Hello:

I think is time to join your group. I was in the march/april threat, and got my BFP last Thursday. It was my first IVF. First Beta 297 (14 days post transfer) and Second 648 (48 hours later), u/s is next Tuesday. Congratulations to all of you on your BFP. I know some of the ladies from the other threat.

Trying - your BETA is very high, I'm thinking twins. Congratulations.

Ian - You shouldn't worry about spotting. Some women spot all their pregnancies. So, don't stress about it and relax.

Tara - Like you, I'm very sleepy all the time. If I go to sleep then woke up hungry, once I eat, sleepy again. I try not to sleep too much but my eyes close, even working. Some told me to enjoy this and sleep all you can, once the baby is here you will not sleep at all. LOL.

Aims - your morning sickness began. I don't envy you.

Cimplicity - Beautiful number for a BETA. Have you try the HCG tool to see if is twins? Although I read BETA is not a very good predictor for multiples pregnancy, its worth the shot. I try it and says singleton, but I'm feeling twins, its just a feeling, may be is my own mind, but my belly is big for five weeks.

Hi & welcome Sari! I love to read your accent in your posts! It is so cute!
I know I should relax, and I'm trying- it's just that my last pregnancy I didn't spot at ALL! It will all be over in a little less than 29 hours, but who's counting the minutes??

ian - As you know, my first language is Spanish, sometimes I mix up the languages or translate directly from spanish. Write in this board is a very good practice for me.

What do you think about this? I order a refill of my meds yesterday, they are suppose to arrive today. When I went to get my supp and PIO's to use the last ones, I haven't got anything. All gone. So today, I am with no meds until the afternoon. There is nothing I can do. I'm just worried.

Hi Sari, My DH thinks it will be twins since we really only want one. Either way I will be happy. I checked my number and it seems like it's in the normal range for one, but they give you such a huge range so it does make the number seem high. Who knows...LOL. I'm just anxious for the u/s!

Ianmichael, I'm so excited your u/s is tomorrow! I can't wait to see your results. How many weeks pregnant are you?

I'm having alot of symptoms so far....some nausea, sore bb's, bloated tummy every night, once in a while I still get that feeling like AF is coming. Also I have a really strong craving for peppercini's...I bought a whole jar of those the other day. I have never even bought those before. LOL
I go back to work today after taking a month off. I know it's early but my clothes are already fitting really tight around the waist. Maybe it's just the bloating? It will be hard to find comfortable clothes to wear to work everyday!

I had my u/s this morning and it's Twins!!! I heard both heartbeats and each was beating at 135. I think I'm in shock but I'm excited! My due for a singleton would be 12/5 but since it's twins, it will more likely be mid November or late November.

CONGRATULATIONS AIMS!!!! I am so happy for you and your twins You must be SO excited!!

Eileen, my biggest symptom so far is constipation! I just bought some colace yesterday so hopefully that helps. I went out and bought a bunch of shirts this weekend. Most are just regular shirts with room to grow and 2 are actually maternity shirts! I can actually wear them now and they just look like cute little baby doll type shirts. I also bought a few maternity short & capris that I can actually wear now and grow into them. I really bought it all because I can't wear any of my summer clothes from last year!!! Yikes! Everything is too snug already.

Sari, I'm sure taking your meds a little late won't hurt much. I had to reorder my PIO this morning. I hope I have enough for tonights injection!


AFM, I'm so bored, LOL! I don't have anything going on for 3 more weeks. We are going to a lake house this weekend for 4 days with my family so that should kill a little time. Other than that I'll just live through you girls and your ultrasounds DH and I already refer to them as the babIES! My beta numbers seem to be pretty high compared to some. We'd be thrilled with twins! Just as thrilled with a singleton as well. I try to make myself feel better about the long wait by telling myself that by then I'll be far enough along to definitely hear a heartbeat(s) and development will be further along. Oh well, back to waiting I go

Sari, regarding your belly being big at 5 weeks, mine too! I think I natural just suck mine in anyway, lol. But if I relax it, my goodness! I look like I'm show already. I'm guessing the difference later will be I won't be able to hold it in at all

Sari: no worries about meds- our bodies aren't as regular at producing hormones so I don't think it should matter too much!

Eileen: I am 7 weeks 6 days today- tomorrow is 8 weeks to the day since the FIRST day of my last period..... If all is well tomorrow, it will be nice to have an actual due date estimated by the doc himself!

AIMS: WOAH! What were your betas????

ALSO for everyone who's had an u/s----- do they do it vaginally or on your belly?

ian - My betas were 250 and 554. They will do your ultrasound vaginally.

AIMS: Oh my gosh! You know, that is just truly amazing! You must have been in shock??? I thought multiples always had high beta numbers- I was wrong! Erin told me that beta numbers aren't any kind of reflection of whether or not there are multiples..... only an ultrasound can do that!

I can't wait to hear a heartbeat..................

Ian - Good luck on your u/s tomorrow! I always thought multiples had higher beta numbers too but I was surprised! Erin told me the same thing that beta numbers couldn't predict how many. I was told today that I have another u/s at midwest and then I would probably be released to my regular ob doctor. So, my next u/s is scheduled for 5/5.
