Hi Ladies,,,

There is no way i can remember all that I have read, I am sorry. Here in Alaska, the volcano is threatening to blow...we will see what happens. thankfully, we do not have the lava issue as much as the ASH issue. that can cause some havoc

Kelly: Yes, include me on CHAPTER 2! same info. You rock!

SO I have my WTF meeting on Saturday, a new RE, supposedly AWSOME, I don’t even know where to begin with the questions, i am just hoping for renewed hope, if you know what I mean.

So glad for all you ladies with BFP's and wishing and praying hard for the rest of us to get ours!

Luv,
Kat

Hi Ladies:

Well I had another peri appt on Tuesday and a 4D scan.

Scan just keeps amazing me. she does a reg scan then switches to $d so we can see their little faces and such. I love our US tech she is so sweet.

However seems at 22 weeks I am developing Preeclampsia and now have been ordered to bedrest. My BP went from my baseline of 120/70 to 154/84 and remains around their. I was sent for a 24 protein Urine test and am hoping that it will come back fine... Wishful thinking I know!!!

DR said to expect to be in the hospital for at least 4 to 6 weeks prior to delivery which he stated will be about 33 weeks, so now we are looking at week of June 7th..........So much to do, so little time...... I know we will have time after they are born since they will remain in the NICU for awhile. YOu just want to take them home, not leave them in the care of anyone else........ Well thats my update for now.

I hope all you wonderful ladies are doing great and staying positive....

Hiya Ladies~ we saw the heartbeat today! I am just soooooooo relieved. and maybe a bit in shock as I am so used to getting bad news in the baby department. But all looks good! The baby is measuring right on schedule. Hooray! I am 7 weeks 4 days and my due date is Nov 9.

I'd really like to stay with the group--it has been such a source of support and info for me during a tough road. And I wanna cheer you all on to your BFPs! So please include me in 40plus II.

Renee~I am so happy you made a last minute escape from a life in Louisiana! I think Seattle will be awesome. Good goin, Girl! We must keep in touch--I wanna hear about your move and cheer you on in June!

WOW!! Lots going on here!! Congrats to all the BFP's, You girls keep me strong!!!

Wishing the rest of us baby prayers!!!!!!

Much Hope: I am so excited for you!! You must be sooo happy girl!

Kat: I have my WTF meeting on Monday...Update us ok?

Sis1: I'm keeping my fingers crossed very tight for you girl!!!

If I missed anyone I am sooo sorry!! So hard to keep up here, I'm wishing everyone the best. When i get more into this I will be able to chime in with more advice. Since this is my first IVF i'm pretty clueless so thanks to everyone on the board!!

OK...SOOO annoyed  My RE nurse called to tell me the inhibin and ovary reserve tests taken on day three on my last cycle needs to be taken AGAIN!!! WTF! They blamed it on Fed Ex saying it didn't make it to the lab frozen. I was like "does this mean this cycle a bust then?". We have our meeting on Monday with RE and he was supposed to tell us what protocol we are going with for my first cycle. I hope he can proceed without it cause I told them I have NO time to waste. How much do you want to bet he will say i have to cycle another month! All my tests were looking so good for this month. GRRRRR! I had a really good feeling about this cycle too!!! I gotta tell him were going with it!!!

Sorry, had to vent!! I don't want the loving hubby to take the brunt..lol, poor guy!

Question....I have a friend who has had a donor egg transfer and her BETA was 35 and two days later went to 93....they are staying this isn't great and it could be a miscarriage, an ectopic pregnancy, that the embryo isn't thriving OR a late implantation....anyone else have those numbers and were pregnant?? How could it be ectopic pregnancy when they PLACE the embryo??

Kelly.....can you help or anyone else?

Sue....great news to see the heartbeat!!

Sharon....wow, FED EX issue would have TICKED me off!!! The Dr.'s usually know best though so....they made me wait a cycle once and I was SO ticked off but I did get pregnant the next cycle so they were right!

Love to all,

Missy

it could be late implantation i have seen it on the baords and then go on to be a normal pg. however there is a chance of eptopic with ivf its like 2% but there is still a chance

I would rather hear from Kelly! but when you look at the beta site she posted http://www.betabase.info/showBasicChart.php?type=Single

it sure seems possible that her little one is going to make it. They only include in their study pregnancies that went on to have a heartbeat.

Sharon, i will pray that they can salvage your cycle. It seems to me they are rsponsible--and if nothing else--if they continue with this one and it is unsuccessful due to this error--they should comp you for another. I read about one clinic that (for example) would comp a round of ivf if their donor did not produde viable eggs that led to enough embies. It just seems that they have some responsibility in this. argh!!! stay calm if you can. im so sorry for this!

:o ONE HEARTBEAT :o

I am actually shocked--as we were really expecting two!!

they said the baby (chocolate sprinkle sized) is the size for 6 weeks 2 days (one day ahead of schedule). ALL LOOKS GREAT!!

what a relief! :D

We dont have to go shopping for the suburban (huge SUV) yet!

it's amazing how the betas can fluctuate--huh!

bonnie and missy... while I happy for both of you and wish you healthy pregnancies and healthy babies, I do find your posts a bit insensitive to some of the ladies here on the board... every baby is a blessing and understandably, multiples do require a mind adjustment, as well as a life adjustment, but your comments and emoticons/faces make them sound like more of a curse rather than something to be celebrated... there are several women here who are pregnant with multiples and I think that there are more mature approaches to celebrating each pregnancy... if you are thrilled that you're having only one baby, that's fine, but perhaps you should discuss your excitement with eachother via PM's, therefore remaining sensitive to ladies having multiples and ladies in the midst of trying to get pregnant with one (or more!).
