Michelle is testing today and then Mom2Luke and I are testing on Friday. Mom2luke that is so exciting! So sure if you got a BFP this early you should get the official word on Friday. Me, I am convinced it is a BFN. Still nothing happening. No cramping, no hunger pains, no boobie swelling. I am preparing for a let down:( I thought about going for the beta and picking up a HPT on the way home from the clinic on Friday.
Michelle we are waiting to hear from you!

Well guys, its an official bfn for me. I am very sad about it, feel very depressed, but I know in a few days I will feel much better. We are going to meet with RE tomorrow afternoon to discuss what will come next. I hope we can figure out the finances and go for an FET soon. Thank you all for your support.

Michelle - i am so sorry to hear about your BFN! I've been trying to join this forum for a week now - but was encountering administrator errors together with the initiation email going into spam. well - i am finally in.
I've been following your guys' stories for a while now. I am sorry HJW and Michelle ! what a bummer. I also just finished an IVF cycle as you can see from my signature and it was a BFN.
So frustrating! granted it was my first - but everything looked so good going in - perfect embies, perfect transfer - the doctor was flaburgasted it didnt work. Very frustrating - i guess we just fell on the wrong side of the coin.
Anyway - Michelle i hope you do a FET soon. HJW - what are your plans?
I am doing a FET in May - onwards and forwards as they say. But those BFNs are a serious bummer!

Michele - hun, I'm so very sorry about your BFN, I was praying that you would get good news yesterday and your embies were just implanting late. Nothing I can say is going to make you feel any better at the moment, but it will get a little easier with each day, for both you and DH. Do let us know how you get on with your RE today and what you decision is regarding your FET. You have lots of beautiful frosties waiting for you, when you feel ready to move forward. How is DH feeling? Take care of each other...
LYD10 - thank you so much for your kind words, and I'm so sorry to hear that you recently had a BFN too. Like you, I was a first timer IVF and everything seemed to go very smoothly, right up until two days before beta when I just knew that it had gone wrong. You asked what's next for me - the answer is I'm not sure. We have taken the first available 'follow-up' consultation at my clinic but it's still over three weeks away, which seems like a long wait to find out what the RE thinks might have gone wrong. Personally, from the symptoms I was feeling, I'm convinced that my embryo implanted but then failed at the last moment. We have two Grade 1 frozen embryos so I guess we may do an FET, but I'm not sure what the percentage chances are of both the embryos surviving the thaw, and I'm not sure whether I can face doing a transfer with only one embyro again. The other factor for us is that our first and next cycle are funded by the local healthcare trust, so we may be forced to do a frozen instead of a fresh, and forced to just transfer one. We will have to wait and see. In the meantime, we are on holiday for two weeks in June so the earliest I can see anything getting started is July. Good luck for your FET in May - do you have any dates yet?
rikirees - good luck for Friday! Lots of women feel no symptoms (cymplicity on this thread being a good example), it really doesn't mean that it didn't work. I only got worried by the lack of symptoms because I had them and then they went away!
Mom2Luke - so exciting that you got a positive on your HPT, this thread needs a bit of good news at the moment! Good luck on Friday, let us know what your numbers are from beta.
sportsmom - how are you doing?

michelle--i am so very sorry for your BFN. what is your next step? i totally know the feeling of getting that BFN, the emotions are crazy!! good luck with whatever you decide to do next.
LYD10 welcome to the board. You will find many great ladies on here that lend support and encouraging words. Good luck on your FET in May! Wishing you a BFP.
hjw I am glad to see you're jumping right back. Good for you and dh...I wish you much success on the upcoming FET. It will be here before you know it!
AFM, I'm feeling pretty down today. I'm trying to keep a PMA but I keep having this dull ache on my right ovary. About the same feeling I get when I'm ovulating. I know it's still early and my beta is not until Monday but I'm so worried it will be a BFN for me. Any tips on how to get out of this slump and to stop obsessing?????
Sportsmom- I am sorry you are having a tough time. Monday seems like so far away. Have you decided if you are going to POAS? I have no idea how to stop obsessing other than take a sleeping pill and sleep until your beta next week Man these 2ww are SO LONG.
Mom2luke- at least our wait will be over with in less than 2 days. For you I am confident you will be getting your BFP. The symptoms you described sound like OHSS. I hope the swelling goes down a bit.
As for me, besides the need to be eating ALL day long and being very tired (I don't get much sleep lately), I am pretty sure I will be getting a BFN and I am kinda ok with it. My daughter is having some health issues lately. I have been crying and an emotional basket case the last day. I think she is going to need to go into the hospital for a few days of tests. I can't imagine how I will handle her medical stuff and me being PG. So I think it is a BFN we have to take a break and try to figure out what is wrong with her before we go one trying to have another baby

rikiree- i hope your daughter will be ok! i will keep her in my thoughts that all goes well.
sportsmom--i don't think there is anyway to NOT obsess!! i think its part of the IVf process that they should tell you about in the beg. like egg transger on day __ then stressing starts on day ___ and will stop with beta being drawn on day __!!
estrellita--good to see you on here--hope your wait goes by quickly!! and GL!!
AFM--tested again today and it was positive again and beta is friday so i have a good feeling about this. and i'm having some of the same symptoms i had with my son except just a couple of weeks earlier int he pregnancy so i'm wondering if both embrys didn't implant?? iwonder if that happens with twins, if some pregnancy symptoms happen sooner. anyways--i guess i'll wait until friday.
sportsmom, I remember having a similar pain near my left ovary which is where my ovulation pain usually is. I can't remember when it was or how long after ET, but I do remember describing it to DH as ovulation pains. Don't give up hope!
Cynthia - 31, blocked tubes, DH - 26, perfect
1st IVF - 3/2009, ER - 3/26, ET - 3/29 BFP!!
Ugh, this waiting sucks. I don't even know what I'm waiting to feel. At 4dp5dt, I'm exhausted and my breasts are pretty sore, but I think that's the progesterone shots, not necessarily any embryos making themselves at home. I still have a week until beta May 13. I think I'll go crazy by then....
mom2luke, only 1 more day! My beta week went by pretty fast since I had one about every other day (total of 3). Then comes the wait for the u/s which is the only real time you know how many are in there. Waiting has been worse than the 2ww for me
sportsmom, there's still time. Hang in there! I'm praying for you.
statsgoddess, go crazy. We all do
