estrellita - I did early HPT's on my first IVF and they came back BFN's so I think the apprehension set in this morning because of my past experience. I have snapped out of it, though! I have a friend who is 8mnths pregnant and has pumped me with positive thoughts, told me if I took another HPT before my beta, she would have to slap me. I believe her hormones are on overdrive, but I wouldn't put it past her.

well i am back from the clinic and awaiting my results this afternoon. They tried to cheer me up and say that tons of women get BFP's and have no symptoms for a really long time. Only a few more hours and I will know either way.

as my luck would have it the lab tech. had an emergency and won't be in the office today to run my test. and with it being friday....they said maybe tom. i will get the results!! of all the days to have an emergency!!!

Oh man mom2luke. Bummer. But you have your hpt so you kinda know;)

As for me, better news than I expected, I guess. Beta is 5.08. They are pretty sure it is a chemical pregnancy. I am to stay on meds and retest Tuesday. I guess it is better than a bfn. They said to stay optimistic and maybe the numbers will be better next week.

Hi ladies can I join in I had ET yesterday we transferred 2 embies and our beta is the 20th trying to stay positive now my pma has been on a roller coaster

anyone start estadiol tabs yet my next BW is Mon last cycle my levels dropped in between ET and BW so I started early this round

Welcome to all the newbies! I would tell you to sit back and relax but that's impossible to do.

I've been pretty down in the dumps lately. 9dp5dt and still BFN and started spotting brown a little. My sweet, sweet DH is trying to keep me optimistic and I don't want to crush his spirits.... So I go along that we still have a chance on Monday's beta.

I am sorry Sportsmom that you are still getting a BFN. Try to stay optimistic. No sense in stressing at this point. You will have your results soon enough and at this point there is nothing you can do to better the odds of a BFP.

I broke down and bought a ton of HPT's. I havent done any yet... I really have no idea what to think of my results..YES, NO, MAYBE.... Unfortunately, everything I have read basically says a chemical pregnancy is in fact a BFP, but in process of a miscarriage:(. The weird thing is that I am starting to FINALLY feel symptoms and some cramping, no spotting at all though. Or maybe it is my imagination. My number was SO low that I don't foresee it turning out well.

Mom2 luke- did the clinic call today with your results??!

rikirees-i have read the same thing about chemical pregnancy. for your sake i hope they are wrong!!
