Hi gals,
Thanks you soooo much for your support and lovely words!
Dh and I are over the moon, its also our two year wedding anniversary today, so we're doubly pleased.
Just really want to take each day at at time and enjoy it!
Debra, there are some TERRIBLE "aussie" accents, I can understand people taking the piss (we're a bit open to that I'm afraid!), I'm sure he's just jealous though of your southern hemisphere experience!
Hey, could well have been the beach visits and inadvertant boob flashing  , maybe this should be a recommendation for future cycles?

Hi Bel

Hows it all sinking in? I was so happy to hear your news and so excited for you. You've given me hope that maybe my frosties will work for me in August.

Take it easy and try and keep all your private parts away from friends of your brothers for the next wee while.

Love

Hey Wendy,
Lovely to hear from you!

It is sinking in slowly, we're trying to stay as low key as possible about it though until we survive the first scan. We got sooo excited last time, only for it to end up in tears (lots of 'em). Our scan is on the 30th of March, 8:45am, so Tuesday fortnight, its Thursday morning here, so that makes it twelve days and counting. There is so much waiting on this IVF rollercoaster!!!, maybe is good for developing patience before our babies come along!!!

Am really keen to hear about your cycle in August, I'm a big believer in FET, is a breeze compared to a full bllown cycle, no drugs (except after transfer), less appointments, and a good success rate. I have some very positive baby type vibes heading your way!!

Onto a very important topic..Is Sex and The City finished in the UK now?..We've just started the last series, but I think we're quite behind (just for a change!!!)

Oh, and yes, there has been no flashing at brothers friends of late. We were swimming at Noosa on the weekend, surrounded by topless European girls (you have great tans!!!), so if I had inadvertantly flashed, I would have been right at home!! :D
Chat soon
Belinda :D

Hi, thought I'd just burst in at mention of SaTC....I'm totally in heaven as it's on 3 times a week here. Once on Norwegian tv, no idea where in the penultimate series we are but Miranda and Steve are trying again, Samantha just b*nked Richard again but regrets it blah blah....then on Saturdays there's a double helping on Swedish tv (all of Norway gets both due to our tiny population not supporting too much domestic tv production) but these episodes are ANCIENT. I can't wait for the final series although I read the US celeb sites to find out what happens....so excited!

Finn just loves trying accents. In our first ever conversation he tried to impress me with his (non-existent) British accent. Long after he'd started, I genuinely asked him to let me know when he was going to begin. ROFL...bless, he's adorable.

Hoping you're basking in your new pg-ness!
love
Debra.

SaTC 3 times per week!!!..That's it, I'm moving hemispheres!!, we get it once a week, 9:30pm (by which time I'm completely exhausted-it is a school night after all!!). I luuurve shoes (I know I'm fickle), and Carrie, and all the girls really, have the best range I've seen..not to mention the handbags....We're definately on the final series here, Charlotte is in Jewish lessons (I think I read she was going to re-marry and adopt a chinese son), Carrie I think (hope) will end up with Big, and don't care as much for the other two....
Not sure about Finn and his dodgy accents, my John likes to pretend that our dogs talk to him, he maintains the most indepth conversations (kindof cute actually!!!)
Good luck for your blood test tomorrow Deb, I have everything crossed for you, please let us know how you go.

Hi Bel

You sound as if you are doing great. Will be thinking of you when you go for your scan next Tuesday, I can be excited for you.

As far as sex in the city goes we are on the last series and it finishes tomorrow night, but I'm not going to be in. arghhh! Will tape it though, I was about crying last week at the thought of it finishing, sad eh? I know who she ends up with and I am very happy about the result.

Debra, you are on the last series. Oh I love the shoes too, just in from the shops and have just treated myself to 2 new pairs of shoes and some tops.

I start a new job on Monday, I had applied for promotion before I started the last cycle of Ivf, and found out just before I went off that I got the job, its a couple of grades higher and a good bit more money so that will keep me busy till August.

Bel, I still have to use drugs for the fet because I can't have a too many periods because of the pain, I don't have a natural cycle, still anything is far better with no horrid egg retrival.

Hows the weather over there now, its finally starting to get a wee bit warmer here but it rains all the time, its crap and all the shops are filled with pale summer colours, I can hardly wait till my holiday to Italy in June, do you think if I flash at people that will make my next cycle of ivf work? Europeans may have great tans but I'm your type scottish girl, so pale I'm transparent apart from the freckles that is!

Look after yourself, you can always go out and buy some new handbags, after all you can never have too many and your pregnancy will never mean they don't fit. Have to say again how pleased I am for you.

Keep in touch

Love

Hey Wendy,
Is fab to hear from you..You have to tell me though, does Carie end up with Big??..God I hope so, I really like him, I know he's supposed to be a bit of a bad fella, I just can't help liking him!. :D

The weather here is just beautiful, warm, a bit rainy at night, but sunny (shorts and singlet) kind of weather. This is my fave time of year, we've been eating outside around our pool most nights, our dogs think it's for the pleasure of their company...

Your Italy holiday sounds divine, we're currently planning a week in June or July, probably up to the Whitsunday Islands in North Qld, the weather there is just gorgeous year round. I quite like to snorkle and look at the beautiful fish and coral, will be just wonderful. Not much shopping on the islands though, apart from hiddeous resort wear in shades of gold and white (puke!) :? I like the idea of trying the boob flashing whilst in italy, I figure its worth a shot!!

Good luck for your new job on Monday, what do you do to support spending habits that sound like they might match mine??? Love the handbag thought, was also thinking shoes and make-up and books..

My scan is Tuesday week (the 30th)..AHHHHH!!!..Is soo hard to wait that long. I feel so bloody normal, tired, thirsty...but really just normal. Would really like to feel pregnant or different somehow, but I figure is early days...my nipples are a tad sensitive, but have to test them to see (not in a pervy way?!?!?!)

Wendy, am really looking forward to hearing how your next cycle goes in August. I agree, avoidance of egg retrieval is a fabulous thing that should be truly appreciated. I kind of figure that the less intrusive stuff we have happen, the less there is to go wrong, so no egg retrieval can only be good.

Cheers
Belinda

Hi Bel
I know I'm about a week late but just wanted to wish you a massive CONGRATULATIONS on your news, you must be sooooo chuffed!!
And just think you'll never grow out out of shoes whilst pregnant so keep buying girl!
I know what you mean about pg signs, I will be 10 weeks on Monday and from about 6 wks felt really tired and sick (wasn't actually sick though) but now the symptoms come and go and then I get stressed out and think somethings wrong!! ( By the way have very sensitive nipples too)!!
Re Sex and the City it's the last episode here tonight but will have to tape it as will probablt be asleep. I don't like Carries french boyfriend so I too hope she goes back to Big.
Have a fab weekend and look after your precious cargo.

Hey Dawn,
Lovely to hear from you..I had read your posts on theJCB's I think??
Thanks for saying that you feel pretty normal, I feel so pathologically normal, apart from tired and thirsty, and do wonder whether I should be puking all over the place, but then would stress if I was doing that as well, so what will be will be!?!?!
Carrie simply must end up with Big, simple as that, they couldn't possibly finish the series without this happening..
Feel the need for some shoe shopping, I bough a gorgoues pair last weekend, black leather, kind of ballet slippers but a tad more robust..You're right, will not get too fat for these!!!!
Cheers
