I am new to this site & IVF. I have so many questions & I'm hoping that some of you can guide me through the process. I was diagnosed with endometriosis level 4 & was told that due to the damage endo had caused to
my ovaries conception would be nearly impossible. My doctor suggested IVF & I have my first appointment tomorrow. I have been going through a lot of different emotions since the diagnose, but I am starting to get used to the idea of IVF. Is there any specific questions I should be asking my dr on my initial visit? I'm sure she will be going through the entire process, but I want to make sure we cover everything.
Hang in there! I understand the emotions you are going through. I'm sorry to hear about your endometriosis, but it sounds like there is hope! I was told in December that my tubes were completely blocked due to scarring and that I would never be able to conceive. So, I know exactly how you feel! But, I do have to tell you, after my appointment with the IVF specialist I am now 100% confident there will be a child in my future. You just have to have faith throughout whole process and take it one day at a time. The information they give you can seem overwhelming but it does get easier. I hope your appointment went well and all of your questions were answered. Keep a positive attitude. I will be praying for you and your situation

I, too, am new to this forum (in fact, this is my first post), and also to IVF. I am 42 and have been told that the best bet given my age is to go through IVF. My husband and I have almost completed a full work-up, and if all looks good, we will likely try our first IVF cycle at the end of May. I am looking for lots of support and information through this website and will happily make the journey in to this online community with you! Best to you---
