I am day 2 post transfer and am having some mild abdominal cramping. My husband is concerned, but I am hoping this is normal. I had scheduled myself to go back to work this Saturday which will be after 3 days of taking it easy. Should be OK right? And is the cramping to be expected? Should I be worried?

I think that 3 days are enough depending how you feel , i did my ET on sunday and ive been home all week i figured 4 days was good but now its enough you have to get out and change your mind, as for the cramping i still have slight cramping but my doctor told me that it was normal, dont forget our ovaries just went through hell and they must be 3 or 4 times as large so dont worry its all normal take it easy, were you a 3 day transfer or 5 talk to you soon

bertvonn, I was back at work the day after transfer so 3 days is plenty. But do whatever your body (and RE) tells you to do. If your mind is more at ease taking it easy, then do that. I felt better going back to work. RE told me I could return to normal activities and just don't do anything strenuous (I sit at a desk all day). Some women take the full 2 weeks off and others go back to normal activities immediately and you'll get different results with everyone. I don't think either way has made or break anyone. I managed to get a bfp on a hpt (official beta is Monday) so I tend to think that getting back to work was ok Plus, I'd go crazy sitting around at home during the 2ww!!
I think the cramping is normal. I've felt so many different things since ER. I wouldn't worry too much unless it became severe and painful. I experienced everything from little twinges here and there to full on AF like cramps. I was actually welcoming craps because so many women talked about experiencing them with BFPs.
Good luck!

cimplicity - I'm glad to hear you felt full AF cramping (knowing you had your BFP). I'm feeling like that today. My body is in AF mode today (since last night), everything, back pain, cramping, bad mood and down mood, but no bleeding. Do you think is normal?
Sari, my PMS includes headaches, neckaches, cramps and lower back pain. I experienced ALL of this last week. The little neck pain I got was really weird because that's one of my for sure signs of pms. So yeah, don't get bummed out! I'm still praying for you

Thanks Cimplicity, I've been "googleing" 9dpt and AF symptoms, and it seems that a lot of people has Full mode AF symptoms on 9dpt, and got BFP's, but is scary. How are you feeling?
Sari, last few days I haven't been feeling anything much. Still some spotting though since about Thursday. Other than that it's been pretty uneventful When are you going to test again?

Good to read you're all feeling AF symptoms (well, you know what I mean ) and some of you have got BFP Hpts. I'm feeling that way...feeling quite down and annoyed. I've given up on taking any more HPTs. It was too hard to get the negatives even at 8dpt3dt and 9dpt3dt....I'm hoping I'll still get a positive on Tuesday (12pt3d)t, although, I'm not sure I will....
