Aims, OMG Twins, how exciting!! Congrats :D That is so awesome that you saw their heartbeats too. I will be 6 weeks at my ultrasound so not sure they see a heartbeat yet. I'm so happy for you! How many did you transfer? 3 day or 5 day?

Cynthia, Hope you have a nice weekend with the family. We are going away too..to Palm Springs. I found out from the nurse today that I can't sunbathe or swim so not sure what I'm going to do. Guess I will bring a few good books. That's good you found some new comfy clothes. I need to do that soon!

AFM: I have been researching on the internet trying to find out what the odds are of the embryos splitting, but haven't found out too much. We did assisted hatching so it's supposed to increase the odds of that, but I hope not by too much. We transferred blasts so I thought we didn't have to worry about splitting with those, but I am finding mixed info on that. I get worried about them splitting and ending up with 4...haha!

Hello:

AIMS - CONGRATULATION ON THE TWINS. Double blessing.

Cinthia and Trying - enjoy your vacation. I really envy you.

Last night I was going to ask all of you when did you feel something, morning sickness or anything. I'm in my 5 week and only feel sleppyness. But today I woke up, feeling weird. I couldn't eat breakfast and just a little for lunch. Everything is yuck! Even though I have a lot of work I can't have anything done, just feel under the weather.

Well, take care of yourself and the babies.

Sary

Sari I'm 6 wks today and lately things have been quiet with the symptoms. I'm also really tired, boobs still sore but not much else. I think I lost about 2 lbs because I can't seem to finish anything. Everything tastes fine at first and then I take another bite and all of a sudden it tastes horrible! Or I just get full really quickly.

I decided to see about getting an appointment with my regular ob/gyn. My RE told me to contact my ob/gyn since my next appt on 5/12 will be when they release me back to my regular doc. I'm hoping that my regular doc will tell me to come in a little earlier and I not have to wait until I'm almost 9 weeks for my first ultrasound! I should hear back from them today or tomorrow. We'll see...

Cimplicity - I think we are sharing the same symptoms. That's what I feel, except I gain 4lbs. Your RE is transferring you already to a regular ob/gyn? Mine is going to be with me until week 10, my u/s is next tuesday. It's a torture to wait until May. Are you taking Pre-natal vitamins? Go ahead and make that call so they can squeeze you soon.

Ok girlies: the official due date is 12/3/09!!!! Although it would not surpise me to have a late November bebe :) I have been released to my ob/gyn and my first appointment with him isn't until 5/14!!!!! UGH the wait!!!! He won't see me until I'm at least 10 weeks. :(

Praise our Father above, he is good all the time, even through the muck we've had to go through to get here and in other areas of our lives!

Ianmichael, Sounds like your u/s went very well...congrats! It must be such a relief to see that heartbeat :D

Sari and Cynthia, I completely have the same issue with eating. LOL. Nothing really sounds good, then when I do eat I can't eat very much. Then about an hour later my stomach is so bloated and I just get more uncomfortable from there as the day goes on. Today at work I had to undo the button on my pants and I was feeling horrible. I hope this part gets better soon. I don't know how I'm going to make it thru work everyday! Well at least it's all worth it!

Is anyone else having a hard time sleeping at night? I think since my ET I just toss and turn and can't get comfortable. I already need a pillow for my stomach. Also I think it's because my bb's hurt alot too.

Congrats Ian! How fast was the heartbeat? I loved hearing the heartbeats! A little over 2 weeks for your u/s seems like a lifetime. I know my next u/s does!

Hi ladies,

Very happy to read about all the ultra sounds and heartbeats!! I am in my 7th week. My next u/s is on 4/27. Can't wait to hear the heartbeat.

So, have you all announced your pregnancies to your friends and relatives? I haven't. I wanted wait until I hear the heartbeat! What is the best time to make the annoucement? I know some people wait until first trimester is over to make sure everything is ok.

Tara.

Trying, there have been a few nights where I woke up early and couldn't get back to sleep. Last night I made the mistake of going to sleep without my sports bra on. I just had on a t-shirt with no bra. I woke up around 2:00 a.m. (to go pee of course) and when I stood up I felt like my bbs were on fire!!! lol I had to hold them while I was walking to the bathroom. DH thought it was funny of course. I made sure to put my sports bra back on before going back to bed. :D

ianmichael, I'm in the wait with you. My first u/s isn't until 5/12.

Sari, RE hasn't transferred me yet. They just told me to go ahead and contact my ob/gyn so that they know that I'm coming. I'm just hoping that my ob/gyn will want to see me a little sooner! :)

Hi Ladies, could I join your thread? We just got our BPF yesterday with a beta of 85. We did a FET with only one 6-day blast. RE's office said this was a great number for 9dp6dt. They said that the beta's tend to rise a little slower with FET's for some reason. I go back tomorrow for my second beta. Just hoping the number doubles at least. I have enjoyed reading about each of your journeys, and I believe that my due date will be 12/29/09. Will keep in touch. Angela

It's been such a long journey. My wife and I have been at this for so long. The news of our BFP was so cool! W will be 39 soon I just turned 36. We both felt time was running out. If I'm not mistaken this thread is European? I think it's great you guys are in the States.....I have to give the Doc kudos and the Maine Center For Infertility Credit...We did the Clomid thing(really messed with wifes psyche) and 3 IUI's with stugats. I have a really good grasp of the IVF thing, however what should I expect from now on? We have one more meeting with the infertility Doc and if all is well we will be released to the OB-GYN..........
