HELLOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! :D

I can't believe I haven't been here in AGES! I had so much to catch up on, and my kids are going to wake up any minute...

No time for personals, but I just wanted to say "hi"!

I've been on FB too much, I guess!

Kimi did have her baby on Sunday! She's beautiful....pics are on FB.

Big Red---I love the names you picked out! I have a Braeden, so I'm particularly fond of your boys names.

As for BFing....I bfed for about 3 months...I would try like heck to bf them on you and not pump so much. You won't get as much milk with the pump, plus it's a pain. I did use my pump to help increase my supply, but having the kids on you is much more efficient. JMO. Kholtan is the bfing queen around here, so I'm sure she'll help you along the way!

Suga--sorry to hear about the credit card companies. It does suck. I'm glad they were able to lower your rate a bit.

XRAYEM! Hello! Glad to see you! How are your THREE kiddos?

Wish I had time to post to all of you, but it took me forever to catch up!

Braeden and Ellie are good. They are loving the nice weather, so we are playing outside as much as possible. We're nearing the end of teething (I PRAY!). Ellie just started getting her 2 year molars, so I think once those are in, we will see the light at the end of the tunnel. both kiddos are jabbering up a storm. I've gotten very talented at toddler speak!

Hope all's well. I'll try to check in more often. Take care!

Hi there,

I haven't been here for a LONG TIME. How is everyone!?

I had my baby on Satudray, 25 at 2:57 am by C-section. My poor doctor had to be woken up but I guess he's used to this sort of schedule! I started having contractions, crampig and lower backache that day and it intensified around 10:00 pm. My husband took me to the L&D around 11:00 pm and I was told that I was 4 cm dilated and that I will probably have the baby that morning. The baby's doing fine and I am feeling much better now. Twin C-section took longer to heal than this time, I think, as I remember it was much more painful to recover. So, Kimberly, good news!

The baby is very cute and loves sleeping. I have to read up on Babywise again shortly before she graduates from the newborn stage. But so far, she's been pretty easy to care for. I would say anything is easier than caring for newborn twins! She eats very well, too (formula) and takes 4 ounces every 4 hours already. My milk hasn't come yet and I have an appt with the lactation consultant tomorrow. I am annoyed at my boobs at this point but it's nothing new!

Anyway, wanted to post the news here as well. Oh, she was 7 lbs and 9 ounces and 21 inches long. So, she was pretty big. I was 39 weeks. My biggest kid was Sean at 7lbs and 11 ounces. It's so funny how nurses knew me at the L&D because I had all my kids at the same place. I did have my tubes cut during the operation so no more for me for sure!

Well, I better get some shut eye while the twins nap. The baby's sleeping as well.

Take care and I will check in time to time to see how you are doing. I will try to update my blog very soon as well.

Tolbee: I know I said this on facebook, but congrats again! I am glad that she is sleeping for you! She is just beautiful! I also think it is funny that you had to get your tubes tied. Ironic more than funny I suppose...I mean IVF then naturals...a lot of people are that way. IVF must kick people's cycles into gear or something!

I am sure if my cycles were under control and I lost weight I would get back on track with some things....I still have not had a period since they were born.... :? PCOS is wonderful!

Anywhoo, any tips on getting Brooke to take longer naps? She wakes up around 45 minutes then wants to get up for 20 min. or so and go back down for the rest of her nap...I made her just cry it out for a few days but that is just heart wrenching and she is just tired the rest of the day.

Tolbee: She is also eating a lot! I forgot to say that! Gosh!

Oh, for those who do not follow me on facebook, the girls had their physical therapy appt. and passed! They do not need any therapy! If they do not start saying mama or dada in the next month then they may need some speech therapy down the line....But they did not even have to adjust their age and they passed with great numbers!

Mackenzie is trying to scoot a lot and she turns circles when she is on her tummy by placing one had behind the other...too cute! Makes me think that we need out of this apartment and into a home so they can crawl around! I need to baby proof still!

Twinmommy, congrats on passing the PT! That must be a big relief. When the little ones were born early, there are some delays but then your girls are doing awesoe sounds like! About the nap, it must be the phase (probably tired of hearing this) and it should pass in a couple of weeks? If she's just fussing, I would just leave her alone but if she's so worked up and it upsets you, I would do whatever that makes both of you feel better. But I think she'll grow out of it eventually. My DH and I were talking that how funny how we thought we never ever have a child 4 years ago. We feel very blessed to have a house full of kids! Yeah, it's ironic that I had to tie the tubes. Those were the parts that I thought were defective on my part!

We went to the newborn screening today at Women's center today. Of course, I was barked at by the lactation consultants for giving her bottles. I have to pump 8 times per day looks like (not that I didn't know) and put the baby at breast at every feeding. If I want to get serious about breastfeeding this is the last chance for me, so I will try my best. Apart from that, the baby's hearing is good and she does not have jaundice. She's doing pretty well.

It's quiet right now as the twins are napping and so is the baby. I think I wore the baby out by taking her to the appt. We have series of appts next week for everyone so weill be quite busy.

Anyways, I better do something else so that I feel like I accomplished something today!

Take care~

It is official, the girls are down to two naps a day. Some days they still need three but that is only if they do not nap well at one of their other ones...Brooke though, I do not know if this is a fluke, has started to sleep 1.5-2 hours each nap! So that is nice!

tolbee: Good luck on the breastfeeding! You can do it!!

Kimi--glad to hear your little girl is doing so well! Good luck with the bfing...I'm sure it will work itself out.

Suga--Yeah for 2 naps! I think you'll find it nice. You'll have more time and chances to go out and about.

We had our first u/s today and there's two little hearts cranknig away. ET was on 4/8/09. We were released to the ob-gyn as well. Part of me is so excited. Growing up I always thought that twins were so neat. My sister in law has had reocuring dreams about twins trting to get to this earth. She knew they were not hers, but that they were family. Now I need her to have dreams of winning loto #'s lol!!!! Anyway It appears I am at the begining of a long journey. And you know what? I cant think of anything I'd rather be starting.......

davidjohn1973: CONGRATS! Twins are just awesome!! Hard at times but so totally worth twice the smiles and giggles!! CONGRATS!

The girls still battle with 2 or 3 naps a day. We are still at three naps the majority of the time. Mackenzie is not eating yet again. I dunno if it is the reflux or what. I have been a bad mom and have been forgetting the meds  So I remembered now!!

Have any of you had babies with hard pellet poop? Mine still have this! If I do not put Kayro in EVERY bottle this is what happens! I have been doing a little research on it and it says it could be intestinal blockage?!?! I need to ask the pedi when I go in for their 9 month appt.

Also, I am opting out on the chicken pox vaccine. I might opt out of Hep A as well. Any of you do the same thing or what are your views on these??

Anyways, as most of us are on facebook now (KIMBERLY, KIMI, KIM :D ) We are not threading as much lol.

Hello everyone. I am so sorry I have not been on here to say hi. We are all doing great here. The babies will be 7 months on the 27th and they are healthy. Ryan at 6 month appt was 20.3 lbs and 28 1/4 in tall and Emily as 18.23 lbs and 27 3/4 lbs. They are eating solids for all meals, in fact they are already eating stage 2 foods. Ryan is rolling from stomach to back. He does not like to stay on his stomach, so he might be a straight to walking kind of guy. Forget crawling. Emily likes roll side to side. So I will walk out a bit after laying her down on her floor to play with toys and she has rolled under the bed. have to watch her. They are attempting to sit up on their own and last about 30 sec to a minute so far. They are doing wonderful. Love their exersaucers and I don't know what I would do without those things. I will attach recent pics here. oh and I forgot Emily, the one we call T Rex cause you have to walk by her quietly as to not wake her up. Is cutting 2 teeth at the same time. YAY!! :( We have had to put her in bed with us at night for the last week to get her to sleep because she wakes up every hour to hour and a half and if we are not there with her she screams. Ryan is teething but no teeth coming out yet. Oh and to top it all off. We also got a border collie puppy. Yeah I know. I guess I secretly wanted triplets, right? He is almost 12 weeks old now. We are having major issues getting him to go outside. He knows to go out there, but seems to come in from outside and do it right on the tile right in front of us. Attention seeking you think? My hubby better fix that before they start really crawling.

How is everyone else doing? Congrats Tolbee on the new one. I forgot you were pregnant again. Sorry.

Suga, how are you doing? I am not sure if I have you on my facebook. If there is anyone on here that I don't have, please find me Stephanie Piland Jordon. Would love to see pics.

Buckeygal - how are you? Your twins are almost 2, wow. I can't believe how fast they grow. It makes me mad that I sat there wishing they were get past the newborn stage so they don't wake up so much but now I miss them being that little. I can't believe they use to be that small.

Congrats davidjohn!! It is a fun ride. how far along are you?

Well I hope to stay on here and keep up to date with everyone. <Miss talking to you.

Steph

Steph--adorable pics! They are soooo cute! I do miss those days...the excitement that happened with rolling, scooting, etc. Enjoy! Wow--a new puppy. You are a very brave woman! I'm sure the kids will grow to love the dog and vice versa. Our dog adores the kids and puts up with so much torture from them!

I'll find you on facebook. That's where I seem to spend more of my "free time" these days!

Steph, sorry I have not been on here in awhile!! SOOO CUTE!!! I miss my little ones even though they are still little.

MACKENZIE IS CRAWLING!!! HOW FUN! I think Brooke is not too far behind and it is funny because when Mackenzie is crawling Brooke looks on in awe then will start to scream because she can not do it. Too cute. I love my little munchkins!

HELP!!!! I'm struggling with the pacifier. Whalen and Wynn are 3 weeks this Thursday. I feel like my household at 1am is a replica of NIGHT AT THE MUSEUM! :) I think babies need to suck and they love their pacis. However, when I put them down for naps or at night to sleep they start crying and putting their hands and arms around their mouth for their pacis. I hate to put them to bed with them since they fall out and then I'm up putting them back in. What are your thoughts???? Need help getting them to sleep even 3 hours at night.
