Hey everyone, this site has a cool pregnancy calculator, and helps you to figure out dates, even for IVF's, Fet's, etc. It tells you what dates to use. It can be found on the left side of this website (the one for this forum) under "Resourses"- Pregnancy Calculator.
The direct link is: http://www.ivf-infertility.com/calc_preg.php
Pretty neat for us all to figure out what our due dates would be if we get the BFP!
Thanks Cynthia for the calender idea. I like to look at it too to make it easier to track everyone.
Have a great day ladies!

kimbob and ct-michele - Thx for remembering me! WOW, the board has kicked up into high gear while I was away!

kimbob - I'm sorry about your BFN. How are you holding up?

ct-michele - looks like you'll be starting stims soon - I bet you can't wait!

AFM - I don't know that we will do a cycle in April. So much has been going on in our lives lately - it has been a bit of a whirlwind. Also, over the past month, I was reviewing my records and found that in Oct 2007 my AMH levels were tested and found to be non-existant. Apparently, it is believed that AMH levels may be a better indicator of ovarian response than FSH. BUT, low is not good and I was at 0.3. VERY low. Normal is 28 or higher.

Obviously, this is upsetting in itself, but I find it even more upsetting that RE never told me this nor changed my treatment accordingly. Now we have spent 2 cycles on protocols that were destined to fail. In the meantime, I am trying to get consults with other REs before we move forward.

Sorry for the pity party - having a rough day.

My best to all of you in process! I will keep an eye on the board and throw constant baby dust to all of you. :)

Looks like we had our ET on the same day! Let's hope we both see a BFP this time around!

Wow- I gotta try and catch up!

sprout-what are AMH levels? Even though I do not know what they are, I would be upset if RE didn't tell me that kind of info. Maybe it is good you are trying to consult with others, just to see who or what is out there. Where are you from again? Make sure you let us know when you are going to cycle.

cymplicity- thanks agin for posting the "what happens after transfer." I have seen that posted a couple of times and find it very helpful. I will go and put in my dates on the calendar after I am done posting.

dys- so when is trigger?? Tonight?

We all knew it was coming, but it is still nice to get the official word. And 250 is a nice strong number.

Danibug, Blunder, Josee- Welcome to your both! This thread really is growing!

To any newbies (for lack of a better word)- If you would like your name added to our list, and I haven't gotten you up there, please just post a little reminder...say, hey CT_michele...can you please add me to the list (and be sure to include all of your info, like stim start, expected ER/ET, or beta date) This way I will see your post and it won't get lost and I can add you to the thread list.

latino- glad to here ER went well. ( fertilized is great, and I remember ER being sore too. Hope the pain lessens or goes away soon.

afm- unexpected call from clinic today. They want to repeat the sonohystogram. That is what identified the polyp last time that delayed me a month. I can understand them wanting to repeat it, but I told dh I will be so mad if there is another one and I get delayed again. So they scheduled it for monday, and pushed my supression check until tuesday. It is all coming so fast, I will just be glad to get going though.

Ok, I guess I have to try and post more frequently in order to keep up with you all...

:D AFM: Update: Tomorrows appt was cancelled due to RE having a lot of ER's and ET's. So they were able to get me in today! Yeah. I love not waiting!! Anyway I got good news about my FET. My uterine lining at this point is 9 mm (anything above 7mm is good). Also, if I ovulate, my cycle would be cancelled, and I was dreading that. I just knew that he was going to find follicles growing (which means I would most likely ovulate). Anyway, both ovaries look quiet at this point. He did a progesterone and estradiol blood draw as well. I asked him what these are for, he says he wants to make sure the E2 is at a certain level, and that the progesterone is very low right now. Good to know for you girls doing FET's. Apparently a higher progesterone would indicate my bodies trying to ovulate.
Anyway, so far so good. I have to see him on Monday 4/6 for another U/s and B/w to make sure I didn't ovulate. If I don't, then we're still on track for a single blastocyst transfer on 4/12 (Easter!) The cute part is that it would mean I would get beta on 4/21 which is DH's birthday :)
How cool would that be to be able to tell him I got a BFP 8)
Well my mood is obviously much improved. Just wanted to share since I was so depressed last time I wrote.

CT MIchele - Can you tell me what experience you've had in the RE finding a polyp? Mine recommended to proceed with the transfer. Do you know the size and what action are they taking?

Thanks so much for sharing!

danibug- Well, I do not know what the size was, but he saw it on the sonohystogram (saline u/s). It was big enough during that to see there was something there. Then I went for th office hysterocop to confirm it was actually a polyp. He told me they would not do a transfer with the polyp there because it reduces the chances of implantation. I had to have the polyp surgically removed at the hospital. After he took it out, he said it was a decent size and was in a place where it most likely would not have prevented implantation, but when ivf is a numbers game already, why reduce your chances at all. The polyp removal delayed me one cycle, because I had to stop bcp's for the surgery, have the surgery, wait for af and then start bcp's again. I am getting close to cycling now, but I guess they want to check and make sure everything is gone, or nothing else grew since the surgery.

All I know is that this RE helped me have a baby during my first ivf, and for my first cycle, there was no polyp found, so I developed it most likely during pregnancy or just after delivery. He said it had to come after, because if I had it for my first ivf they would not have done the transfer without removing it. When I go to see them monday I will see if my chart says how big it was, because I was curious anyway.

CT_Michele - Thanks so much for the info. They didn't find my polyp until CD10 via US and they said it was about 7mm. I think that's fairly small, but still significant enough. I think they would have cancelled the cycle had they found it sooner, but I was already out 5k of the meds and everything, so they said to go for it. Hope the coast is clear for you and you can proceed with this cycle!

My first Beta is this Saturday......aaaaaaaahhhhhhh :)

josee- I really think it is different for everyone. For my first ER I was very nervous, just like anytime going under anesthesia. They said it was a "woozy" anesthesia, but I fell asleep and don;t remember any of the actual procedure. I woke up in a small recovery area, the RE told me how many eggs I had, and I had some pretty bad abdominal pain. They gave me some pain meds, and were trying to sit me up within 15 minutes or so. I was pretty sore for a couple hours, but it slowly went away, and the pain meds helped. I did go back to work the day after, so I know it wasn;t that bad the next day. There have been many women here that feel nothing from ER and others who have pain for a couple days, so there really is no way to know how you will react. Good luck tomorrow, and we will be praying for lots of little easter eggies!

Josee, mine was pretty much the same as Michele's. I remember laying on the table and the embryologist asking my name and birthday and the next thing I know I was "coming to" in recovery! I didn't feel a thing and no pain. When I got home I think I felt a little pain coming on (very mild) and took some tylenol and it went away. Like Michelle said, it's different for everyone. Before going in to mine I found not a lot of people talked much about their ER and no one every came back with horror stories so I think you'll be fine

Sarah, good luck tomorrow!!

Melanie, so glad things are working out for you! You scared me there for a second and I thought they were canceling you appt!! :? :D

Sorry for all the post guys, but in this 2ww I have nothing better to do than stalk this board! LOL
