Just confirmed that our ET will be Sunday. They said some of the little embryos are developing well - I wish they would have been more specific about how many, but I guess it's hard to tell at this point. I can't wait to get them back on Sunday!

First off- good luck to everyone in whatever they will face today in their cycle timeline!
I have a question - I have been on my Bravelle/Menopur injections for 3 days. I do not feel anything- no cramping or pressure. Is this ok? I am concerned- I have been on Chlomid in the past and always "felt" things alerting me that I was responding. My U/S is scheduled for Sat am, I know they can tell then if all is well, but for now I am still concerned- Did any of you feel different from the Bravelle/Menopur? Any experience info will help. Thanks all!

I have been on BC since last sat and I get these terrible headaches. Is taht normal?

Faith77-- I never really fell any bloating or anything until day 6 or 7 of stimms...I think its completely normal to not feel anything....

yeah faith 77 , I was also on menopur and bravelle and i agree with neffi .. didn't feel a thing before .. just these past 3 days I have alot of pressure in my lower abdomen .. Most of the girls here who used these meds didn't feel anything at all ..so for now just relax and even if you feel some pressure( like me ) that is also normal..

yeah it's a very common side effect of BCPs .. i did get it but only for a few days .. which ones are u taking ?? i was on YAZ.. I hope u feel better

Thanks for the support- I just get myself worked up- I expect to feel something physical with all these meds and all I am is moody, so I get into my worrywart stage and convince myself they are not working. I am Sooo glad I found this mesage board! You guys are great

faith77 Hey I just noticed you live in Atlanta! I live right outside the perimeter. Do you mind me asking which IVF clinic you go to? If you're not comfortable I totally understand. I'm going to Reproductive Biology Associates. Totally love my RE. Such a small world we live in.

And as for the meds...when I first started I didn't feel anything and thought I was doing something wrong. Probably until day 8 of injections did I start to feel uncomfortable, bloated, moody. And when I started stims....my DH will tell you I was a total Biatch! LOL

Faith77You can get most of the abbreviations on the General Forum... I think that with a letter from your RE you should be ok.

And also during my stims I was just having headaches and mood swings until about day 8 that I started to feel bloated

Medstudentmom2b When I was on day 7 of Lupron I got AF. I didn't call the nurses because they told me to expect bleeding. So when I went for my suppresion ck 2 weeks after starting Lupron the RE asked me if I got a period after Lupron, I told him yes so he said good!

Faith 03 lol.. Yes they decrease my meds too. I was taking 1-bravelle and 1-menopur and about 3 days before trigger they told me to do only 1-bravelle, no menopur

AFM ER was yesterday. Everything went well and I'm now home just waiting for fert report and day of ET

Sportsmom-
I am going to Atlanta Center for Reproductive Medicine and couldn't be more pleased with the entire staff. From receptionist, financial personnel to RE. I am so glad you like yours too, I think that is so important. I don't know anyone who has used them before, but they came recommended by my OBGYN and when we met our doctor for the initial consult- DH and I loved her and the partners. I don't know what I would do if I didn't have a comfortable relationship with the nurses and Doctors. As for my meds- I can feel a little pressure today- it's day 5 of stims, so I am a bit encouraged they must be doing their job:) I will know for sure in the morning- I have an 8am U/S & bloodwork appointment. I am hoping things are looking good and I will still be in line to transfer sometime next week. Where are you in your cycle timeline? Good Luck with it all!

Thanks Estrellita! So happy that ER went well for you! Did you feel any pain at all?

Cool, I feel better now about AF coming 7 days after starting Lupron. It seems you had the same exact thing happen. I cant wait to start stims already but my supression check is Wed of next week so I have a ways to go.

AFM .. had an ultrasound today .. will find out whats next when the nurse calls ...I am soo nervous .. they say they'll put me to sleep but the last time when i was put to sleep was when I got a D& C after my miscarriage last year .. so I don't have very good memories when it comes to GA :)anyways hope all goes well..

Faith 03-- I use a 27 Gauge 1/2 inch needle. But I know that some people use an IM injection....

AFM-- Had u/s and bw this morning. RE counted 27 follies, but only 5 that are 10mm right now. So i will go back Monday for another u/s. I am hoping to get more eggs this time since DHs spermies need as many as we can get!
