I didn't know you shouldn't wear perfum

I'm also waiting for replies then, my ER is tomorrow and I didn't know this

For ER I was told not to eat after midnight and not to wear any jewelery, or metal in your hair. Now, for ET I'm told not to wear any perfume, cologne, lotion, or anything smelling and same for anyone else that will be in the room during ET because the embryo's do not react well to it.

Faith03 they automatically prescibed Darvocet for the pain after ER so I'm sure they will prescribe something for you as well. And honestly, as uncomfortable as the ER was I didn't even have to take the Darvocet but it was good to know I had it if I need it.

I couldn't remember if it was for ER or ET so I just made sure not to wear perfume or lotion to either. Deodorant, jewelry and make-up were fine at my clinic (not that I wore make-up for the procedure).

well i just talked to the nurse and she said i have a couple of 13mm they want to get a little bigger so continue same dose tonight go back for another u/s in morning then maybe ER sat or even mon I knew it was to good to be true this is exactly how my last cycle went down to a tee and got bfn so I am starting to thik this isnt gonna be the one hard to stay positive when comparing to last cycle.... sorry so down but i dont think im strong enough to go again after this

When I had my ER, I was told not wear any perfumes, lotion, colonges, scented soap, hairspray, jewelry and accessories. I think its something to do with anesthesia.

sportsmom so u didn;t take the painkiller after your ER at all ???

Well ladies I went in for my third pregnancy test. My hCG level is 19. It was 14 two days ago. So not only is it low it did not double like it was suppose to. RE says to still continue to take my medicine and re-test on Friday. What an emotional drain. Oh yeah, they again assured me that I would not go full term, that I would miscarry. AARRGGG!!

When I had my ER in FEB, I didn't do so well. I got a slight over stimulation. It caused a lot of pain. I was told to drink Gatorade (high sodium). Once I did that the pain went away. It would have been nice to know that on day one, b/c I went days in a lot of pain. I was given Darvcet right afterwards but wasn't given any to take at home. I was just told to take Tylenol. My RE did not tell me anything about makeup, jewelry, perfume, hairspray, or anything like that. Thats good to know if I have to go through another fresh cycle.

hey guys - ER went well on Tuesday. They got 13 mature eggs and we got the news yesterday that 9 of them fertilized! Today we are waiting to hear more on their development. If we have at least one 4-cell, we will plan on a 5 day transfer and I'll go in for that on Sunday. Keep your fingers crossed!!

I definitely recommend the numbing cream for the PIO shots. I've used it for two days now and they haven't been painful at all. Just leave it on for 10-15 minutes before the shot.

Hey all you early HPT'ers: try to keep your PMA up.... remember- I was one who took them when the RE's office told me to (14 days post IUI and 16 days post) and got a BFP with good betas, but not for another FOUR days!!!!

Hey All! I had my ET transfer this morning. They transferred 2 beautiful 5 day embies and are freezing 3 more. They said they could have potential more to freeze over the next day or so and would let me know on Tuesday.

Since I've been at risk of hyper stimulation this whole time they hooked me up to a IV afterwards, I think it was Hepastarch (?), something like that. And was violently sick once I got home. I'm sure my embies are safe but I'm still worried that I've done them harm. Anyway, my beta is May 11th! I was hoping I would know before Mother's day. I may have to POAS before then.

AFM I am a little bummed ER is monday morning I was so hoping after being pushed off till sat it would be then but now its getting through the weekend I asked if there was a problem they said no my estrogen levels have doubled and my follicles are nice size but a couple of smaller ones they want to catch up I have next u/s sat morning then they will tell me what time to trigger sun I am so impatient

ok, so BFN today... no surprise- AF popped up last night. BUT its nice have a set cycle

I have a problem now tho, if I ovulate on the same cycle this coming time, I will be out of town for the weekend without DH. I will see him Thursday, leave Friday night (before he gets home), ovulate Saturday, and not see him until about midnight Sunday. Will BDing on Thursday be good to get me through the weekend!? I would hate to waste my meds on this cycle if its hopeless.
