Hi Girls!

It's been so quiet on this thread.

Donni, I love that picture of your daughters on the swing....it's so sweet! Keep that one forever for both of them!

How is everyone?

Faith -- you were right, girl! I had my ultrasound this week and we are having a boy and a girl!!
They both look healthy so far, the girl is punching the heck out of me, the boy is pretty quiet. They both do a dance at night when I go to bed.

Would you believe I had that neighborhood mom tell me AGAIN that I am still so much bigger than her friend who is having twins. I got defensive this time. I would never tell someone something like that!

Barbarella, I hope everything is going well for you!

Laura, miss you chick!

Malya, congratulations on your good news, I am assuming??

Hope to hear from you guys soon!

Yah! Beth that's awsome!!! I do believe I am a good guesser..:) A boy and a girl that's perfect!! Glad to hear that they are both good, now you can really plan things out now that you know the sexes! Agggghh! Tell that neighbor to go shove it up her...well never mind. Doesn't she know that every woman carries her babies different ugh..the stupidity of some people, lol. If she only knew how much it took to get those babies here...don't let her get you down.

donni GREAT pictures!! Your girls are beautiful!! I bet those boys are after your older daughter!! Keep em' away!! LOL! My nephew is almost 14 and he has a little girlfriend. Makes me feel old when I realize I was there when he was being born! Anyways great pictures! I'm sure they will grow up the best of friends!!

Everybody else I'm thinking of you!!

Hi all! I'm so behind on getting on here...

Beth- A girl and a boy- congrats!! That will be so fun! How are you feeling? Your neighbor should be shot- what the h*** is she thinking saying something like that...who cares what size you are - you are having two precious blessings and that is all that matters! When are you due again? Hope you are feeling good.

Donni- Just love all the pics you have shared...I agree with Faith, the pic of Addy resting her head on her sister by the swing is just awesome...they are both beautiful- your older daughter kinda reminds me of Hannah Montana- she's beautiful! Good luck keeping the boys away!!! Hope all is well.

Faith- How are you? Do you know when you'll do a FET again? Hope all is well.

Barbarella- How are you? You must have had your little boy by now...hope all is going well and you are enjoying mommyhood!!!!

Hi to everyone else too that I'm forgetting!!

ds and I are both sick now- no fun! But we are all settled in our new house now and happy to be having some nice weather to enjoy outside! Our old house is up for sale so we'll see... Ds will turn 3 in a couple weeks- how he got that old I have no idea!!! Still thinking we are done for good but of course my mind wanders at times!!! Take care all, Laura

Hi girls!

Beth ~ Oh my goodness, a boy and a girl. How wonderful. Can you share your U/S pics, you know or belly pics?! Ha! Where do you live again, I am going to go stuff some twinkies down your neighbors throat. Peoples comments kill me....! Ugghhh, I bet you are beautiful! No matter how big I got I loved it because my baby was in there and you have two!

Faith ~ Hey lady! How are you? Any decisions on that FET yet?

Barbarella ~ How are you and your little boy! Don't leave us all hanging. Share your handsome young man with us! I hope you are doing well - can't wait to hear about labor.

Laura ~ Sorry to hear about you and DS being sick. How is the new house? DS is 3 already? I know about time flying by. Addy turned 6 months yesterday. Crazy! Love to see pics of DS.

OK girls if you were trying to find me on face book I am Donnell Smith and there is a pic of me holding Addy. Also, you can search by Donnell Padilla Smith - thats my maiden name. I should be the only one.

Miss you all! Hi to anyone I missed!

Donni- Now I'm confused- do you have twin older daughters??!! I found you on facebook :)

Ok, gals, I need help if you all are out there!!! I am going to add some hours at work which will make me benefit eligible- so the thing is that I can get the HMO and in IL that would mean I'd have 100 percent IF coverage...right now with dh insurance that we all have there is no coverage which was ok for FET but not ok for a fresh cycle...so now I don't know what to do...part of me says no we're done and the other part of me is sort of addicted or something to the idea of having another or of possibly having success again...it's just so tempting...if I decide not to pick up the insurance- then I can't get it again till next January and my biological clock is certainly ticking but again, i was sure we were done so it doesn't matter, right?? help!!!!!! My dh of course says do it but I'm just not sure...what should I do gals??

Hope you are all well :) Laura

GOOD GOD, laura!
Of course we would say DO IT! 100% coverage is awesome! i know HMO's can be a pain in the butt sometimes, but if you are happy with your RE, then go for it! It can't hurt to try.
Will you have to switch RE's or stay with the one you have?
It is a very emotional decision, just make sure you are ready.
More hours at work? are they killer hours?

no pics this time, Donni. sorry. my scanner is broken, so I can't even post ultrasound pics. I am in Illinois, near Chicago.
your kids are gorgeous, by the way!!

As for my neighbor lady witch, I just want to reiterate her rudeness. I am a tall girl, 5'9" and 125 before pregnancy. I haven't put on that much weight to make me a butterball. I am ALL belly! it sticks out in front of me. but she doesn't hesitate to tell me how HUGE I am. i want to say, "At least my @ss is still smaller than yours, witch!"
ok, enough of her.
I am happy to be large and in charge. I have two growing healthy babies in there.

I am due mid-August, but OB said most likely the end of JULY.

I went to the OB last week, at 22 weeks, I was measuring 29 weeks. I asked the OB about my weight and she said, it's perfect. and measuring larger is normal.

and Faith, you are right, it did take a lot to get those babies in there, so I am proud to be how i am!

I am worried about being put on bed rest. i am worried about not spending enough time with DD when the time comes. My OB said to just make sure I take time to rest everyday, which I do. Thank goodness DD still takes a nap everyday!

no word from Barbarella yet? I hope everything is ok!

later girls,

beth

Beth- Thanks for the support!! You are so funny about your neighbor- I love your thoughts and she is such a ******** (think of every bad word you can)! That's awesome you are already at 22 weeks and doing great! That is definitely good that dd still naps! I too am wondering why we haven't heard the good news from Barbarella- maybe she's just been really really busy with her little boy... I do think we're going to go forward with everything- which will take a bit with the HMO but how can I pass the opportunity up. I do have to switch clinics and RE because they just recently dropped the HMO and they might pick it back up eventually but I'll find another good place I hope... Oh, and I'm just picking up one more 8 hour night but it's on the other weekend so I can sleep after it cuz dh will be home with ds- so it's worth it for sure to have another try with IVF too...

Thanks guys for bringing the thread back, and for your concern. My last Dr.'s Apt said that my beta test was still at 3. So I'm taking another blood test tomorrow. I'm still spotting, thats really anoying, but its getting better. They have me on BC pill and I've just started the chatix to quit smoking. We have 4 blasts frozen and we don't expect to do another transfer till july. Hope everyone is doing well.

Thanks all for your support

Woah my chicks I haven't been on here in forever!!

LOL Beth I haven't dropped off the face of the earth! How those babies doing? I knew you would have one of each!! Any names yet or are they top secret? My friend is having twins they just found out it's two boys. She's had a whole lotta scares but seems to be going ok now. How's your nice little neighbor doing? I bet you wish you could put some tacks in her chair...but then again if she's got a big a@# she probably wouldn't feel them. Just go ahead and belly slap her.

Laura go for it! Wow if it's free it's almost meant to be!! Wish I had it free! California isn't that cool though...good luck and keep us posted!

Donni what's up? I was wondering the same thing???Do you have twin girls??? Your have beautiful kids!

malya so sorry to hear about your m/c. Same thing happened to me the one and only time I got pregnant I m/c at exactly 6 weeks. That was 4 years ago now and believe it or not I was on clomid..
It doesn't matter how long you were pregnant for it's still difficult. And honestly a couple weeks ago I finally threw away the preg. test that I've kept all this time. Good luck and keep in touch!

How's our "babymama" Barbarella been?

Hey are any of you on myspace?? I've kept in touch with one friend from my first ivf on myspace and we send messages quite often and I get to see pictures of her lil' boy. It's fun so let me know :)

Happy Friday everyone :)

Hi girls!

Sorry I have been MIA! Just been busy and we took a family trip to Mexico. Yes, during the whole swine flu thing. But we are all OK!

No girls...I don't have twin girls. My son is 19, my middle daughter is 16, almost 17 and the youngest (well technically not any more) is 14, almost 15. So they are just over two years apart. They do look a lot alike at times, but other times they couldn't be more different.

Malya ~ I am so sorry for your loss. It is so difficult to deal with no matter how far along you are. Please keep in touch and good luck!

Faith ~ Waassss upppp lady! I'm not on myspace - just facebook. I don't get on very often because I can't really figure it out. I just post pictures a lot.

Laura ~ I know I am late, but HECK YA!!! Of course I say go for it. My honey started working for a bank that had awesome coverage which is the only reason we were able to go for IVF. I couldn't be happier with the outcome.

Beth ~ Whoo hoo on passing the glucose test. I can't believe how far along you are either. I am so incredibly happy for you.

OK ladies - my baby is screaming her head off??? I need to go see why daddy is pinching her. Geez! Can't a woman get a few minutes online. Hee hee.

Love to you all!

~D

Hi all!!

So we have an appt with new RE next Thursday...he is actually the RE I wanted to go to the first time so I'm excited to meet him. So I guess this is happening- I haven't really processed it yet. I need to get in gear and eat a little better and cut out caffeine and stuff like that...soon! Working nights makes that a lot harder!

Donni- Your children are just beautiful- all of them!! I really did think your daughters were twins! How's sweet little Addy?

Faith- I'm only on Facebook too...how are you?!

Beth- Hope you are feeling good! Did you have another ultrasound? Hope all went well.

Malya- Hope you are doing ok. That's great that you are going to quit smoking! And that's also wonderful that you have frozen embies for the future- will you do a FET in July then? Take care.

Barbarella- Where are you??!!!!!!! Hope all is well and check in with us if you're out there :)

Take care all, Laura
