A friend is in this situation. Worried that her 3 frozen embies won't work, but due to age is worried delaying a fresh cycle will be a problem. I think she would would want to try the frozens asap so she knows if she needs to do another fresh cycle.
Her baby is 8 weeks old and she plans to nurse till 6 months...she is making an appt with her RE. I was just curious.

Lynniecat-I'm no expert on this, but I believe I read on here before that the doc's will not do it if you are still breastfeeding-I'm pretty sure she would have to stop first.
I am currently nursing and planning a FET for July. My RE will not do a medicated FET until I stop nursing. He said that I need to stop at the end of the month when I begin BC. I have basically weaned my son off the breast and onto all bottles with expressed breastmilk. I will stop pumping and giving him fresh breastmilk once I begin BC. I have over a months worth of milk saved in the deep freeze. I asked about a natural cycle FET and my doc said I could do that if I wanted but the success rates are not nearly as high. (I only have 2 frosties). I have decided to go ahead with the medicated FET cycle because my son is nearly a year. I think that most REs will not recommend a FET cycle while nursing.
Does your friend have her period back yet? I believe that a cycle will be more difficult if she does not have her period back yet. but i could be wrong about that.
