Well, it looks like I'm done this cycle. I just got my beta results back and my beta dropped from 221 to 57. Now I just get to wait for the bleeding to start. I wish you all the best of luck in the future.

baylorbear, I'm so sorry things didn't work out for you :( We're always here for you and please keep us posted on your future plans.

Has anyone experienced a sudden stop (slow down) of symptoms? This morning I noticed my bbs weren't nearly as sore as they've been in the past few weeks. I haven't gotten nauseous lately and I feel pretty "normal". Just wondering if any of you that are further along have noticed this. I'm 7 weeks. I almost want to run out and buy another hpt!

hi cymplicity, I'm from the Oct thread and caught your posting -- just wanted to let you know that exactly the same thing happened to me with my symptoms, and it is apparently normal right around this time. Symptoms can come and go and change and then come back again! Part of it has to do with your body adjusting and becoming used to the hormonal changes.

Wishing all of you on this thread lots of luck,
xx summer

Post by davidjohn1973 »

Just got the 2nd Beta today..........8214! Ultrasound 05/11. I was told these were excellent numbers. I was also told to call our ob-gyn and let them no we are on the way! Can any one shed any light on these numbers? I am really curious as to the possibility of twins etc.......

baylorbear: Words just can't describe the pain- I'm sure. The anger and disappointment, I am just so sorry this didn't work for you, this time. Do your best to take care of you and I'm sending you ((((((((((((((((HUGS))))))))))))))))))))!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

cymplicity: YES, you are not losing your mind, mine have come and gone and it freaks me out.... of course the nauseousness is so annoying, now I'm thankful when I feel good :)

For some odd reason- I haven't been receiving the emails notifying me of posts :(

davidjohn, how many days post transfer? They say these numbers don't mean a whole lot in the long run. Some women have high numbers and a singleton, others have low numbers with twins. Most of us still believe the higher the number the more likely it's multples though. Here is a useful site that just gives you an idea of what other women's numbers looked like. Keep in mind that they are using Days Post Ovulation so you may have to adjust your days a bit:

www.betabase.info

By the way, my first u/s is the day after yours, 5/12! My RE is torturing me obviously and making me wait longer than all the other ladies have had to wait on here

Hi All, Just had my first ultrasound today and it's TWINS! We only saw a heartbeat on 1 baby. The 2nd baby was a bit smaller and she said I'm only 5 weeks and 4 days. My due date is Dec. 26th, but will probably be sooner since twins.
I'm both in shock and excited. I'm working so much now so it's hard for me to post, but I'm thinking of all of you and hope everyone is doing well.

Congrats Trying! I was in shock too when I was told I was having twins, but I'm excited now! I'm just now 9 weeks and feel like I need to start shopping for maternity clothes. The nausea really hit me the end of 7 weeks. When is your next u/s? I have mine on Tuesday, 5/5.

Thank you Cocoa!

Aims, My next u/s will be on May 11th. I already bought some maternity clothes. I work full time and by the end of the day I was feeling so uncomfortable in my clothes I had to get something more comfortable. I think there should be a law that pregnant woman don't have to work while pregnant if they don't want to. LOL. I feel nausous once in awhile.
My doctor is keeping me on the PIO shots until I'm 9 weeks! Just when I thought I was close to being done with those. Did your doctor have you stay on it longer? Also I was told no sex until I reach 12 weeks! My DH is not very happy about this. It's hard waiting for that next u/s and wondering if we are going to see a heartbeat on baby B. Your's is coming up...can't wait to hear about it! Take care.

Hello everyone. Hope you all had a fabulous weekend!

Trying, congrats on the twins! That is SO exciting!! :D :D :D I was told to stay on PIO until I was 10 weeks. My u/s is next week and I'll be right at 9 weeks and I'm praying they tell me I can get off the shots then  No sex until 12 weeks!! Yikes! DH would be in a state of depression . My RE never even mentioned sex and it wasn't on my list of "don'ts", not even after ET. I've seen a lot of other ladies on here mention it though.

AFM, FINALLY my first u/s is only a week away. It's been a long 2.5 weeks so far. I've been having the pickle craving lately :) DH bought a huge jar of dill pickles and they are delicious :D I think he enjoys the cravings thing more than I do! If I mention anything he runs straight out to the store and gets it. I'm going to milk the queen treatment as long as I can

TRYING: woooo-hooooo!!!!!!!!   Hang in there with the no sex thing- I have been scared every time we've done it, but no problems so far & I must say the big "O" is much more intense! Sorry if that's TMI for anyone, but I've been so sick off and on, it's the one and only thing that has been pleasurable!! And, although I'm not on the PIO's, I am on the Crinone gel suppositories until OB/GYN says I'm ok to stop. My 1st appointment with him is on 5/14, so I'm hopeful , but scared about not seeing a heartbeat. Sometimes I think I'll buy a doppler, but should I not be able to find the heartbeat, I'm afraid I'd just freak out!!!!

Anyways, I can't wait to hear about your next u/s!!! AND AIMS: your is just TOMORROW! YAY!!!!!
