It's that very special time... When you constantly feel like throwing up! Last week I went from feeling fine to nausea 24/7 pretty much overnight. This has not been helped by the fact that I have a 45 minute ferry commute 2x a day. So far no untoward boat incidents; I seem relatively OK if I can snag one of the bigger benches and lay down with my eyes closed and try to pretend I'm not moving. Relatively is the key word here. I get carsick when my husband drives me to/from the ferry terminal, I get carsick when I drive myself to the store - heck, I practically get carsick from watching car commercials on TV. So far my big solution has been to not eat that much before traveling and pack a bucket in my car (which has come in handy). But even without moving, I seem to be getting into the habit of starting my mornings with a brisk round of dry heaves and I feel icky and headachy all day.
Anybody have any tips on good foods to eat? Anybody have any luck with motion sickness bracelets? Anyone else's husband take it as a personal affront that you can't decide what he should cook for dinner because the thought of all food makes you shudder? Any tips at all??

Hi, Wondercat. I just posted a message in the November thread about what I discovered with my nausea. Mine is made a whole lot worse by my prenatal vitamins. Maybe try not taking them for one day to see if that helps and if it does, talk to your doctor about trying different ones.
