March/April cycle buddies??

just a quick post for babyluv

I got pregnant twice with a 2 day transfer! In france, most of the transfert are day 2.

I got 3 days 3 embies put back yesterday! although doc is not happy because they are fragmented, I feel rather positive (and relief that I got to the ET part!)

Em - I am having accupuncture - it helps relax me and helps to improve follie counts/ lining quality and chance of implantation - i have not had it on previous 2 cycels but am willing to try anything this time

My Re just says healthy diet - avoid too much caffeine, no alcohol, easy on exercise and no sex during 2WW

tabatha /cynthia - sending you sticky baby dust on my previous cycles I had cramping - think some of it is side effect from ER and other is the progesterone kicking in .. keep up the pMA xx

wishing everyone much success in this journey to babylove :)My ER is tomorrow and if all goes well ET on Sunday i'm really excited, my DH has been so supportive throughout this journey, You all know how tough it is to be on an hormonal rollercoaster i was so scared that my husband would get fed up of me and leave me lol from what i've heard statistics are quite high

Babyluv.... dont worry about the 2 day transfer here in Montreal it is also common i was told that sometimes the earlier the better and from what i could see there are BFP from 2, 3 , and 5 day transfers so dont let this stress you and trust your doctor. positive vibes to all

Well today is the day..I'm getting ready to go get my beta test done. I've taken 4 hpt's and all positive, but I'm not very optimistic. I've had spotting for last 3 days, and the spotting increased a little. It's also starting to get more pinkish red instead of pinkish brown (sorry...tmi). It seems like the more the middle of my stomach cramps, the more I spot. I was up all night with this nasty cold I have plus my stomach cramping. So, it hasn't been a good start to my day.

I will let you know what I find out today!

Tabatha, I haven't had any cramping really, just weird twinges here and there. I'm blaming everything on the progesterone and estrogen though. Sucks that we can't really look for clear signs of pregnancy...we're so drugged up!

josee, good luck tomorrow! You're exactly 1 week behind me and Tabatha

wishful, thanks for the sticky dust and PMA...I need it!! With all my stomach issues lately I've been pretty negative and worried that it could have affected my embies

cymplicity - I am in New Haven (really close to Ft Wayne). I am not originally from here. I grew up in southern Indiana. I tell everyone, I live in Ft Wayne by marriage. lol

ER was yesterday. 15 eggs retrived, 14 mature, 9 fertilized. ET is Friday at 1 pm. I am still in pain. I didnt expect to be in so much pain from ER.

Hi everyone,

I just joined this message board today and this is my first post. I had my first IVF cycle this month. ET on Day 5 (3/29), we transferred one blast. The Dr. found a small polyp so recommended that we only transfer one the first time around. 5 made it to blast, so we have frozen four. First Beta is 4/4 and of course the wait is nearly impossible. I have been trying to read and find out how quickly the embryo implants and if I should be feeling anything yet. Wishing all of you the very best with your cycles!

i am also new to this posting so please bear with me if i don't know all the lingo. i have had two attempted ivf cycles. each cycle made it to stimming,so far both canceled due to low # of follicles(2nd attempt canceled march30th, 2009). on the second cycle, started on 10 units of follistim one week prior to menses. was taking 450u of follistim and 5 lupron once daily for first three days, then 450u twice daily with 5 units lupron and still low response with estradiol reaching only 537. i am only 33 and cannot go to iui because we are dealing with male factor and have frozen sperm. i am doing acupuncture as i've been told there is a greater chance of success. anyone else with similar cylcle or familiar patterns? we are using arc program and have had to pay out of pocket for canceled attempts.

danibug, I posted some info on what your embies are doing after ET earlier in the thread. I wouldn't dare make you look for it

Here it is:

this is what happens in a 3dt :

1dpt ..embryo is growing and developing
2dpt... Embryo is now a blastocyst
3dpt....Blastocyst hatches out of shell on this day
4dpt.. Blastocyst attaches to a site on the uterine lining
5dpt.. Implantation begins,as the blastocyst begins to bury in the lining
6dpt.. Implantation process continues and morula buries deeper in the lining
7dpt.. Morula is completely inmplanted in the lining and has placenta cells & fetal cells
8dpt...Placenta cells begin to secret HCG in the blood
9dpt...More HCG is produced as fetus develops
10dpt...More HCG is produced as fetus develops
11dpt...HCG levels are now high enough to be immediately detected on HPT

This is what happens in a 5dt:
