trx- I found this question under the faq on the american pregnancy association website:

What if I notice some cramping and I am pregnant?
Pregnant women can have some light cramping early in pregnancy. The cramping is often like light menstrual cramps through the lower abdomen or on one side or the other. The cramping is often a result of all the changes that are occurring in the uterus. The uterus is experiencing change as the implanted egg begins to grow and develop.

Some light cramping may also be from the small cyst that can develop on the ovary at ovulation called the corpus luteum cyst. A small cyst forms in the spot on the ovary where the egg pops out before making its journey to the uterus. This cyst then produces progesterone until the placenta has formed enough to begin producing its own progesterone. This small cyst can cause some discomfort for women in early pregnancy.

Then I found this on a website called babyuniversity:

Some common early pregnancy signs reported by mothers-to-be include:
Mild or dull abdominal cramping or pain – Many women experience a cramping or “twinge” sensation on one side of the abdomen that they compare to those which occur during, or just before, the menstrual cycle begins. Several women report a feeling that their periods are “right around the corner,” although they never appear. In early pregnancy, this can be attributed to implantation pain or early ligament stretching.

Hope this helps ease your mind a little...atleast you have an u/s tomorrow to check things out.

Well it's a BFN for me. Although I'm not surprised it was still the most devastating thing to hear. I started spotting 8dpt and it progressingly got stronger and brighter. So I knew AF was trying to come. What's real cruel is that AF is never, ever on time. Always late but this month decides to show up early.

I truly wish everyone much success and I pray ya'll receive your BFP.

Much love, Sportsmom

Well I didnt get the greatest news today...only 2 of our embryos are at the point that they should be today (morula) This was suprising becasue usually when we get some from regular IVF not ICSI they all go to blast with no problem.....so I don't know. 1 of the 4 is doing well the others are 8 cells and they should be at least 10 by today and RE said the grade is not good. 1 from the ICSI group is doing well too, but who knows what we'll have tomorrow. My transfer is at 1:15 and it looks like we wont have anything to freeze. I was planning on transferring two, but if the grades are bad I might do three....I have to talk it over with DH tonight.

Neffi211 - Good luck on your transfer today! If you read this before you go, there's really no way to know what you have until right before transfer time. I hope you get good news when you get there.

AFM
- Well, today is my 30th birthday and tomorrow is my first beta. Eeek. The DH and I went out last night and bought some HPTs. I took one last night before bed and had a faint positive line. This morning, I took another and had another faint positive line and I took a digital test as well and got a YES! I know nothing is really confirmed until all this beta testing, but it gave me some hope for a positive result tomorrow. I had cramping on and off yesterday, but still no AF, and feeling pretty good so far this morning. (Ate cupcakes and orange juice for breakfast, LOL.)

Good luck to all in 2ww and with ER/ET coming up!

Statsgoddess-- CONGRATS! I'm so happy for you! Enjoy this time!

AFM-- transfer is scheduled for 1:15...we will transfer the two best, and I dont think we'll have any to freeze. My clinic does not freeze unless they make it to blast. I'll let you guys know how it goes.

amfmbaby- I got my 1st very faint positive at 6dp3dt using FRER HPT , then they slowly got darker until my beta. You have to be careful and to make sure that your hcg trigger is out of your system because that can give you a false +. I tested 5dp3dt and it was stork white negative so I knew at 6dp3dt that it was a real +. My positive was really early than for most people so don't get discouraged if you do decide to test and you get a - . You can have a late implanter and dont get a + until beta. Good luck dont torture yourself too much

Hi everyone. I haven't checked-in in a while (had been just sitting around waiting for my u/s!). Well I finally had it this morning and it's TWINS!!! Two strong heartbeats at 170 bpm. They measured right where they should be and everything looks great!

Just came back from my RE's clinic. I'm only 4w4d pregnant. but I been having this cramps mostly on my left side only. Having a history of ectopic pregnancy, my RE schedule me an early ultrasound to rule out ectopic pregnancy. I was really scared. Yesterday, while i was driving to home I almost hit a car cause I was really crying and scared that it might be an ectopic pregnancy. Thank God for taking care of my babies..not only I learned today that there's no ectopic pregnancy but we might be having twins or triplets, all are in uterus. It will be all confirmed next week cause its too early to say cause they are still very smalll.
God bless everybody.
