Anybody breaking out? (acne) I have fine bumps going from my nose and covering my chin...gross!!! And my nose is SO oily!! Anyone else having these symptoms? Or just poor little me?

Hello Ladies:

Sorry, I've been MIA, I was very busy and tired. So I manage to work and take naps. But I was following all the post.

Cimplicity - Since last night I have back pain, I think is because this would be my AF week, but nothing else. My face is still clear (thank God). I have gain 6lb since I started all the process. You suffered from M/S some days ago, how is that going?

Cynthia and Ian - this is a little scary, baby stuff is not cheap. I use all of our savings for the treatment and our bank account is 00000. But I know God will provide (is that the word?). You see girls 15, 16 years old, and they have everything they need. Just relax and you see everything will be excellent. I understand your concern about DH, I have a marriage of 16 years, and to think there will be another person in our life is confussing, even thought I wanted this baby. Right now I feel our life is changing already. But I am sure everything will work out fine.

Hey Sari. No m/s since that day. I actually think eating yogurt shortly after taking my prenatal vitamin is what made me sick. I totally forgot that I'm not suppose to have dairy within 2 hours of taking the vitamin (according to the directions on the bottle).

You're right about the teenagers and I'll see women in low-income areas pushing baby stollers without a care in the world...of course they are on government assistance so I guess they don't have much to worry about. DH and I have tried to do everything right and get everything in order so we have to believe that God will make a way for us

Confusing is a great way to describe the feeling of another person coming into your lives, . I ran into a friend the other day and she was getting somethings out of her car and asked me to grab her baby out of the car seat. It was the weirdest experience! I was actually imagining picking up my own baby and it's like everything was in slow motion. Until the baby looked at me and frowned like "you are not my mother" and laughter broke the trance, lol!

How is everyone feeling today? I feel pretty good. No new symptoms. I feel like my belly has gotten a little bigger/tighter though.

I just had an awful scare Thursday AM and had to go in for u/s thinking I was in the beginning stages of a miscarriage at 10 weeks. I had really talked myself into being ready to hear there was no heartbeat and trying to think of all the good things that would result from that news, in an effort to protect myself emotionally. Well, thank our Father above, everything is fine- but I just cried and cried when they said it looked beautiful!!!

I do think I'm reaching the turning point in the m/s area!!! YAHOO! And because of yesterday's scare- NO MORE SUPPOSITORIES! Yay!

Nicole, what symptoms were you having or what were you experiencing to make you go in for the u/s? Glad everything's ok!!!

Cynthia~ Oh yikes- it was so gross.... I was having very dark brown discharge that you could have mistaken for what looked like diahrea, sorry for TMI! I so didn't want to go to the RE, b/c I just KNEW there wouldn't be a heartbeat. That kind of dark brown stuff I'd always heard was the first sign of a miscarriage! Bebe was moving around a lot, so no worries, measuring beautifully and developing well.

She said there was a small pool of blood/fluid in the wall of my uterus, but that it wasn't anything to be concerned about, that it wouldn't be cause for alarm or even potentially cause a miscarriage. WHEW!

This idget MUST be a girl and she'll probably be the death of me!

Ladies,

Help me out. I am freaking out. I just went to the bathroom and noticed a thick red spot. I am worried, could it be miscarriage? Has anyone experience any bleeding at 9 weeks? I have been released to OB and have my first appointment on Tuesday May 12. Should I wait until then or should I go to a doctor immediately? I am so worried and scared

Tara- try to stay as calm as you can and call your doc- the RE- they will want to see you ASAP, I'm sure. They'll do a quick scan and everything will probably be fine

For about the past week now (I'm in my 8th week) I've been spotting EVERY day. It's been really light though...like only a few drops a day and it's a pale brown color. Tara I'm sure things will be fine. If it's bright red I'd probably call RE just to be on the safe side. It's all so confusing. On one hand I know that a certain amount of bleeding is normal, but where does it cross the line of concern?? I am glad that you ladies are sharing your experiences though so I'll know what I COULD expect and still have a healthy pregnancy.

Hi Ladies!

First, congratulations everyone on your BFPs!!!!!

I hope I can join you here, I recognize some of you from the March/April thread. I got my BFP on April 18th and today I went in for my 1st u/s. I'm 6w6d and baby measures exactly that with a hb of 140. My doc says everything looks great, so I'm happy. This u/s was very relieving since I havent had any symptoms except going to sleep at 6 p.m. and leg cramps. I have another u/s in exactly 2 weeks. My EDD is December 26th.

Hello ladies,

Sorry I've been quiet lately. I had finals all week and this horrible headache. Tylenol might as well be candy. Also I have started having tailbone pain that is so bad, it's hard to walk. I was just told welcome to pregnancy when I mentioned it to the nurses. lol The nausea I was having is getting better so that's a good thing. One thing I've noticed is mood swings! I feel sorry for DH. lol Also, my sister-in-law is so excited about the twins she wants to buy us everything. I'm very grateful that she wants to help since everything is expensive. But I get so upset when she goes out looking for stuff. I keep telling my DH I want to pick it out! I know I'll get stuff at showers but I really want to do my own nursery. Today, she dropped off this cart thing at our house. My husband called me at work and said it's a cart on big wheels. lol I guess I'm supposed to hook it to a bicycle and ride the twins around. I'm sure that's a good idea but I have images of the babies flying out of the cart.

Ian - Sorry to hear about your scare but glad everything is ok.

Tara - Were you able to get an ultrasound? I had bleeding every week up til 7 weeks. I had a tiny bit yesterday but that's it. I'm sure everything is fine. Let us know how it goes.

Ianmichael, Glad all was good with your u/s. Are you feeling alot different from your 1st pregnancy? I just don't remember feeling this many symptoms so early on with my son. I feel like with him I was just mainly tired, hungry and nausous. BUt this time I have so much trouble sleeping. Even though my stomach isn't big yet it feels like I have to support with a pillow as if I'm 7 or 8 months along. The RE just said it's my uterus growing.

Cymplicity, have you told the RE about your light spotting? I'm sure it's nothing, but it must be a bit scary. I'm so excited for your upcoming u/s!! You have waited so long.

Aims, That's nice of you sister in law, but I understand you wanting to pick out your own baby things. The room we have for the baby is so small. I'm wondering if we will have to buy 2 cribs? There is no way they would fit in there. I guess we will figure all that out later. Have you had any trouble taking a deep breath? I've been having some trouble with that the last few days. I'm not sure if it's becuase I'm possibly anemic or if it's just due to carrying twins. I wonder how I'm going to breath when I'm 8 months pregnant!

I'm breaking down and getting some highlights in my hair today. I've waited so long and my hair looks awful. My RE said it would be ok as long as they don't put it right on my roots. Has anyone had their hair dyed or anything?

I need some help to get a ticker. I've tried a few times and can't seem to figure it out. Everytime I paste it in my signature section it won't show up. I don't know what I'm doing wrong. Thanks for any help!

Trying - We will need 2 cribs. I work with a lady with 1 year old twin boys. She said they started off sleeping together but within 6 months or less, she had to separate them. So, I've been shopping for two. I have had some problems with shortness of breath but mainly when I feel really bloated. It's not a constant thing, so I never really worried about it. My biggest complaint is heartburn. I have acid reflux so it's killing me to be off my meds. Tums was making me really nauseous so I was told I could take Pepcid AC instead.

As far as the tickers, I went to tickerfactory.com. I was having a hard time with mine showing up because I had too much in my signature. I had to condense it a little bit.
