March/April cycle buddies??

AIMS

Yes for the most part I have been bloated, constipated, gassy and my breasts of course have been very tender. Other than a few cramps here and there that's about it. It was weird because I had no implantation bleeding or anything that people have described. I was very surprised when the nurse said you are "definitely" pregnant.

You will be in my thoughts over the next few days. The one piece of advice I have is stay positive!!!

sbr & Lionoe - Thanks for giving me some hope. My nurse did mention OHSS. She told me as long as long as I didn't get severe abdominal pain, decreased urination, and shortness of breath, I was ok. All I know is I feel different on this try than my previous 3 tries. I'm scared to get my hopes up.

Lionoe- Well, I think your numbers sound just above the normal range. So it could be one, could be two...here are two resources for you to look at.

This one is a chart I found that gives you "normal" ranges-

This one is an hcg calculator. You need your second beta to use it, but you can put in your first beat and then make up a second value, just so you can see where you fall on the chart. Then when you have your second beta, you can put in the real number. I used this calculator a lot during my first pregnancy.

Well re just called I have et tomorrow and I now have 9 embies apparently 2 were late bloomers I'm a nervous wreck still can't decide on 2 or 3

Hi Ladies, just a quick update went in for my day 6 u/s and I have 8 follies 11mm and about 12 that are <9mm hopefully by my next u/s on monday they will all catch up....

Lionoe- Congrats on your BFP!! How exciting! I'm so happy for you!

Hazel, My accupunture went good. It's strange since you don't really feel much and it makes you wonder if it's really doing something. But if the statistics say it helps then it can't hurt to try. It is really relaxing. Hope you get to start your stims soon!

Cynthia, Congrats on 10 eggs being fertilized!

Tabatha, Did they give you a grading yet on your fertilized embies? I would maybe go by how they were graded in helping you to decide on how many to transfer. Good luck!

Sarah, Happy Birthday!!

AFM: I've been stimming all week and have my u/s on Monday. I've been feeling bloated but mostly just at night. I'm trying to have positive thoughts and hoping that I have alot of follies growing in there.

i am so aggrevated they call me early this morning catch me asleep told me to be there at 0730 for et they did'nt tell me the quality or anything else of my eggs she just said the 7 i had already fertilized looked good and i had 2 more that fertilized i wanted to do a 5 day transfer because every where i read they are better than 3 days has anyone ever had bfp on 3 day transfer???/

Tabatha, if RE is choosing to do a 3 dt over the 5 day, you've trust them this far so just trust them on this one too

Plenty of women have gotten BFP with 3dt!! My clinic believes in getting the embryo back in the uterus ASAP and I'm comfortable with that approach. There are many factors that come into play so you have to evaluate them all and see where you fit and not assume one is better than the other because a few women say so. What worked for them may not work for you and could be why RE decided on the 3 day. Of course I'm bias since I'm doing the 3dt and I can't wait to get these embabies in tomorrow!

ER is officially on Tuesday, March 31st. Had an appointment today and they were going to do it Wednesday but my E levels are WAY up so its Tuesday!!!

Wow ladies!!! I was in page 35 and now is page 44...

I have a news for all ladies in the house... i still i can't believe it... today i was with my IVF Doc. and he did an ultrasound and we saw a black circle in my uterus, we couldn't believe it, but he did a blood test a.s.a.p and the beta came up 617... yes I'm pregnant!!!

I asked the doc, how this can be possible?... i was bleeding and passing tissue after surgery and all those med and anesthesia...????

I'm crying because i can't believe it and because if the embryo doesn't form this 12 week i will have other appointment with the hospital and painful experience... or if it happen to end to a full term this it will be an amazing a miracle!!

Wow what a drama with my life!!!

So Michele, this is confusing for your track list, isn't?

Hi Everyone,

Babymex- yes, I am quite confused. Maybe you can explain your situation again??? I know you had your first beta and it was real low, and then they said ectopic, right? I thought then you went for surgery and they said it was in your intestines? Have you been taking progesterone this whole time? A beta came back positive today... Did they say it may be a viable pregnancy? I am so lost with your whole situation...please keep us updated and let us know what happens

latino- yay for ER on tuesday! That means trigger tonight right? Enjoy your stim free day tomorrow.

tabatha- I am proof that 3 days work, my beautiful little Ella was a 3dt. And I have seen many other success stories from 3 days. Like cymplicity said, I am sure your doc knows what is best for you.

trying- good luck at u/s tomorrow, I will keep my fingers crossed for lots of follies.

dys- 8 at 11 sounds good and I am sure some of the others will catch up too. Make sure you let me know...and Ella looked awesome in the bathing suit this morning, I will send you a pic

ok, I gotta go and make some food, I am hungry, I have been running around all day, Ella is finally napping, it is so nice out, I might take her for a walk when she gets up. Talk to you all later.

CTMichele, I actually trigger tomorrow night at 10:30 pm (Sunday night). Tonight, I take my usual Menopur dose. Tomorrow, I take Lupron,Menopur and Gonal F in the am. Tomorrow night just the lupron and then the trigger.
