Jennifer - thanks for checking in on me! Yes, I'm scheduled for my c-section on the 30th. I have to be at the hospital at 5:30 AM! I'm a little nervous about the amnio the day before to check her lungs, though I'm sure it will go fine. We've already seen our fair share of needles, eh? It's funny, but I'm also nervous about being hungry after the surgery because it sounds like they don't let you eat anything for some time. Did you have any issues with that?

I can't believe how quickly Matthew is growing, that's wonderful! LOL about feeling like a cow - you're a great momma cow. ;) I'm sure I'll feel that way too - wonder how long it takes that feeling to pass. How's your incision healing?

Chris - thank you so much for checking in. I've been watching your threads over in IVF too and was terribly bummed to hear about your most recent BFN. You said you are changing clinics, yes? I really hope that helps!!!

Kerpuppies-I will be thinking of you on the 30th-and God knows with my nightowl Matthew-I will be awake when you go in. I will be honest, food was the last thing you will think of after surgery. I remember them telling me only clear liquids that night and I didn't even want that-Just my morphine pump!! Keep in mind because I am breastfeeding, I thought I wasn't gonna want to take the pain meds, but I learned the hard way-Don't be a hero-take the pain meds-they offer them for a reason-otherwise if you let the pain get too bad-the meds barely work. I'm not trying to scare you, just don't want you to make the same STUPID mistake I did. Incision completely closed by my 2 wk follow up with the doc-Maybe even before that but I couldn't tell cause my belly was still so big!! I'm getting there now though-slow but sure-exercising every day when baby is sleeping.

Hey girls,

I know some of you know, since you have been nice enough to keep tabs on me :D , but I just wanted to let you all know I am officially pupo again! I had my transfer this morning and they put back two beautiful embies and I had 4 left to freeze. My beta will be on cinco de mayo (May 5) so hopefully you can all have a celebratory magarita for me!

Hope everyone here is enjoying their little ones...I notice your thread has slowed down, so you all must be very busy!

Hi ladies, your last straggler has joined you early!

We were at an infant care class on Saturday (at a hospital but not the one we planned on delivering at) when I started bleeding. I was admitted and observed to be contracting. The contractions subsided and I was watched overnight, but they started up again on Sunday and wouldn't stop, so we went ahead and delivered.

Morgan Stella was born on Sunday, April 26th at 8:58 PM. She was 6 pounds, 13 ounces - pretty big for being so early! Unfortunately her lungs weren't quite ready to go and she's in the NICU under an oxygen hood. However, the doctors just think she needs a little bit of time and then she'll be ready to come home with us. I'm in the hospital until Thursday and will let you know when she can come home.

KERPUPPLES--OMG, I just logged on to check on everyone and report a little about me, and I find your news. CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!! Welcome Morgan Stella :) I guess you were in the right place to start having contractions, smart little girl. We are all mommies now...amazing! I'm praying for Morgan's lungs to get strong quick so she can come home with you. Blessings, blessings.

MICHELLE--PUPO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! thinking about you and praying for a beautiful outcome.

Being a new mommie is a lot of work! on top of everything DH was away for the entire first week we were back home, he had to attend a conference and I was left alone with Asha. I was fortunate to have friends drop by to hold her so I could take showers, they also cooked for me and dropped food (thank GOD!), but it was tough being a new mommie home alone with a newborn, however, I MADE IT. She's lovely and I have a lot to share with you all about the delivery and my experience with my ballerina. I'm SO in love with her, it's not even funny how much I care for that little girl. Right now I don't have time, but I wanted to say that I'm thinking about you all my lovely friends, and that I certainly want to keep in touch. I will post pics of Asha tomorrow or Thursday, promise! she's kind of a "mini-me." My mom says that I took her back 30 years when she saw Asha's picture for the first time. Luv you and miss you all.

Kerpupples- I was signing on to wish you luck at your c-sec...and what a surprise! Congrats on your delievery and I hope little MOrgan will be ready to come home soon. That is funny you were there for a class, that happened at my class too (not to me). We were touring the maternity ward and one of the ladies who was pretty far along started having contractions....she was certainly in the right place!

esperanza- Congrats on making it by yourself. It must be killing dh to be away from that beautiful little girl. And I don't know how you are doing it, I was lucky enough to have dh home with me for over 2 months! It is so heartwarming to read your post, about loving her so much...isn't it an amazing feeling? I can't wait to do it all over again. I was so emotional reading your post, it brought me right back to the first weeks of Ella's life. I am glad you are having so much fun being a mommy.

Thank you all for thinking of me- My beta is just 6 days away, of course I am already doing hpt's, since I am an addict. I had a faint line a couple days ago, but I know that was still trigger shot. I am finally getting negatives, so I know trigger is gone now. I have enough to test atleast once a day until beta, so I will keep you all updated, I am hopeful for this weekend.

Kerpuppies-I too was signing on to wish you good luck! What a suprise-Welcome to the world Morgan Stella-She was quite a big girl considering how early she came!! I'm saying a little prayer that her lungs develop ASAP so she can get out of that NICU!! Isn't it amazing! I know I am a second time momma but after all the joys and tears to have this little boy, it just makes me wanna cry sometimes when I look at him. All of our babies here are truly the BEST miracles ever. Esperanza-how is little Asha doing? I'm so sorry dh was away-my dh was home for the first week-not much help though(he-he!) like we don't have a 3 1/2 year old and he FORGOT how to change diapers??????? ARGH!!!!!! Anyway, thats o.k.-My friends laugh and say now I have 3 boys to raise-my 1st ds, my 2nd ds & dh!!!! Michele-hopng to hear the best of news from you soon-Maybe twins?? Don't know if that has anything to do with the high progesterone-just wishful thinking for you!! Wishing everyone a wonderful Wednesday-Life is good!!
