had premature contractions, etc.

Anyway, tomm i go get pre-op bloodwork and then wed is the day! Please say a little prayer for me ladies...i'm nervous. Thanks!

Anybody else having scheduled c-sections?

esperanza: have fun at ur virtual shower! let us know how it goes...
michelle: thanks for symphathezing with me on the MIL issue...i'm so happy to have my mom home...we had the in-laws over for dinner yesterday, so all is good now. they can give each other company when i'm in the hospital
alreadyblessed: i'm impressed that ur playing b-ball, etc...way to go!

hey all

i m wrting to you all with anay on my shoulders trying to burp. this has been an issue since his birth. he rarely burps which makes night feeding all the more difficult. i make sleep sideways on his left, and keep a watch on him for the rest of the night. he invariably takes out his milk everytime through mouth. he also sometimes makes gargling sounds, which scares me. any suggestions?

other than this he is doing great, gaining weight steadily. can't believe he is already 5 weeks. my incisions hv also healed completely. people who are going for c-sec, there is nothing to fear, little care and everything is in place. Out of total 13 kgs gained I already lost 9 kgs. I still have to loose atleast 10 kgs which I gained during the IVF process.

I haven't read much of what you all have written but I know your days are closer. I really can't wait to hear the good news from you all.

Babyloves - All the Best for Wednesday!! Soon your girls will be in your arms and you will experience the amazing feeling...out of the world. :D I will be saying a little prayer for you tonight.

Esperanza, alreadyblessed, Lit. Jenny, kerpepples-- I m thinking of you all ans sending you the best wishes.

Pardon me for nt writing a long and individual post!! You all will soon join my league. :D

Hi ladies. Today is the first day I actually seem to be getting my energy back. The strep is under control but this cold has just kicked my butt. I think this little girl is taking the best of the nutrients I'm taking in so it's taking forever to shake the sickness. She's still as active as ever though so I think she's doing just fine.

Except for the fact that germs got passed around like the plague, our shower was wonderful! We had a great turnout and I think everyone had a nice time. It was coed so we had guys in our basement drinking beer and watching sports while the ladies decorated onesies and oohed and ahed over the gifts. We were so well taken care of! Not too many duplicates either, though all the ones we did have came from Target. All we really still need to buy is a pack & play.

Sonu - Is Anay getting colicky? If he's not I imagine it's nothing to worry about.

babyloves - Good luck tomorrow! I'll have a scheduled C as well assuming this previa doesn't cause any issues first. I'm sure things will go just fine for you.

jennywit - I'm nervous about my c-sect too. I don't even have a kiddo to miss during my stay in the hospital, just my dogs! ;)

esperanza - I had hot flashes on Clomid, they are terrible! Glad to hear you enjoyed your shower as well. Are increased fluids helping with the swelling? The colostrum showing up kinda freaked me out too.

SilverAngel - we're watching you missy, I have a feeling you may be the next to go if babyloves doesn't beat you there! Not real familiar with the mucus plug but that sounds like it could be it to me.

alreadyblessed - I can't believe they scheduled you for surgery at 5:30, that means you can't eat all day! My OB told me they'd schedule me for the morning, I hope she comes through. And yes, between the cold and the baby I have ZERO energy. It's very frustrating.

Lit - any more of your beautiful girls home yet?
