Hello:

Sorry I've been MIA. It was a busy weekend. First of all, Congrats to all BFP's. I almost cry when I read all the post since Thursday, to see the post moving to BFP's make me chivers. For those whose getting bad news, hang in there, God will hear your prayers. And for those stimming, keep on working.

AFM, I went to my app on Friday and the RE saw 8 follies, between 12 and 20 (measure). My DH did a sperm analysis to froze just in case. Then they called me for instructions. I got to trigger on Saturday and ER on Monday. Well, yesterday my DH has to do another analysis, and his Dr. Told him, with a big smile, The test was a whole lot better on Friday, and even better yesterday. My RE and the nurse was very happy, because it was a big consern and I didn't want a donor.

ER was fine. I didn't feel a thing. They got 7 eggs. I know is not to much, but when I was in and out of sedation I ask my RE, "Is that enough?" and he laugh, "what, do you want more than 7 kids, what are you going to do".

Right now I'm waiting for the call to know how my little angels are doing. This is exciting, I'm a nervous wreck. I started the progesterone suppositories and inj. this morning.

Well, girls, keep on praying, that is the presciption that didn't fail. I'll let you know as soon as they call me.

Sari- Glad to hear that ER went well, and SA. 7 eggs is a good number...and as we always say here, it only takes one! Any idea if you will be a 3day or 5 day transfer?

dys- I am still here! Just haven't had much to add about myself, so trying to respond to everyone when necessary. I am glad to here your e2 levels came down and can keep stimming. I will still pray for trigger on wednesday so you can have friday off though.

sisi- I am so sorry to hear af is here. keep taking the progesterone until the blood test, this thread is proof of crazy things happening. We will miss you, but we understand you not wanting to be around. It is very hard to continue on these threads when we get devastating news. We are all praying for you and wish you the very best. We will be here if and when you decide to come back.

babyluv- I am sure the 2 day will be just fine. Hopefully it will work for you this time.

trying- 10 follies sounds great! Sounds like trigger on April fools day!

kimbob- you said hi to everyone but didn't give us much of an update on yourself. How are you doing? Anything happening in th ivf world for you or anything exciting in the regular world?

lionoe- looks like you are still on the high side...I am thinking twins!

To all those who asked- I was told last time no sex during the 2ww. Also no swimming, baths, no lifting more than 20lbs. After we got our bfp, I think we still did not have sex for a long time- we were too scared. I think RE gave us the all clear after our first u/s.

I haven't posted much, not too much to say, but I am reading all the time, so keep the updates coming. I am also updating our list as necessary. The baby has been keeping my busy lately. Now that the weather is getting nicer, I am getting out more too, or atleast I am trying to get out more. But don't worry, I am not going anywhere, still just waiting for this week to finish so I can get off bcp's and move on to cycling with everyone, I am anxious to get started.

BETA: 623 up from my 289 on Sunday morning- so far so good, now I've got to wait until 4/22 for the u/s for the heartbeat. Am struggling with whether or not to take our 6 1/2 year old son with us............................................. your thoughts on this????? So opens another can of worms- but I'll take 'em!!!

I am so overwhelmed, I can't keep up with everyone, but am wishing everyone waiting, stimming, and mourning BFNs only the best and a bountiful bunch of blessings and baby dust!!

We are so blessed to have eachother!! I will certainly keep up with the posts, or continue to try. I'll be back if we have bad news come the 22nd, but I'm so hopeful we won't.

XOXO!

Hi everyone,

Congratulations all you BFP'S thats what we like to see!!! We have some miracles on here with Babymex and Nicole, amazing journeys!!!

Sis my thoughts are with you,

I just wanted to say to Cynthia that I have exactly the same reaction with that drug, I took it for a throat infection years ago and I was sick on the hour after taking each pill with such painful stomach cramps I was doubled over, so sounds like it could be an allergic reaction you have had, hope its over for you now.

I don't post much but am still with you all, am taking a couple of months off to have some long awaited holidays so will pop in now and again in between getting my sun tan!!

Take care and lots of positive energy coming your way,

Lee xx

Lee, I am SO happy to hear you say that! Not happy you went through it of course :) But I've been searching for more info and hadn't come across anyone with symptoms similar to mine. At least I can go back to RE and let her know for sure in case other women in the clinic experience something similar.

Hi all -
Just crashing your thread to give some info.

BABYLUV123 - My clinic only does 2 day transfers. The success rate at this clinic (for your age) is 71.4% of transfers resulting in clinical pregnancies. I'd say that's a pretty good indicator of 2 day transfers working. It worked for me with my first. They also freeze on day 2, so that if you do a FET, they thaw and give 24hours to grow for a 3dt. I am in the middle of my 2ww to see if that works too! Good luck!

OMG, this is driving me crazy. If it is like this now, I can't imaging how I'm going to be when I wait for the beta results. It's 3:30 pm and my RE haven't call me. My mind is like a storm, thinking everything went bad and that's why they didn't call, I try to relax thinking, the RE is still seeing patients in his office and that's why he haven't call. It's true what you all said, this is a waiting game. At the end we will have the patience of Noe (Bible). First he waited for the rain to came, then waited for the rain to stop and then waited for the land to dry. You know what, Noe will be my name from now on.

dys24, I was taking 1500mg of Metformin but a month ago, I had a stomach flu that's why I was ordered by my primary doc to stop taking it while I'm sick. Last week, I started taking metformin again but started with 750mg then I'll start with the 1500mg today. Aside from metformin I take folic acid, Lupron 10 units. I'll start my stimulation by April 11. This is my first cycle of IVF..I'm praying to have BFP on my first cycle. God help us all.

Wow! This forum is so active it took me 5 mins to find my original post!! Thanks for the warm welcomes.

I took my first Buserelin injection yesterday and commended myself for being very brave! Buserelin is my 'down regulation' drug which I take up to and along side Gonal-F.

Thanks cymplicity27 your story is very positive and I really hope it works out! Hard to beat perfect embryoes!!

Well, wish me luck! I have to take my second jab in 30 mins or so! That Gonal-F pen jab looks a bit scary - hopefully I'll be a pro by then though!!

In terms of diet and excersise, what do you recommend? Also is anyone having acupuncture for IVF?

Thanks again!

Em x
