jogging stroller recommendation

Post by riogirl71 »

Anyone have a good jogging stroller that they recommend? I don't want to necessarily use it for jogging but I like the big wheels on our no sidewalk streets here.

The BOB jogging stroller. Everyone talks about this and LOVES it! The front wheel on it moves as well so you do not have to pick up the stroller to turn.

I saw good things about those, pricey! I also saw one on costco which seems nice and easy to return if I don't like it. Do you have a Bob double stroller?

rio- I have the baby trend one from babies r us, was not that expensive. I really like it, but don;t think it would hold up for actual jogging. Sometimes the front wheel is a little funky and needs to be adjusted (you will read a lot of bad reviews on the website about this, but I have not had as many problems as what people describe, I reccomend checking it out at the store), which is why I say I would not run with it, but other than that, I love it. I also wanted it for easy movement with the big wheels, traditional strollers just seemed so hard to move. This one is easy to fold out, and fold up, easy to manuever, lots of storage and compartments, and half the price of most joggers.

I have had multiple strollers and NOTHING compares to the BOB! It is the best no matter how many babies you are putting in that puppy. I went thru other strollers not wanting to pay the money and in the end. . . I'm in LOVE with BOB!

Revolution BOB by REI is #1. My husband is a jogger and wouldn't have it any other way. They are $300 stroller but are well worth it. These strollers are really made for jogging so if you aren't using it for that, you night be able to find something cheaper. We looked into Schwinn before be bought the BOB and they have some nice ones with the big wheels also for between $150 and $200.

You won't find nothing great for too much less. You can always buy used of EBAY is you are a ebay shopper but the BOB's are hardly ever on their being sold as used. They are so great that people hold on to them.

Michele,

We got the same stroller!!! I'm not a jogger, DH used to be one, he doesn't really jog that much anymore because of his knee, but we both like to take long walks, we figured a jogging stroller would be convenient to have then.

RIO-- we got ours at Target and it was a bit cheaper than what Baby's R Us is selling it for. I believe it cost us something like $109.

We went with Costco Zooper Boogie and it is really great! a bit big but so easy to handle and he can face forward or face me! Nice big space for bags, great overall plus if you are not happy it can be returned!
