Hi Kathryn,
Good Luck, you should be testing any minute. It must be a positive if you haven't had af yet. My af came on Saturday - day 14 and I have never had a regualr period in my life.
So I am sure you are. Everything is crossed for you and dh.
You've done so well not to test. Tonight is going to be so special for you.

Hi girls
I'm afraid a got a bloody negative :( :( :x
I am so gutted but glad I waited until dh got home... he couldn't have coped being away at a time like this. Last night I just cried and cried and just can't think of anything else now apart from when did it go and where is my little emby now?
And to top it all af started this morning just to rub it in even more incase I wasn't sure.
We'd decided that this would be our last fresh try and that we would hopefully have had some frosties from this time to try an fet next but of course we didn't have any spares. However being on this site and seeing so many other people who have tried, failed and then succeeded makes us think about trying again. We have a lot to think about. This time was not meant to be.

Kathryn, I'm sorry you didn't get the result you and DH deserved. Take your time before making any big decisions.

Don't forget to come on and vent whenever you want, because it isn't BLOODY FAIR.

love
Debra.

kathryn, i'm so sorry it didn't work this time. it difficult to not think about what happens/goes wrong and where the embies go. i know it's hard to keep at this both financially and emotionally. maybe take some time before making any decision, and whatever you decide you can always change your mind!

best wishes,

phil

Thanks everyone for your postings today. It's been a great support. I've printed them all and will take home to show dh. He needs a bit of support too. He's trying to be brave for me but I know he just wants to cry. I have taken the advice and plan a night of wine and chocs!!
We are going to go away for the weekend somewhere in the country with the dog so we can either think about things or forget about everything for a few days. It's amazing how perceptive animals are isn't it? The dog normally hates us cuddling but last night when dh and I were holding each other in tears, she just came and sat next to us and nuzzled us. She spent the entire night giving me kisses... nice thought but she's in season and her kisses are not pleasant!!! Just as long as she doesn't end up with a bfp!! :o
It's funny how in this situation you can't always turn to friends as they don't know what you're going through, but via this site we can talk to complete strangers who have now become such good friends.
Thanks everyone... I might just try again you know! :)

Hey Kathryn,
So sorry to hear your news. Is unfair and rotton and suckful.
Your dog sounds absolutely gorgeous, did I read correctly that she's a border collie?, I think they'er really clever too aren't they?.
I agree with what the other girls have said. At the moment, go hard on the chockies, the wine, the hot baths, and the cuddles with your dh.
Please don't give up Kathryn. I've read of SO many women on this site who have been pregnant after their third or fourth or firth try, so it WILL STILL HAPPEN.
Thinking of you at this time
Belinda
