hazel- they have not told me about ohss, but I am a little concerned. I am not sure they would tell me until it was crucial, I think they would do what they are doing, which is see me everyday and adjust accordingly. Dh's TESE depends on my ER. If ER falls on Tuesday, his TESE will probably be monday. If ER falls on Monday for me, they may be the same day or TESE might be sunday. The two offices will coordinate with each other, since my clinic will have to have a lab tech there so we can drop off his goods!

Also, I think I was just local anesthesia with sedation (woozy). Of course, I am affected a lot by sedation, so I slept through the whole thing. I am sure local is fine and what most people do here.

My clinic just called while I was typing. They said to drop my follistim to 250 (down from original of 375, and yesterdays dose of 300). They also told me to bring a box of ganerelix with me tomorrow morning at my u/s, so I am guessing I will start to add agnerelix tomorrow, which is exactly what happened last cycle. I asked her for my levels and she said LH was 1.3, and estrogen was 734. I know nothing about these numbers, does anyone know what they mean? She said they were good on the phone.

Michelle,

Holy egg mama!! That's great news, but like someone else said, and I'll echo, be aware of OHSS!! Like I've told my story over and over again, it's awful. It's especially bad if you get pregnant and they don't cancel the cycle, so I'd make sure to ask your doc about the signs and symptoms. (I was in the hospital for 8 days and simply wanted to die and then the side effects didn't really subside for a good 6-8 weeks.) In my opinion they're unmistakeable....rapid weight gain, severe bloating, severe pain....just be watchful. In the meantime, enjoy all those eggs!!

Hey Ladies,

Congrats to Cymplicity & Tabatha on your BFP :D
I know you are super excited!!!

sbr- I'm so sorry about your BFN :(
BUT, I hope I can have your positive attitude if this cycyles doesn't work out for me!!! You truly are an inspiration to all of us! Best of luck on the next cycle!

My 1st Lupron shot was last friday...so far, so good. I hope the rest of the shots are this easy :?

Wow, there are so many BETA's this week, I'm excited for all of you and hoping for all BFP!!

sbr, you have a great attitude plus you have frozen embies!!!!

As for me, bad cramping all day. They have gotten less once I got the patches on there. It makes me think I would have gotten AF if I didnt get the patches at lunch. If this is a BFN for me, its off to our original plan of adoption since we simply dont have another 12,000 to throw at fertility treatments.

 Thanks to everyone for your well wishes for my recent FET, I'm so scared I may have left someone out (Cynthia, not sure if I thanked you) that I am sending a big THANK YOU to all 8)
 SBR- So sorry to hear your news. Your in the same boat as me. I got BFN with my first cycle, and doc let me go right into an FET! I didn't do lupron since I went right into it, but used estrace to attempt to dissuade ovulation from occurring. In my case it worked, so something you can ask RE about if he says you have to wait to get on lupron.
Thanks for giving me your info on meds. I really appreciate you taking the time to do it.
 latinosunshine: I'm glad your cramps went away after putting on new patches. Just know that if you do get pregnant, your little one(s) should be able to hang in there despite a few cramps
 Hazel- Thanks for reminding me that I'm PUPO- Just love that term, and glad I'm finally there. Your always so sweet to think of me. I really do feel in my heart that we made the right decision to transfer just 1 morula/blast (like I said it was on the verge of being a blast so this is my new term for it). I just feel like I can really concentrate on having 1 implant instead of two for my imagery. Good luck to you and your follies, and here's hoping for a "bumper harvest"
 Michelle- you go girl/hen chick! I'm really happy for you. You had to wait so long for this, so I'm glad your making a lot of eggs. I'll keep everything crossed that hubby can get his boys to come through for you guys. BTW- I love the little thing you and another girl have on the main boards about POAS tests..... You are so funny (and a little obsessed). I feel like I can say that to you since I consider you a friend, and I do tell it like it is. Just ask Cynthia :)
 AFM- I called RE's office today and insisted they let me do a progesterone and estrogen b/w test to make sure my levels are OK. I told the nurse that it's no biggie for them, and if it is going to make me feel better, than I don't see why not. She agreed that she didn't think it was a problem and RE ok'd it. I went around 4:30 to labcorp and got it drawn, so tomorrow I will know. It will make me feel better, which is all that matters right now- HAHA. My poor husband  (I'm milking this for all it's worth)
Well ladies best wishes to everyone and have a great evening.

Cynthia, I'm glad to know that you basically POAS the same time as me and all was good with your BFP. That makes me feel better that mine is real! I went out today and bought a bunch more HPT's. I did the digital kind today, but now I got some with the 2 lines so I can see if the line changes over the next few days. When is your ultrasound? I'm so excited for you and wonder if you might have more than one in there! :D

Michele, Wow so many follies...that is awesome! Sounds like you are off to a great start! Do you know when your ER will be yet?

Hazel, 7-8 eggs sounds good! They told me that I had about 10 and then I ended up with 16 at my ER so you never know if there are more hiding in there. :)

Trying, I go for my 2nd beta tomorrow and hopefully I'll find out when my u/s will be. I'm hoping next week but if they wait until week 7, in 2 weeks...yes, another dreaded 2ww  :D

I can't remember who did the PIO and stuck themselves and as a reflex pulled the needle back out? Believe it or not after sticking myself at least 7 times already, tonight I stuck myself and it hurt like hell and I immediately pulled the needle out  I felt really smart :P Even my second stick hurt. I think I'm starting to wear out my bum and will start having to use some of the warming techniques. I have no clue what to get though. What are you using again Melanie & Hazel? Some type of heating pad? If I have to keep this up for another 5 weeks, something's gotta give!

Well my first POAS is neg. I'm not really suprised.....I'm only 5dp5dt so we'll see. I've never done HPTs before 7dp so Im not upset yet....plus if it had been positive, I think I would have been more worried about twins! Anyway.....we'll see what happens tomorrow.

Hello Ladies:

Michelle - WOW, good for you, so many eggs, hope your feeling less bloated, try to rest.

Neffi - I think is too early to start POAS, i don't have the courage to do it, and I am 13 dpt.

Cimplicity - How are you feeling? I think this next 2 weeks are going to be easier.

Trying - When is your BETA?

Latino - I understand how you feel, every day I think AF will show up, when it didn't then I think it is for the progesterone and the estradiol. When minute I think I'm Prego, the next I think is all in my imagination. Last night I almost POAS, but got scared. I don't want to see a negative. However, tomorrow is my BETA and then I know for sure.

One of the girls said is not negativity, is reality. I am not in NMA (negative mental attitude), but everything could happen. I don't think I could wait until tomorrow, Michelle send me one of your HPT.

Hi everyone. Just spoke to the clinic and I'm officially now on the theatre list for ER on Friday. I trigger tonight at 9.30pm and go to theatre about 9-9.30am on Friday morning. Help! As before, I think I'm excited and scared in equal measure.

sportsmom - sorry to hear about the headaches. Everyone reacts differently to the drugs - I personally got daily headaches on the down regulation drugs but nothing on the stims. My headaches varied each day in severity so I hope it will be the same for you, otherwise your stims phase isn't going to be much fun. I can't remember, are you doing acupuncture? If so, they can do something to help ease the side effects.

Neffi - as you said, early days. Hang in there!

Cynthia - the theory is that if you heat the area, it opens up the blood vessels and makes it easier to inject and to disperse the fluids going in. For me, I heat the injection site up as much as I can stand to, as then I don't really feel the needle go in at all. A hot water bottle would work fine, but I have one of those bean filled hot cushions (for wont of a better description) which you microwave to heat up. Try it and let us know whether you think it helps!

Melanie - did you get the results of your progesterone and estrogen b/w today?

Latino - sorry to hear about the cramping you had yesterday. Is it any better today?

caperez - pleased to hear it is going smoothly so far. When is your first scan?

Michele - I'm anxious to hear how you got on at your scan today. Are they thinking ER for Monday now, given how well you are stimulating?

You know what? I'm remembering every step of the process. First I thought I wouldn't produce enough eggs, then after ER ( They got 7) I thought they wouldn't fertilize. Then I think they didn't make it to day 3. You must think Im a scarycat. Sorry about that, everything has been very smooth and God has been taken control all the way. So there is no reason to feel so down. I know I am going to get very good news tomorrow, and so everyone else in this threat when the times come.

 Cynthia- I sometimes heat my bum first with a heating pad or with one of those beanies you stick in microwave. Not sure where you can buy them, but they have beans or corn in them, and when you microwave them, they stay hot for a while and also give off some moisture, so you get moist heat, which is very highly recommended from what I've read. After injection I do either one again. I have been using 2cc of 50mg/ml PIO. That sucks, I did 1 cc for two days last week, and it was a million times easier. I haven't had much pain giving it, it's the next couple days that the 2 cc dose really kicks in to be sore. I have found out that Freedom and Schrafts (both infertility drug specialty pharmacies here in US) make a 100mg/ml concentrated dose. This would mean I could give this in 1cc and get same dose as now. I am definitely purchasing that if I get prego and need to continue. Something for you to consider looking into as well, since less med is less painful. What gauge needle do you use to inject with, and how much do you inject? (you told me before but I have forgotten already, I think you do 1 cc though)
 Hazel- I'm waiting for my call from RE regarding B/W results  I'll let you guys know when I hear.
 Sari: You are brave to wait until tomorrow- good job!
I said I wouldn't POAS this time, but who knows. I might do it the morning of beta, since with a 5dt transfer, I should definitely get real results. My beta is due on my DH's birthday, so it may be better for me to prepare myself before hearing it from RE's office if it is bad news. I hope it isn't since it may sour the day a little and I'll have to pretend I'm not bummed so that he has a nice day. But like I said it may be easier to get myself emotionally ready in my own privacy. Not sure yet what I'll do. My beta isn't until next Tuesday, so I have plenty of time to decide.

Take care, Melanie

Hi Ladies,

So I promised I'll update on my POAS saga lol and I POAS in the morning using FRER and the second line showed up pretty quickly but its still very faint. I've researched and many articles complain how FRER gives very faint lines at first or it gives evap lines. So I'm sitting here at work all paranoid and I went out and bought a diff. brand test "Answer" I POAS here at work, and BFP!!!!! the line is much darker (like a true +) then from FRER and it came up right away so I think I can assume its a + and dont panic anymore lol   ... but then again I'll probably POAS tomorrow morning urghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh I think I can call myself POAS addict by now :P :P
