Hello my beautiful mommas and soon-mommas-to-be!!!

Well, KERPUPPLES, I suspect that I will be the one hanging out here with you the longest. Though I'm tired, heavy, my feet and hands are swollen...I don't see any obvious sign of labor yet...this little one might be here until the due date. I really thought she was going to come early, but I'm loosing hope of that and just accepting that I need to wait and let my body do "its thing!" The good thing is that I've been getting ready slowly but surely and I feel more prepared now. There are still a few things that could get done, but even if she came today, we should be fine :)

The one thing that it's hard to do is to concentrate on school work. ALL I WANT TO DO is related to this baby: clean, organize, fix, shop, dream, so on and so forth.

I realize that I never commented on your scared. OMG...sounds scary, but I'm SO SO happy it was just that: a scare and that your little one is just fine. It's so interesting how we worry so much about every little thing. Last night I told DH that I think I'm going to be checking on our daughter's breathing every hour until I get used to having her around and feel confident that she is here to stay...geezz...how much we love these little ones!

JENNY: you are next!!! your c-section is on Friday, right? I'm thinking about you and sending you TONS of great vibes for a wonderful delivery.

ALREADYBLESSED/ BABYLOVES--can't wait to hear your stories. Sending love.

SONU--so good to hear from you! kisses to beautiful ANAY. My hormones are overflowing too. Heck! I go from crying about nothing to being angry over nothing. I've been snapping at dh every single day over things like food

MICHELLE--our facebook shower was very sweet! dh and I had a good time (we both have fb accounts). We laughed a lot and felt really loved by our friends/family. Some were chatting with us, others were sending private messages, and others posting sweet words on "our wall." I feel like printing those and saving them in a scrapbook of something. Oh, and we are now getting presents in the mail, which is cool!

SILVERANGEL---so exciting to hear from you. We appreciate you keeping in touch. Come back with more details whenever you have a chance. I told you this before, but I LOVE your twins names. I can't wait to see their gorgeous faces :)

Hugs to everyone :D

Hi Ladies, how funny that our group is dwindling since being a mom has so delightfully taken over typing in front of a copmuter with a big preggo belly for some of us already!!! hehe! Just wanted to give all the well wishes to everyone whos babes are here & very shortly on their way. Love to you & your son Sonu-Congrats again to Alreadyblessed & Babyloves-Silverangel, like Esperanza said-can't wait to see the pics-Kerpuppies & Esperanza-hang in there!! Esperanza-you only have 7 days left-has your doc given you a date when they will induce? If I wasn't having the c-sec, I swear this kid is no where near ready to be born-I haven't felt a thing. Tomorrow I go to the hospital for bloodwork, meeting the people in labor & delivery, finding out what time on Friday I will have the c-sec. It's almost surreal to me. My last day of work for a while was today, and it was almost like I couldn't beleive I was really finally going on leave to have a baby!!!! Yipeeeee!! I can't wait to meet him. Lots of Love to ALL!!! JENNY--wishing you a beautiful, healthy delivery this coming Friday!!!!

SO EXCITING  Same thing I've told the other gals...come back whenever you have a chance and update us with news and pics. Soon you'll have your beauty in your arms.

As for me, no, they haven't even mentioned the word induction. Well, my dh kind of asked at our last visit and our midwife said that they will consider it once past my due date (which is next week), before then, everything is normal and within schedule, so as we say back home I'm in "la dulce espera" (the sweet waiting time).

Cheers to all of us!

Hey girls!

Jennywit- I just wanted to stop by and wish you the best tomorrow too! Have fun at milford hospital, the nurses were awesome when I was there not that long ago. And I can't wait to see pics of your little bundle!

Esperanza- Good to see your still hanging in there! The facebook shower sounded really sweet. Maybe you could pm me and show me how to find it so I can see what it looked like in case I want to set one up for my future sister in law. Right now I am planning a real second shower for her. She lives 8 hours away, so she is coming down next month and we are going to have a small shower here for her, but I still think the virtual one would be fun since both sides of the family could do it at the same time and my brother could probably be invovled somehow too.

You are so close girl! I am so excited for you and dh. I check over here everyday and everytime I see you posting, I wonder if it is with the good news. We started this journey together way back when and I am so glad to see you finally get your happy ending. Your little ballerina will be here in a matter of days! I will keep checking on you and try to enjoy the next week. What you are about to experience is so magical and like nothing else you have ever experienced in your life!

Jenny ...best wishes for tomorrow....ITS A BIG DAY!!! Also wishing speedy recovery. :) thanks for the wishes for anay

Esperanza Hey girl...your little one will be here even before you will know it, its just the matter of few days. Though I never managed to reach your stage,,,but I can just imagine how heavy you must be feeling. You would be knwing the weight of the baby. Looking forward to hear the birth story.

alreadyblessed...hw are u doing, honey? hope all's well at your end.

Kepepples...soon you will be joining the league. :)

CT Michele - BCP will be ending soon and now you will be on spree of folly making...I wish you the best for eveyrthing, When do you hv your procedure? I was also debating myself to go for the next baby. We have three frozen embabies in the lab. Thinking when will be the best time. :)

Lit..I know your hands must be full with three babies. Anay is so demanding and takes almost my whole day..I can just imagine hw busy yoy wud hv gotten.

Babyloves...Congratulations again!! Hope you are doing great with two lil princess. Mothers help comes quite handy at this time. Oh I miss my mom so much. she was with me for about a month after anay's birth.

We are doing great so far. anay had his second set of vaccination. H ehas gained good weight and now he is approx 4 kgs now. :)
I discussed burping issue with the doc, he said tht, whether the baby burps or nt, he/she has to be in uproght position on shoulder for 10-15 mins and then lasid on the bed sideways for half an hour and then only make him lay straight.

Rest all fine...enjoy!!!

jenny- I was in a room right across from the nursery! Room 359, not in the first hallway when you walk in. When you first walk in, if you take a right past the nurses desk and then a right like you are heading towards the c-sec room, it was one of the rooms on the left there. Wouldn;t that be something...it is already nuts we have the same RE and OB's offices and delivery hospital. Did you find out if Dr F does the c-sec himself or if he is joined by one of my docs too? Good luck to you and your family, we will be anxiously awaiting the news.

sonu- what is hv stand for? If that is the polyp removal, I already had it. My last bcp is monday and hopefully will start stime on good friday, the 10th.

Well, short post tonight, just had to stop and wish my local neighborhood buddy good luck tomorroe.

Hello ladies!
Sorry I've been off the thread for a while, but I am happy to announce that I have been busy tending to my beautiful new baby boy! :D :D :D
Daniel Christopher was born on Friday March 27th at 4:48p.m. He weighed 8lbs 3oz. and was 21 1/2 inches long. The c-section was difficult this time around due to the fact that I had a tremendous amount of scar tissue. I was actually in surgery for over 2 hours, and then I was so sick during the surgery with vomiting. It was not pretty. The next few days were much better though. We brought Daniel home on Tuesday March 31st which was my original scheduled c-section date. The newest challenge seems to be the breastfeeding. Although he latches on like a pro, he retracts his tongue and my breasts are soooo sore...bleeding..scabbing you name it. My lactation consultant came over and got me a prescription cream and I have been taking motrin, but I am praying his latch changes, or I am not sure how much longer my boobs can take it.
I am still in awe every time I look at his beautiful face. I have a SON! It's so overwhelming! My family truly feels complete. I look forward to coming onto this post and reading all the wonderful news that is still to come.
I WANT TO THANK EACH AND EVERY ONE OF YOU LADIES FOR YOUR AMAZING SUPPORT THROUGHOUT THIS INCREDIBLE JOURNEY. AS I SEE IT, WE MADE IT THROUGH THE HARDEST PART, AND THE BEAUTIFUL JOURNEY HAS ONLY JUST BEGUN. MAY GOD BLESS EACH AND EVERY ONE OF YOU, YOUR BABIES, AND YOUR FAMILIES!!!!!

Thank you Lord for this blessing
love and miss you gram and baby b

ALREADYBLESSED--my dear friend! CONGRATULATIONS! Daniel Christopher is here, and I'm so happy for you and your family. I think it's adorable how you say that your family feels complete now. Wonderful!

Sorry you had a tough time through the c-section, but I'm happy to hear that everything turned out wonderfully. Give a kiss to your little boy for me :)

I'm starting to feel crampy...maybe a good sign? we'll see.

Hi girls!!!!
Sorry I did not get around writing before. Yesterday I was so tired and sleepless that I caught myself rocking a bow of cereal that was on my lap while I read the headlines of a newspaper - after a long night of feedings and diaper changes. Thank God I didn't try to put the baby in the dishwasher!
It has been crazy since my tiny peanut third girl (Evelyn) came home. Two appeared almost manageable! Well, thing are gtting better as they are gaining weight and a nanny started yesterday.
Congratulations AlreadyBlessed, for your precious Daniel Christopher. He was born fulfilling a long waiting dream and I hope in his life he brings more joy to you and his father.
Joyful feelings also for you, Babyloves, now embracing a named joy, a hope that now has a face and the ability to respond to your loving action.
Hi Sonu ! Isn't great to say that you have been busy all day with you son? Waht about your sister, how are things? Does Anay have relatives nearby?
Ct_Michelle, good luck on your C-sec this coming March 10th! I was amazed at the power of sedatives...they didn't let me suffer that much. Hope they do the ssame for you!
How are things with you, Jennywit? I laughed thinking that you were so close to Ct_Michelle in real life :)
Esperanza, hope you have your ballerina in your hands by now! La dulce espera will bring a sweet ballerina to your lap...so you can dance together all sorts of Venezuelan, Haitian and American lullabies!
I hope this nanny (she is like a grandmother, in her 60's and very sweet) stays with us - then it will be easier to keep an eye on you girls. It has been a wonderful journey and I wish to celebrate the day the last of us holds her baby...
Best, best wishes, Literatriz

LITERATRIZ--so good to hear from you, and so wonderful to know that your three princesses are with you at home :D I laughed when I read about you rocking the cereal bowl, but I don't blame you sister friend. Your nanny sounds adorable, I hope everything goes well with her.

I'm still here en la dulce espera. I've been feeling more tired than usual today, don't know what's up...maybe a sign? I've been laying on the couch for the most part. I also continue to feel crampy, so something must be happening. My mom woke up with the feeling that I was going in labor today...she had a dream or something...we'll see.

Thank you Michelle and Kerpupples for keeping an eye on me ;)
