bdantonio - On the way to the hospital, my plan was to ask the nurse to give me my shot. The nurse attending to my hubby refused because it was a liability for the hospital. She wanted my hubby to give it to me while he was on morphine, toradal, and something else! Then I started to get the shot ready and I grabbed the wrong vial. It was PIO but not enough to give me a full dose. So, I was stuck.

aims, have you done any PIO shots yourself? I have to do my own about every other night. DH is a firefighter and works 24 hr shifts. I've gotten use to it and it's not as bad as I thought it would be. About 2 or 3 other ladies on the March/April board also started doing their own. It was weird because the first thing they told me in injection class was that you HAD to have someone do the PIO shot for you and as soon as I pointed out that my husband isn't home every night, it changed to "oh, you can do it yourself". I thought I was going to get out of it and get suppositories...didn't work

Cynthia - No I have not done any PIO shots myself. I thought I was going to have to last week but didn't. I was always told I HAD to have someone do them for me too even though several on here have. I started this cycle with suppositories no PIO but around beta time I was spotting. My RE thought it was from the suppositories so switched me to shots. The spotting went away but seems to come back every Tuesday for some reason.

2nd beta was 1496 today. Have a THIRD beta on Friday! Suppose to find out when my u/s will be then.

I totally forgot to mention...this morning a line on my belly showed up out of no where!!! I've seen this line on pregnant bellies but I was SHOCKED I'd see one this early. It's faint, but there. It runs from just below my bbs to down past my belly button

Hello Ladies,

I just came back from my first u/s. Its a singleton!! I was able to see just the sac. My RE said we won't see much in the u/s at this time. My second u/s is on 04/27. RE said we should be able to hear the heart beat then.

First I was a little disappointed because I wanted twins, but then I realized that after trying so hard for a long time, a singleton itself is a great blessing for us and I can't ask for more.

Now I don't know how to kill the time until 4/27!! The waiting is the most challenging part!!

Congrats Tara! A singleton is great. Sometimes I kinda want twins too but I would be happy with one.

Beta #3 was 3149. First u/s is schedule for (get this) May 12th!!!!!! What the heck am I suppose to do until then?!?! lol Well at least by then I'll be going on 9 weeks and for sure should see a heartbeat(s). Did anyone else have to wait this long?

Guess I'll go hybernate now since I have nothing going on for the next MONTH! uggh! LOL

Ladies,

Do you all feel very sleepy? I am feeling extremely sleepy for the past 3 days. I come back from work and fall asleep on the sofa. Is this a pregnancy symptom?

Cymplicity - congrats on your good beta numbers. Wow! That is a long wait indeed, but you will get to know everything in one visit. So good luck

Tara - Yes, sleepiness is a symptom. It was actually the first one I had and it started before my 1st beta. I've had a really hard time staying awake at work, school, and at home. lol I just started having nausea really bad this week. My stomach feels a little crampy but not AF crampy.

Froggy - How was your u/s? You had it on the 15th right?

AFM - Nausea has hit me full force, sore boobs, and still tired. A couple more days to u/s. Excited and nervous!

Oh my word, girls- whatever little tickler this site has to email me when there are replies posted hasn't been working- so I was just playing catch up!

My symptoms seem to come and go, but overall my bbs are very sore and I'm crampy off and on- usually only when I should go pee- which is all the freaking time!

I had a little more spotting on Friday, but none since then- hoping it's just the normal stuff. Wednesday is my u/s and I just cannot stop worrying that something will be wrong

One thing is certain- there is SOMETHING in there to be causing me all of these symptoms!

For the girls in my area- YES, we should definitely have a tentative plan to get together for a play date, how fun!

Ian - I'm glad to hear that your symptoms come and go. I have that too. I've been a little crampy today with a little brown spotting but not much. It is that time of week for me to start spotting! I agree with you that something has to be on inside to have all these symptoms. I'll just feel better tomorrow when I know everything is normal and not ectopic.

Hi Ladies, Hope I can join you all on this site. I just got my BFP today. My beta was 796. I'm 12dp5dt. I should be due right around Christmas day. My first u/s will be on 4/30.
