hi everyone hope you guys are all doing well...its a pretty busy weekend for a lot of you. I just got the phone call that we have 4 embryo's ready for transfer tomorrow we're excited i was so scared that there wasnt any that were going to take now im going to try to have a more stress free day just about to leave to my acupuncture app. Positive vibes to everyone

I m officially PUPO now.
they transferred two 4 celled grade 2 eggs.

(last time there were grade 1 eggs but I still got a BFN)

I m keeping everything crossed . beta on 4/18

so I m now in 2WW ....any advice

Hi ladies. I have not posted in long time but have been following everyone. Good luck to all the ladies on the 2 ww.

AFM, we had the ER a few weeks ago. We got 36 eggs. 31 fertilzed and are frozen for an fet next month.

Wishing-- WOW!! 31 embies? At what point did you freeze? Day 3, day 5? Why did you not tranfer? We are also doing ER and waiting to transfer to use our insurance before we lose it. My RE only will freeze embies that make it to blast.

Hi Neffi21 - we froze the embies at day 1. The reason is my dr thinks I have poor embryo quality and we are doing PGD with the FET. Also, I have only gotten pregnant with my 3 FETs, not my 2 fresh transfers. All 3 were chemicals, which is why he thinks I have poor eggs.

I see that embryo quality might have been an issue with you too. What worked for you? I love hearing stories of succes from other women who have had chemicals.

Wow, what a busy board this is!@!! I kind of saw the list that michelle has going on and was so shocked at how many others were after me already!!!
I am still here sending everyone love and positive baby dust who is waiting or about to have transfers!!
Im STILL waiting for af to arrive...then i will finally be a DAY 1!! Im feeling excited but scared and all of that at once.
This week was a big one for me, I finally told my work mates about our IVF.they were very supportive,especially since one of them has been there already. I guess it made me feel less alienated to actually speak to someone in the Real world about it.
So there seems to be a lot of newbies around here which is fanatastic.. I love reading all your stories and since I never seem to get the chance to reply to personals I hope that EVERYONE is happy and in a good place!

Wow, this thread really slows down on the weekend. Hopefully it is because you are all out having a ton of fun!

I just wanted to stop in and see how everyone is doing. I have a busy ivf week coming up myself, sonohyst tomorrow, supression check tues., injection class wednesday and injection start on friday, so I will pop in a few times this week and keep you all updated.

I picked a bunny since it is so close to easter, and this bunny happens to be playing one of my favorite video game! What's better than that!

I think my husband is calling out of work tomorrow. We have such a busy week and I want to get up to the mall so we can get a picture of Ella and the easter bunny. I took some at the aster brunch I went to yesterday, but the bunny was creepy looking and I couldn't get a good pic. We also want to get professional pics done of her, maybe in her easter dress. We have not done any pro pics because we take hundreds of digital pics and the print quality is so good from home, but I do want atleast one posed pic for her baby book. Of course I know I will come home with a huge package I am sure. We were gonna go today, but the mall is just too busy!

Ok, gotta go get dressed and find some food. I cheated so bad yesterday, it was probably the most sodium I have had in months...easter brunch and then we had pizza last night, so I have to be good all week so I can cheat next sunday for easter.

Cymplicity- I just started my PIO shots a couple days ago and my RE prescribed me a numbing cream. It's called Lidocaine. It really works good. I can't feel a thing when my DH does my shot. It's wonderful! I noticed I do feel a bit maybe about an hour later, but it's not too bad. I have been doing the heat pack and massaging it right after as well. So far so good. I recommend that Lidocaine to everyone!

I got a call yesterday from my RE. 13 out of 16 of our eggs fertilized! We will get a another call on Monday morning to see if we are going to do a 3 or 5 day transfer. My RE said she is hopeful it will be a 5 day. This waiting is kinda hard...I just want my embies in me now! I'm looking foward to being in the 2ww.

Hi Ladies,

Just a quick update on my ER yesterday, they got alot of eggs but 10 were mature and 9 fertalized. I'm going in for transfer on Tuesday and beta is April 18th. Hopefully I'll have some nice quality embies on Tuesday. RE seems very pleased from what I had last time and thats what he was aiming for around 10 not hyperstimulating with 28 like last time ... I hope he's right

Well ladies--

ER went well. 18 eggs, 10 were mature but RE said some of the others are close and could still fertilize. We discuseed our concerns for freezing with him today and the fac that we will probably be switching insurnaces soon, so we were willing to do the transfer even though Jack is only 10 weeks old. RE agreed and said we cando the transfer so we will just see how the embies do. With DHs morphology and not doing ICSI becasue of my screwed up eggs, we could have very few that fertilize, but we should know tomorrow. I feel like I am crazy getting pregnant so fast.....I would actually have 2 babies in 2009! But how is that any different than twins? I was ready for that the first time! I just feel that if we dont do it know, and insurance changes, who knows when we will have $4000 to do a FET?? and who even knows that it would only take one FET?? ANy thoughts would be nice....am I crazy???? I feel like I should take them when I can get them.

Wishing-- Yeah the thing that worked for us was to not do ICSI becasue the needle was harming my eggs. DH has 1% morphology....but we did get 3 fert eggs last time on their own? So thats what worked for us.

Neffi- Yes, it does sound crazy, but I agree, how is it any different than twins? I worry about all of the work too, with ella only being 7 months now, and your Jack is under 3 months, but people do it with more babies and less resources all the time, and they manage just fine. I am such a financially minded person, I would probably do the transfer, especially if it is going to be covered under your insurance now. My only concern would be if you body was ready for another pregnancy so quick, but if RE says ok, and you feel good, then why not? How exciting! You will have to let us know what you decide to do.

dys- I have been waiting for your post! I am so glad to hear you ER went well, and 9 fertilized eggs is awesome! Hopefully your dr is right, and since you had so many less this time, they are of better quality. Does your place give you an update, or the next time you hear anything will be at ET? Try to rest up and enjoy your few days off. Call me if you need anything or want to talk...I will be home tonight and here in between running to the clinic this week...

Trying- 13 out of 16 sounds great! Wow, all such great fert reports today. I would think with that many, as long as they continue to grow, you would be doing a 5 day. Let us know when you know...

Thanks for all the prayers and good wishes. Congratulations for all of the PUPO girls. Hey, 31 embies, 18 embies, very good numbers for some of the girls. This is a very exciting week.

I haven't imaging how hard and stressful this 2WW are. Looking for every little sign. But, enjoying being PUPO. We had to tell my sister and MIL, and they scream and jump, even buy gifts for the baby. I told them is too early, but they said they have faith, and they know for sure everything will be allright.

I don't know if its my imagination, only being 3dpt, but feel so sleepy, and a little dizzy, ohh, and hungry. My belly is changing too.

You know, the Nurse gave some advice that I haven't hear before. Not to sleep in my belly and don't shower with hot water. Does that made any sense for you.

Well, got to go. My DH forbide me to seat in the computer for a couple of days and I'm hiding.

Sari, we had our transfers on the same day, 4/2! The 2ww is so hard! I started out so crampy and bloated the first two days, and now that I'm feeling nothing I'm worried. What day is your beta? Mine is 4/14. I can't wait! Are you going to POAS? I didn't think I was going to, but I bought a couple...I never imagined the 2ww would be this hard! Thankfully I go back to work tomorrow!

hi everyone! today is my ER, i woke up 5am couldnt sleep.. im in the toilet all the time peeing..it takes 3 hrs to drive to clinic.. i couldnt stay long in the car.. im having hyperactive bladder.. is this common?

hazel- i hope you feel more comfy with your injection pen now.. time passes by so quickly.. when nurse told me monday is my ER.. i just realize.. oh this is it! i began to panick! i hope it's not that bad..

sari- im impressed with your RE when he volunteered to pray for you.
