Hello Ladies
 Cynthia- Congrats on a great fertility report. I'm curious, was it Freedom pharmacy who screwed up and forgot your syringes. They did that to me along with so many other major errors (they didn't send my stim meds due to error on their end, and thank God that doc had extra meds to get me through until they shipped it, or I would have had to cancel cycle!), I refuse to do business with them anymore.
 Tabatha- Congrats on your fertility report also. Believe me, a lot of people would love to have 7 embies to work with, I think it's a great number- Keep Positive about it since you need to keep that womb nice and healthy.
As far as your chances, here is what RE told me, but he is very conservative. These are stats for day 3 ET- 35-40% with 1 embie, 40-45% with 2. Now for my age this clinic is getting close to a 50% clinical pregnancy rate with avg of 2-3 embies transferred. Each clinic & doctor have different numbers and rates. I would put a call into your doc and see what he recommends you do, and what the rates are for your situation (we all have different problems), age, etc. One of the things I read, since I was also having a very hard time deciding how many and when, was that you should not transfer more embies than you are willing to care for if you do get pregnant. You can do a selective reduction of fetuses, but they usually don't do it until anywhere from 9-14 weeks of gestation. For a lot of people this is not an option, either emotionally or spiritually. Like I said before, to me the when and how many was my biggest decision so far, and the factors are so different for everyone. Good luck with this tough decision. I have found though that once I made up my mind, I was able to relax and not focus on it any further :)
 Sportsmom- Welcome to the forum, get ready to do a lot of reading since we are a very busy group of ladies, that somehow find time to be on this thing, probably more than we should :D
As far as lupron, I got really itchy in the area around the injection for about 30 minutes also, this got better once I started the stims and the dosage of lupron was decreased. I never had the problems with my feet that your talking about, seems like that may be something else.
 Good luck to all you ladies,
Melanie

lets see my story:

this will be my first IVF. I have 3 boys from previous marriage and had tubal ligation 12 years ago. My DH also has a male factor as well. The RE seems to think our chances are good since so far all my labs came back excellent and he's being under treatment for his condition for 6 months and is currently in normal range. Wish us luck!

Sportsmom, Welcome to the board! Seems the most common side effect reported here were headaches. I for one had one constantly for about a week. I also had bad night sweats. If you experience those, I was advised by a friend to sleep in full pajamas (top and bottoms) and the clothing absorbs the sweat instead of waking up hot in a "pool" of sweat on your sheets :P This worked for me.

Melanie, no it wasn't Freedom. That's who my RE uses but with my insurance I HAD to go through Caremark Specialty Pharmacy. I don't know what they were thinking. I made sure to get it delivered a day in advance for this very reason. But then they wouldn't send syringes over night. The earliest I could get them would be Monday and I need to start them tonight. You'd think since they were the ones to goof up, they'd make an exception!!! I'm sure if I would have demanded it they would have but I'm in a good mood today so... I did get worried when I got to the first pharmacy and they didn't have the needles I needed. Then we tried Walmart. You can always count on good old Walmart!! They had boxes and boxes. So I'm all good now

Hi Everyone. I'm not sure I can catch up on everyone to do personals. My heart goes out to those receiving bfn's. I understand the pain. I just have 5 more days til my beta test. I've been ok in the 2ww...just the usual analyzing every symptom I get. I've been bloated every evening since ER. I called my RE's office and they said it meant my ovaries were swollen and that was a good thing. Since they left this on my voicemail, I'm still wondering why it's a good thingto have swollen ovaries. They said I mainly feel it in the evening because I've been up on my feet all day. Has anyone else experienced this?

cymplicity- congrats on your first pio shot, I am glad it wasn't as bad as you were dreading.

Sportsmom- welcome to our lovely thread. I added you to our list. We will be cycling just days apart, I start stims on 4/10.

Lionoe- Congrats! We really needed a bfp here! 282 sounds like a good strong number, how many days past transfer were you and how many days between your retrieval and your transfer? That will give us a better idea of whether or not your numbers are high.

aims- hang in there, just 5 more days till beta, are you going to poas? We will be praying for your bfp too.

Ok, I will catch up with everyone else tomorrow, have a good night!

CT_Michelle - I haven't decided if I'm going to poas yet. I did my other 3 tries and it was so devasting not to see 2 lines. So, for right now, I think I'm going to wait it out and enjoy being PUPO. It's the closest I've been to being pregnant.

Lionoe, CONGRATS!!! Finally a BFP on this thread!!!! That sounds like a strong number to me! Are you smiling from ear to ear???

aim327, the docs say that the bloating is a good sign because usually you suffer more OHSS symptoms (bloating) if you're pregnant!! I got OHSS SO BAD that I was hospitalized for 8 days and it was because I was pregnant!! Hopefully you can only suffer minor bloating (swollen ovaries--OHSS) and have a BFP! I'll be really anxious to hear!!

Sportsmom, Welcome! Did your doctor recommend the IVF option over possible reversal of the tubal ligation? I have a friend who is regretting her tubal ligation...now thinking of more children.

Cymplicity, I'm so happy that your PIO shot wasn't bad tonight. I think you were the one I scared...and I apologize! I start the suppositories next Thursday. I'm nervous for the constant leakage! ...and the fact that the PIO worked for me with my son!

Hello to everyone else! Thinking of you all!

AFM, I'm on Spring Break...finally! Hoorhay! I get to enjoy a few days before my FET on Thursday! I plan to play with my little guy (he's two) a lot...because after my ET, no lifting him...that breaks my heart. I hope that it will be worth it. My husband will really have to pick up the slack and we'll have to do a little more coordinating. Overall my son can get from here to there on foot, but he still sleeps in a crib and he isn't real good about climbing into his car seat alone. So, I'll have to be pretty conscientious about not automatically picking him up!

I'll have to change my signature tomorrow to say that I'm 32! It's my birthday. My DH and I will be going out on a date. My mom is watching our son!! I'm not hesitant about my age except that the older I get, the more my IVF chances go down. However, I fully know that I'm still young!! Plus, my embryos were made when I was 29...so hopefully my odds don't go down! What do you all think??

Happy Weekend to you all!

CT Michelle,

I did my ER on 3/12 and transfer on 3/17. So I believe that I am on day 15? I transferred two blastocysts, so I am wondering if the count is any indication of both implanting.
